I am an adult with a job and a life. I took time to buy this. I enter the website, and I get asked to log in, which I do but then get kicked out and put back on the waiting list. Then it sells out.

Let’s be clear, I’m not doing this bullshit again. No limited edition, limited stock releases, when you are a multi-billion dollar company owned by Unilever. You have the capability to make this permanent and put enough in stock. And mind you, even make it available outside the US. I am not wasting my time again like that, absolutely not. Are you kidding?

Dove smells good, but there are a million perfumes out of the market.

Was really looking forward to this gorgeous bottle and the nostalgic scent. Now people have to pay an absurd amount to get it.

DOVE soap like most was my childhood scent & makes me happy everytime I smell it. So even though I’m mad like the rest of you LOL, I’d still love to hear from anyone who actually got one.

Okay I just have to share a deeply embarrassing moment from this weekend. I was visiting a friend in a different city and we went to our favorite niche perfume store. It’s a very intimate, small shop.

After about half an hour of smelling perfumes and chatting with the owners, I decided to smell ONE final bottle (Andy Tauer L’air du Desert Marocain)….. and I dropped it….. and it shattered….. and the entire store started to smell STRONGLY of cedarwood and shame 😭

I apologized profusely and offered to pay for the broken bottle, but the owner said not to worry about it. He was sooooo nice about it, but I obviously was so embarrassed. I ended up buying a different perfume (Mxxx. by Eris Parfums).

So, moral of the story is BE CAREFUL when testing perfumes, don’t be like me.

On the bright side, some of the juice from the broken bottle got on my pants and now they smell nice lmao.

I kept refreshing, and saw the buy option at 12:02pm. Almost 10 dollar shipping, but it’s still a steal. Fingers crossed it’s my soapy HG

• I like wood, but not as much as I thought I did. Santal 33 and Wood Sage & Sea Salt don't really do anything for me, which makes me sad cause I hoped smelling tough and spicy and green would be my vibe
• I don't know if I really like gourmands, or if they're just so popular that I'm bound to find some I like
• In theory, I like scents that remind me of expensive shampoo, but the hyper-feminine hot girl yummy kind of perfumes are the ones I keep thinking about.
• Interested in trying more tea-heavy scents and maybe rice (harder to find)
• I haven't really delved into indie niche much at all. The amount of samples i'd have to buy scares me.

It doesn't feel like I've learned very much, but it's taken a while just to find out I like sweet and girly. Still just following my nose and trying on everything at target.

I've gone from hating to loving Angels Share 🙈At first sniff it was far too sugary sweet for me, but on my skin it became spicy and boozy and intoxicating! It's so perfect for this fall/winter transition & I can't stop wearing it.
Now I want to up the spicy and boozy qualities even more. Any suggestions for layering? Scents or oil or lotions, I'm open to any!

I'm a Gen X-er, and I have been craving the scents of 1990s and early '00s, so I recently purchased these two. Euphoria smells soooo divine when it's cold, and Obsession is sweet and powdery. Out of the two, Obsession definitely smells more old school, lol. I think the modern-day formula is way lighter than the original, if I'm not mistaken.

Any thoughts or experience with this frag?

Found this at TJMaxx and really loved the smell. I still like it but wondering if people around me might think I smell cheap or if it’s too overpowering. I don’t have anything to compare this scent to. It has decent longevity. It’s very unique and just not my normal wear. Lately I’m wearing Lush’s Abiba, Tabac 28, Poivre 23, and Hinoki & Cedarwood by Jo Malone. I also wear a lot of Kuumba Egyptian musk oil, amber oil, or Nemat nag champa oil.

Supposed notes:

Top Notes: Orange blossom, bergamot, pink pepper

Heart Notes: Tuberose, jasmine sambac, lily of the valley

Base Notes: Amber, musk, vanilla

Also open to suggestions based on my current rotation.

I was shocked to see how much perfume my local Marshall's has. I stood there and sniffed longer than I am willing to admit. Blind bought both Fine'ry perfumes and love them both, but especially the Rose Lina.

Do you see any on the shelf that are a must have?

Kinda steamed its LE and online only. I HATE blind buying Gourmond scents as a Gourmond girly. All the reviews look so dishonest, because so many have the notes on it like a list of points an influencer has to make. I would love to test it out in store and tell if it has a lemon sugar note like all the reviews say it does. If it does that would be so amazing since the only lemon scent I like is the Sabrina Carpenter one, so far.

Also wtf is going on with that Dove EDP? I didn't expect so many people to wanna smell like soap. 😅
