I urgently need your tips, because I felt so exhausted after a long day. Thus, drinking energy drinks "mostly" is toxic for my health, and I don't want to cause health problems about it.

I'm literally studying for an Oral Recitarion (MOINA) on 25 muscles by next week😭

Imagine you only have two hours left to study and several lessons to review. Would you watch videos, answer practice questions, reread your notes, or do something else?

It’s been a few weeks I’ve noticed, no matter how early I wake up ( sometimes at 4am) I still am late for my class. Sometimes I’m so late I just skip it. Today also I’ve missed 1st class. I used to miss the whole day before but now I manage to go for rest of classes. It’s not just in case of studies but overall Time management. I used to be always before time but now I don’t know what has happened. Specially these days it’s worse because winters have started.

Also, coffee isn’t working on me. I seriously don’t know wht to do. This is leading me to procrastinate as well. It’s worst time for this to happen because I have exams in 5days

I've got an open textbook exam tomorrow, one of the most scoring kinds of exams. I especially need to do well in it because its for a subject that I tend to do bad in.

But today just had to be the day where me and my friend get into a huge arguement, many words were said. I feel very hurt, and the thing about me is once one thing gets in my head, all my other worries stack up on top of it and I end up having a really bad mental situation. I'm litterally still crying over it, its like evening and I have to leave to school for the exam early tomorrow. I've been sitting at my desk trying to start but my thoughts constantly drift back to the arguement. I try to distract myself by watching shows or reading or whatever but all that really does is remove more potential study time. I'm so frustrated at myself.

If any of you have advice it will very much be appreciated. I need to study. I have to score, but my brains like such a mess.

got it back thursday and i wanted to disappear fr. went through it line by line and sorted every point i lost (29 total) into piles
12 points: i genuinely didn’t know it. fine, that’s what studying is for
11 points: dumb stuff. misread the question, dropped a negative sign, forgot to finish a step
6 points: knew how to do it, ran out of time
so 17 of the 29 were stuff that was already in my head. i did 20 hours of “learn more things” when what i needed was slow down, check my work and practice with a clock
next exam i’m making a checklist for the dumb pile and doing at least one practice test timed.

How can I study more than 10 hours ?

I have lost myself , when I was in class 12th I used to study more than 10 hours but now I am not hitting that , i am trying a lot , can someone guide me or give any tips and advice.

Actually tbh this neet shit had ruiened my life I have lost everything my girlfriend, friends everything if I didn't clear the exam this year them my younger brother and me will be on the same platform everyone had gone ahead of me , it feels like prision

Anything about academics can be discussed there.

I recently got done doing a exam and I finished it really early compared to other students and I was really confident in getting a 90+ grade but I was only humbled and was given a 88. I don't get it because even if its a passing grade, I was wondering what I got wrong because I'm able to explain the information and deeper explanations of topics to other people and my teachers even say thatI explained it correctly but for some reason I didn't get the grade I wanted. I'm still happy with an 88 but has anyone ever felt like this?

I deleted instagram and tiktok a qhile ago so i can start focusing nore on studying, but i feel like it actually got worst. I used to study more when i had them downloaded.

So my morning goes to school, afternoon goes to rest, evening goes to either playing outside a bit + helping work of house, or unexpected chores nearly daily + using mobile inbetween. So I need to build a system where near end of the day, I can sit down and study straight for 2-3 hours, but the problem is that the whole day either tires me out or my brain is too filled up from dopamine. So the thing is I know I should study inbetween the works and school but I just cant do it, the only window I see where I can is after 6 or 7 pm, before I go bed at 10-11. So the main thing I want is somehow say F the day and just work constantly 2-3 hours and not waste multiple days just because of life.

i want to revise physics chapters from units and dimensions till rotational motion

in chemistry i want to revise mole concept till equilibrium

if i take one day per chapter to revise everything (questions dpps class notes but one chapter per day that is 1 day 1 chapter of physics another day another chapter of chemistry like this ) is this okay to do ? do i still have time to revise like this or will it be too late ?

bio i can revise , chemistry and physics i will revise current chapters daily with lectures the problem is with these starting chapters which i have procrastinated and not revised or practiced

pls someone help and guide !!! 🙏🏻

I'm getting no where

I thought lectures might help but none of them cover robbins, all of them are Superficial. Can someone pls advice me as to how I'm suppose to tackle it or suggest me subscriptions or yt channels which cover robbins so that my basics are clear. I don't wanna miss Robin cause I've heard people regret it later during their 3rd,4th year

Hi everyone,

I'm in my first semester of a bachelor's in Engineering Science and I'm really struggling with math.

The weird thing is that I usually understand the formulas when I read them in the lecture notes. But when I get an exercise, I don't know which formula to use or how to start. Once someone gives me the first step, I can usually follow along.

How did you learn to recognize which method fits a problem? Any study techniques, books or YouTube channels that helped you?

Thanks!

as the title suggests im currently in 12th grade and this year is important for me, ive always been a bit laid back with my studies and dont take them as serious i have very average grades but this year i want and need to do as good as i can obviously. i dont study much so i would like to see if theres any strategy behind it and if so i can be introduced to them to make this year way better for myself so id appreciate if anyone could help with that. i have time for around an hour to 30 minutes of studying on normal days and probably around 3 hours on days where i have for example an exam or something like that. i cant really get tutored and i guess ive had a weakness of memorizing things fast or keeping track of theory, i am an architecture student also if theres any specific tips for that. i would also love some tips on how to stay consistent/motivate myself or tips on how i can look forward to studying. thanks for the help!

I don't have anything specific, although in winter I love having hot chocolate when studying!! What about you?

Might have phrased it incorrectly but I recently gave my mid term exams and I now when I open my math book to start studying again it feels like I’ve forgotten everything, so is there an effective way to relearn what I’ve already studied especially for a subject like maths

I am curious as to how people can retain information, the problem for me is that I want to try new study styles every now and then but also I tend to forget the information I read the day after I study it. Also, I can’t get to make flashcards as it “slows down” my schedule due to our curriculum being fast paced. I also tend to try to want to remember all information as much as possible in one pass but I can’t.

Started university some months ago and I have calculus and another math class going. I need to study multiple hours just to understand and complete a few exercises. After I’m done studying I’m mentally exhausted and can’t relax and enjoy my evening. I’m not that good at math to begin with but I try.

I want to improve myself.please help

This silly method has actually helped me a lot, so I thought I'd share!
This quarter I have several classes which have hundreds of terms to memorize... naturally, I made flashcards, but I always dreaded reviewing them because I had so many. I found a pack of Minion stickers I haven't gotten around to using in my desk. I decided in order to motivate myself I would put a minion sticker on the flashcards I felt I had memorized, and it actually makes me excited to review the flashcards in hopes that I'll earn myself more stickers😭 Hopefully by the end of the quarter I'll run out of stickers!

Hi! Anyone want to study online with me? I need motivation and accountability 🥲. I'm thinking of starting with a study group of about 15 people so you can hop on whenever you want to study. Subject/age doesn't matter. As for me, I'll generally be studying during the day (PT).
