A Spooky, Dark-Humored Halloween Read Set in Germany!
Hi everyone,
Looking for a quick, spooky read to get into the Halloween spirit? I’m the author of this short story, and it is currently available for 100% free download on Amazon Kindle+ (no subscription required, it’s a standard free promo for a limited time!).
About the book:
During Carnival, all noses are red. And some hunters become the prey.
For fifteen years, Micha has waited for this exact moment. Finally free, he blends into the roaring crowds of the Cologne Carnival, disguised beneath the mask of a white-haired vampire. His goal: the perfect prey. When he spots young, fragile Uschi dressed in an innocent ladybug costume, his dark, sadistic hunting instincts are instantly triggered.
He masterfully lures her away from the deafening noise of the crowded pubs, guiding her into the pitch-black, secluded shadows surrounding the ancient Romanesque church of Sankt Pantaleon. But just as he corners her against the cold stone walls to finish what he started, Micha is forced to learn a crucial lesson: on this festive night, he is far from the most dangerous predator roaming the historic streets of Cologne…
An atmospheric short story from Germany with dark humor, rich local folklore, and a supernatural twist you won't see coming.

This is the most influential single work in the Western magical tradition — a comprehensive Renaissance that organizes centuries of esoteric knowledge into one coherent system. Agrippa defines magic not as superstition, but as "the absolute perfection of philosophy" — the highest science that unites nature, the stars, and the divine.

Wayward Stars is a sci-fi, space opera novel written by me. It will be free on Amazon Kindle from October 27th until the 31st. This is my first published work, if it seems interesting to you then please give it a read!
###
Fifteen years of war have ravaged the known galaxy. Two alien species, the Karians and the Rilesians, are locked in a grinding deadlock that kills thousands by the day. Captain Khalur is the youngest officer in the Karian Imperial Fleet and the son of one of its greatest war heroes. Though a steadfast soldier, the realities of war and ghosts from his past will soon force him to re-evaluate everything he’s fought for and believed in.
Rayla Cezares is a low-ranking recruit in the Rilesian Defense Force. Though a patriotic defender of her people, she carries with her an origin that has left her an outcast among her own kind. A simple skirmish gone tragically wrong is primed to alter the course of her destiny.
Wayward Stars is the story of two worlds colliding, of unity and reconciliation in the face of enduring conflict and mutual prejudice. Unlikely comrades will be found amidst dire circumstances and long-held allegiances will be questioned. The course of history will be altered forever by two who were once mere cogs in the machine of endless war.

I wrote a book if any one is a fan of sci-fi with emotion.
Elias Marrow's reflection starts moving before he does. He thinks he's losing his mind. He's actually losing the boundary between realities.
Pulled from London into Vasthaven — a city built on the scar of a dimensional wound — he discovers he's a living bridge between worlds, carrying a crystal older than the universe, hunted by beings made of broken reflections that feed on unresolved grief.
It's Book One of a series I've been working on for a while — multiverse, found family, some proper body-horror-adjacent creature design, and a slow-burn emotional core around grief and identity rather than pure action.
Would genuinely appreciate any eyes on it. Happy to answer questions about the worldbuilding in the comments.

Hello everyone!
Just a quick heads-up that the promotional period is ending soon! The Kindle eBook version of my guide, "The Forensic Mindset: Insider Strategies for Legal Case Simulations", is available for free download only until this Wednesday.
If you haven't grabbed your copy yet, now is the time!
Written for law students, criminology learners, and criminal justice enthusiasts, this text explores the architectural blueprint behind mock cases (featuring insights from "The Riverside Apartment" simulation). It focuses on breaking down cognitive biases, separating direct observations from inferences, and decoding digital footprint traps in modern jurisprudence.
Note: This guide serves as the methodological foundation for our hands-on legal simulations. If you wish to practice these methods with the concrete scenario, you can explore the companion paperback editions available on Amazon: the "Forensic Evidence Analysis: Student Workbook (Case 01)" and the "Complete Answer Key & Model Reasoning".
I would love to hear your professional thoughts and feedback. Enjoy developing your legal reasoning!

There’s a date in 1938 that I keep coming back to: October 1.
Earlier that year, Hitler had ordered the German military to prepare for an attack on Czechoslovakia. The preparations had to be ready by October 1 at the latest.
In September, Czechoslovakia ordered a general mobilization. Reservists reported for duty, troops moved toward defensive positions, and commanders prepared to defend the country’s borders.
Then came the Munich Agreement.
On October 1, instead of fighting the German invasion they’d prepared for, the Czechoslovaks had to begin evacuating the very territory they had mobilized to defend.
The same date. Two completely different outcomes.
And what strikes me is that Czechoslovakia still lost much of what it had prepared to fight for. The border defenses couldn’t simply be moved somewhere else. The consequences were very real, even though the expected battle never happened.
I’ve become increasingly interested in this side of military history.
We read so much about battles that changed the world. But what about the armies that assembled, the invasions that were planned, and the countries that prepared for fighting that never came?
Sometimes the preparations themselves changed history.
That’s what led me to write The Battles That Never Came.
It covers 15 real episodes, including Napoleon’s preparations to invade Britain, Germany’s abandoned plans for Operation Sea Lion, and the enormous American and Japanese preparations for an invasion of Japan in 1945.
It’s not alternate history. I’m interested in what people actually knew, what they were preparing for, and what happened instead.
I’ve made the Kindle version free today, October 26, if anyone here wants to read it:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HP6H16HB
If you read any of it, I’d genuinely be interested to hear which case surprised you most.
And if you feel like leaving an honest star rating on Amazon after reading, I’d really appreciate it. No obligation at all.
