Some spring creek slabs to round out the season
Plenty of dinks on dry flies, but the pigs were on leather leaches

I couldn’t stay away from the water so I found a window to get out there today. At one point I caught 3 bass on 3 casts but my favorite was this little guy on a jerk bait.

Have to weed through the blackmouth to get the chums but they sure are fun to catch.

Want to start sharing this project and getting feedback. Fish WA sucks and all hunting down flow info and river intel is a pain in the ass so i vibe coded this thing up. Feel free to reach out with any feedback, feature requests or local info i may have gotten wrong.
Cheers

I was wondering if lake Lois in Lacey right Next to the senior center has good bass. I was also wandering if it dries up serious amounts and kills the fish. Thanks

I was wandering if there was bass fishing opportunities here or if it dries up during the summer so the fish die? thanks

Hey does anyone have any brand/model squid fishing rods that are super light and ultra sensitive recommendations for me?
I’m getting older and the jigging of the wrist is starting to hurt. So looking for something softer and easier on the wrist action.
I heard most say use fly fishing rods???
Thanks in advance!

Has anyone had any success squidding in area 8-2? I’m on a boat, and am able to go day or night. I can also get to 8-1 and 9 but prefer 8-2 for proximity. If you’re willing to share a spot or depth or bottom geography to look for I’d be very appreciative!

Temperature is getting chillier but the rock soles haven't gotten deep yet.

OK, not sure where else to put this, but this seems like the only logical choice really.
My uncle, who I grew up salmon fishing with, passed a few months ago. The other day I was sort of consolidating his fishing gear into mine after the season was over, setting aside some lures and what not that I specifically remember, as sort of "keepsakes".
And I tossed this one in with some of my stuff, and almost didn't think anything of it.
It doesn't look homemade, and maybe my googling is just failing me, but I can't find a single thing about it online.
On the back of the spinner it appears to read "BANG TAIL".
And of course, beer for scale.

Been wanting to try squid fishing at one of the piers in Seattle. I got some jigs but want to hear from the community if anyone is catching right now?

I’ll go ahead and the chorus of newbies here. Caught my first silver earlier this year at MA11 from the beach. Looking to stretch out the season as long as possible. Are there still silvers in the salt or have they all moved to freshwater? I was waiting from the northern sound populations to move south to Tacoma but seems like that never happened. Are there still silvers to be caught in MA 11, 12 or 13??
Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Hi everyone! I’m starting a small kayak business and researching how storage and transportation affect people’s ability to get on the water.
If you’re based in the U.S., I’d love your honest feedback—even if storage isn’t a problem for you. The survey takes about 1 minute, with no sales pitch.

Hey guys!
I live in the Seattle area and have been fishing at places nearby since I started fishing a couple months ago. But recently I took a short trip to Alder Lake, and it was amazing. The lake was beautiful, the area was quiet, and the fish were biting. So now I'm looking for suggestions like that. Good fishing spots that are far out enough to be able to avoid most of the city pressure, but close enough for short day / one night trips. I don't have a boat so places with good shore access are preferred but I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks!

I’ve been fishing for coho and haven’t caught one all season. I’ve tried river and salt and got 3 small kings. My preference is salt as that’s what I know from fishing on the east coast but I’m willing to try anything.
No boat so I’m stuck on land. Even though I’m discouraged and may end up having to wait until next year, I’d appreciate any advice.
