Saw the blurb for 2 new shows for Jan '27 at Sphere. I signed up for the pre-sale thing since this is probably my one and only shot to see the guys in my life time (I had this same vibe this year when I threw some money to see Bruce at PHX). Anyway for people that have see the band at Sphere and done the pre-sale sign up thing - how early should I get on TM. I know Ive done this before for DMB, Hozier, Foo Fighters, Rolling Stones, Bruce, Pearl Jam and gotten royally fucked over even when getting on early on the pre-sales. Just wondering if this pre-sale thing is worth it.

I understand that the Live in Anaheim collection of songs are heavily auto tuned or AI-ifyed, but the thing I just can’t tell is are the rest of the 2026 remasters auto tuned too? I really want to like them, as the instruments sound clearer to me, but if the vocals are AI slop then I won’t listen to it. What do you think? They don’t sound corrected compared to the 2013 remasters to me.

Good afternoon! I am currently parting with my entire record collection and I still have these Eagles records available. If you’re interested please message me!

For context, I'm in a high school academic team. They have a section in competitions where you have 60 seconds to answer 10 questions. One of the 3 categories to pick from was Pop Culture: Eagles Songs. We took it, and I got all of them right. Surprisingly, Hotel California wasn't one of them, and the only one I missed was Tequila Sunrise. If we hadn't done that, we would've lost. That's all, I just wanted to share.

Hi, just watched the Eagles documentary on Netflix and am fascinated in the story of the debut album artwork. I’d love to get a copy of this album (and even better if there are copies that were not glued shut!). Any thoughts/pointers?

I just inherited this. I’m a memorabilia collector so I don’t want to sell, but some of the signatures don’t match comps I’ve seen. I’m confident in authenticity but open to comments.

Which of the young Eagles gets your hormones racing?🤣🤣🥹

For me Randy Meisner! He’s the reason for me to be a fan.. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

hi there, how are ya?

I'm currently writing an argumentative piece about who the best vocalist is in the Eagles, and would like some fan opinions on the matter. my personal opinion is that glenn is the better singer, but everyone in the band has incredible vocal talent so.... who do YOU think is the best? this isn't meant to be a comparison, its just a discussion, please try to keep it friendly and respect others preferences. as a younger and newer fan, i'd love your guys' input. thank you!

Just inherited. Thoughts?

Genuinely a peaceful easy feeling recording this

I noticed lots of similarities when listening to the video I took in Feb this year and listening to the Live at Fourm album. First, using UVR5, I isolated the vocals with MDX23C, and I overlaid both tracks on top of each other in Logic and noticed they are literally the same. I understand people may argue that Henly is a brilliant vocalist, but the timing, notes, and improvisations are all the same after 8 years? No way. I think this is quite unmistakable evidence of their use of recordings in live performances. Which doesn't downplay their talent or success as musicians; I just thought it was interesting they use the same track for live performances after so long.

The same thing can be seen with a video I took from the Sphere of Take It Easy, a video on YouTube of Take It Easy in Nashville in May this year, and the forum recording. When the vocals are isolated with the same method described above, the tracks are overlaid on one another; they all sound like one single recording. There is not a hint of variance in melody, pitch, or timing.

I'm curious why this isn't more known, and I would love for people to recreate my test and give me feedback, in case I'm just going crazy.

(btw the picture is the overlaid vocals from the Forum on top and the Sphere on the bottom, while you can only rudimentarily make out pitch changes, I wanted to highlight the perfect synchronization of waveform and spectrum patterns for two supposedly separate live performances in different venues and 8 years apart.)

Anyone have clear pictures of the eagle bracelet and the ring that Glenn used in the 70s??

So there were a bunch of stuff, that the Eagles never quiet got to recording, though there were instrumental versions which were recorded, though they would be recorded by others. Were you aware of these?

1. Told You So - based on a Felder/Walsh lick recorded by Joe Walsh
2. Too Much Drama - Henley/Frey written recorded by Mickey Thomas of Starship on his solo album.
3. Bad Girls - Don Felder on his first solo album
4. Rivers of the Hidden Funk - Joe Walsh

Any thoughts?

(roughly) in order too

I got into guitar around two years ago, I mainly play acoustic since most of my favorite genres like country, country rock, folk, etc are mostly played here

My first ever song was Lyin eyes, and I decided to come back to it to try and learn the full song in a one man band style--riffs, bass, chorus on the same guitar

I'm trying to figure out how to replicate the piano portion that starts around the 2:20 mark. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm assuming there has to be some hammer on + strumming pattern that could replicate it. At least the opening, I could probably go on from there

I tracked it down on YouTube and started watching it for fun ( I'm only through episode one and two rn) and like... I can defo see why it got cancelled but a thre same time it's kinda fun. Any thoughts?
