​Hey everyone in the Gift of Games community! I hope you're all having a great week. Today I’m reaching out to humbly request Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition.

​I am so hyped to play this game since I've somehow managed to stay almost completely blind to it all these years. Aside from seeing a few random trailers online and hearing people constantly rave about how amazing Night City is, I barely know anything about the main story, the characters, or how any of the gameplay actually works.

​I’ve always been a massive fan of massive open-world RPGs, and for me, nothing beats that feeling of diving into a gigantic new world without knowing what to expect. There is just something so cool about stepping into a brand new city for the very first time, getting lost in the streets, and discovering all the different mechanics, factions, and character builds completely on my own as I go along.

​I’ve been itching for a huge new game to really sink my teeth into, and from everything I’ve heard, the Ultimate Edition is the absolute best way to jump in since it includes the base game along with the Phantom Liberty expansion and all those massive updates. I would love nothing more than to finally build my own merc and experience this entire journey completely fresh without any spoilers.

Hello, I've recently gotten into CS2, never played CS:GO before it transferred into CS2, but I've been greatly enjoying it much to my surprise.

Put simply, I was not aware of the fact that CS2 has a premium tier seperate from the traditional Valve tier. On Steam if you pay $5 at any point you unlocked a 'premium' tier generally, which lets you get drops in things like TF2, and get invited to playtest like Deadlock. I did not know CS2 had a separate $15 tier that applied exclusively towards it.

I'm just curious if this would be a viable, legal request here. It's not a request for an in-game item like Crates, keys, weapon skins, etc. Though it is in-game and one of the benefits does involve weekly drops (not what I'm interested in, I want to be able to earn XP and actually play the real game)

What is Cyberpunk 2077?

Essentially an open world game set in a dystopian cyberpunk future based off a tabletop game of the same name. Developed by CD Projekt Red, same people who made the Witcher game series.

Why do I want Cyberpunk 2077?

For one, I absolutely love loooove open world games. I feel like they are all very much well worth your money due to near limitless playability. Even more so with mods, think like how Skyrim still gets replayed SO so much despite being over a decade old and being janky as all hell.

Second, I have a mild obsession with cyberpunk dystopian settings. From the aesthetics and how its a potential "what if" possibility for our current world. I mean, granted, real life is a lot less cool and aesthetic, but its both a fun and terrifying thought.

Third, I've wanted this game since like... the pandemic, before its released. I was actually so hyped for the game and followed it obsessively. Once it was released, I was basically unable to get and play it for a myriad of reasons.

Why cant I buy it myself?

To keep it short and vague to avoid getting doxxed. I am currently a soon-to-graduate student in the Philippines, supporting my grandmother and younger siblings with my minimum wage salary (parents no longer alive). Even at the discounted rate, it's a very steep purchase for me and recently had to deal with a brief medical scare with one of my siblings (they're fine don't worry) and the insane increased charges on our electricity bill. So it's been tough.

Hello everyone. Hope you are having fun.

Have you ever craved a title so much, but still were unsure about experiencing it for various reasons? This is the feeling I have for most horror games, very old video game titles and point-and-click games. Weirdly, "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" is a title with all of them combined (and even a dash of Cyberpunk, it seems, which again I'm not a big fan of).

But despite all this, I have taken a liking to this game. I'm not really into the horror genre. They were really scary for me when I was younger, and now, they don't seem to scare me at all (unless there are jump scares). So, I always have this question in my mind: is it worth playing another one? I can't find a straight answer to that question.

And very old video games are usually aged badly. Their out-of-date gameplay is off-putting. But "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" has simple Point-and-Click gameplay. Can it really age badly? I'm not sure.

And for Point-and-Click games, I have played a few, but none of them really captivated me the same way "Monkey Island" has. Looking at the gameplay of "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream", it seems this title can have the same effect on me.

But more than anything, the atmosphere and seemingly philosophical and psychological aspects of "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" are what make it a top-notch experience. These are what I love about my entertainment titles.

Adding all of them together makes "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" a curious title for me. It has the potential to either satisfy or disappoint me. Because of that, I want someone else to decide if I should play it or not.

It's on sale now for an 85% discount. In my region, it's only $0.86 USD. I don't know how gifting to other regions works, but I hope it doesn't cost too much for the gifter if anyone decides to gift me this title, so I can have a special experience for this year's Halloween.

Ive never played a COD game. simple as that. the last few have seemed mediocre, however this one? its somehow gotten my interest.

buuuuuuut its almost 100$ here and i cant afford that right now as ive lost my main income due to the change of seasons. cant really work at an outdoor garden when its -2 degrees out that well.

Usually, my interests in terms of games are more milsim-y, i "enjoy" tarkov, lots of arma, arc raiders, but a couple more faster paced games like trapang2 or ultrakill. i also play a lot of flight simulators, such as VTOL VR and (rarely, its expensive af) DCS. ive never played any cod games. ever. the last one looked mid. previous ones looked okay, but this one seems nice. ive heard good things about it, and the campaign looks really fun. of course, the gun play looks almost exactly the same as previous, maybe its smoother, who knows.

so this leaves me in a tricky place. i dont really love the idea of begging for video games, but i cant get this game off my mind. seems like this is worth a shot. anyways, thats all from me. hopefully i dont pop up here again.

a friend of mine suggested this game and was surprised by its story and told me id like it very much.

the game seems to have multiple endings and allows you to make your own choices, making you learn from your mistakes and pick your own role in the game making yourself the good guy or the bad guy.

it has balanced- hard puzzles that allow you to actually think and use your brain making this game get in your head and therefore becoming memorable.

