Other It is with great regret I inform you that I have had to turn on reputation filtering.

1.1k Upvotes

Hi Folks,

There has been an influx of repost bots on the sub recently. While I would normally object to any form of post filtering, it has become necessary.

I will be tweaking it to requirements so if your post gets slapped down by it, send us a message and we can look into it for you.

A big thank you to the people who report these bots every day. Rest assured, they are being banned on sight but I am a mere mortal and they seem to be the proverbial Hydra - no matter how many heads I chop, more doth rise.

Thanks for listenin'

Mod

Weird/Random Strange message on playing card

Strange message on a playing card caught in a chain link fence on a back road. I don't know who it's for but I think this is directed at a specific person. I probably wasn't supposed to find this considering it isent in a very traversed area.

Someone marked the chapters of a single book with these. Note the special care taken to keep the legs intact. :D

Weird/Random Found on my walk today.

Found this on my walk this morning. I showed my husband and he doesn’t think this is really from 1994. I thought it was interesting and I was curious to see what Reddit had to say. If it is from 1994, I want to know how it stayed in good condition.

Weird/Random Weird post-it drawing found by our bed.

3.7k Upvotes

As the title says. Found in our bedroom, next to my side of the bed. Not made by me, my wife or my daughter (drawing and writing is way too sophisticated for my daughter). No idea how it got there, what the drawing is in reference to, or anything else.

Some of the most incredible things live written on the torn scraps of paper that didn't make it into the trash. They can be love letters, thoughts, quotes or a pertinent to-do list. The only rule is that you found it somewhere (on the ground, a public table or between the cans of soup at the store, so long as it isn't publicly posted!) and you don't know who wrote it. Anonymous and out of the blue is great!