The villain is a AI that has a deep hatred of humans which is a topic that i think is so important in the present that we live in rn. it will be fun to try and see how a machine can think and evolve “hate”. nowadays alot of people seem to have controversial opinions on artificial intelligence and its impressive that a game that is supposed to be old bring such a modern topic to the table, making it one of a kind. its the kind of game that might have aged graphics and controls but its memorable for the story it tells you

reviewers seem to like the story and the characters very much and say its very memorable and satisfying. its a point and click kind of game so the mechanics are quite easy and let you be more involved in the story without having to think about complicated controls. i have previously played point and click games and although they can be fun and interesting not alot of them can actually be memorable so im excited to give this one a try

for this halloween season i was looking for a game thats different from the usual phasmophobia or repo and this one seems like the perfect pick!

Hi everyone!

Today I'd like to request WARDOGS on Steam.

I've had my eye on this game for a while because I'm a huge fan of multiplayer games where teamwork actually matters. I really enjoy large-scale battles, tactical gameplay and those matches where everything can change depending on how well your team communicates and works together.

WARDOGS immediately caught my attention because it seems to combine a lot of things I enjoy in multiplayer shooters: big battles, vehicles, destruction, different roles on the battlefield and a strong focus on playing as a team instead of just running around trying to get as many kills as possible.

One of the things I enjoy the most about this kind of game is that every match can create its own little stories. Sometimes you're defending an objective with barely anyone left, sometimes you're pushing forward with your whole team, and sometimes everything goes completely wrong in the funniest possible way. Those are usually the multiplayer games I end up spending the most time with.

Unfortunately, buying new games isn't really something I can justify very often at the moment. Games can also be pretty expensive where I live, so I usually have to be selective about what I purchase. Because of that, I thought I'd try making a request here.

I'm not expecting anything, of course, but if someone happens to have a spare copy or feels like gifting me WARDOGS, I'd be incredibly grateful. It's definitely a game I'd actually play and put a good amount of time into.

Hello everyone of GoG! Today i try again, with my 23rd attempt at requesting The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, a game made by the creators (and most speficially writers) of the danganronpa series, a franchise i hold close to my heart, due to it having accompanied me growing up.

What exactly is the game about? The game is a visual novel with one hundred endings, all different and unique, unlike other games like nier automata, that had one ending per letter of the alphabet, with the vast majority of them being one off jokes. No, this game has 100 different and fleshed out endings supposedly, with a couple being the main ones, however each one is way more than just a couple lines thrown in, as the game's premise revolves exactly around all the choices you can make to reach these different outcomes.

That's not all however, unlike almost every visual novel, it features actual gameplay, with a fire emblem-like strategical approach, also seen in the likes of 13 sentinesl aegis rim. The point of the game is to often let your units die, unlike in fire emblem where you want to play as conservatively as possible.

Its uniqueness is also displayed in the classic danganronpa-esque artstyle, very futuristic, cyberpunk-y and digital, shown in the game's ui and overall presentation/music. It has a very "acidic" vibe, rough around the edges, not somethinj that's made to appeal to everyone.

I still remember seekng the reveal trailer during the "e3" presentation time of 2024, during a nintendo direct. I've unfortunately never been able to buy it myself as the game has a standard pricing, almost never goes on sale, and when it does it doesn't go on a steep one, as the game nearly bankrupt the studio and even after a year and a half they can't price it too low, which is the reason why i, as an university student, have not been able to experience it.

Seeing how danganronpa 2x2 comes out soonish, my interested in the game came back even more, I'd just love to play it as a massive fan of the original trilogy of danganronpa 1, 2 and v3, with v3 being one of my favorite games ever due to its amazing ui design, music, story and writing, and also overarching theme of lies.

Hello, this is my first time requesting a game. I am looking to play Wolverine. I’ve been excited since the trailer was released and have been looking forward to it despite mixed reviews.

WHAT IS WOLVERINE?
Wolverine is a Marvel character (Mutant) known for his adamantium claws and healing factor w/ a rough backstory. On the ps5 it’s a linear hack and slash game loosely based on his comic history. It’s also another title in the Insomniac-verse who gave us Spider-Man 1, Miles Morales, and Spider-Man 2 which are some of my top rated games of this console generation.

WHY WOLVERINE?
He’s the best there is bub! I’ve always been a huge fan of Wolverine even before the Xmen movies. As a kid I used to watch the X-men cartoon show right along side the animated Spider man show. He was the first action figure my biological dad gave me as a kid. I used to collect marvel trading cards as well and wolverines card arts always pulled me in.

One of my favorite childhood games is X-2 Wolverines revenge. I spent countless hours sneaking around the military bases, and had countless dreams of being chased by the Wendigo 😆. I was also fascinated with the ability to pop his claws out and retract them anytime I wanted to. They nailed the comic book vibes when it came to the costumes.

In a time where most games are open world, or being a remaster I really appreciate a classic story driven game. I enjoy single player games where it’s just me trying to survive waves of enemies with great cutscenes to tie it all in together. Something that doesn’t require online. I also am the type to replay a story because I am genuinely a fan. Despite mixed reviews on anything if I like it there’s not much those opinions can do to change my mind.

WHY AM I UNABLE TO BUY WOLVERINE?
This last year my health has declined and I’m not able to work as much due to my condition. I was working when they announced it and right before the preorders I had to step down. Lately I’ve been in a slump since, and really just wanting something to get me excited again despite all of what’s going on. If I am gifted I would love to be able to stream it or SharePlay it with said person in a party and talk about the game or other things related to Wolverine. I’m pretty chatty and enjoy nerding out.

Hello GoG community!! The game I'm requesting today is Factorio. It's a bit of a long read, so buckle in!

I'll start with a bit of a backstory first. I moved away to college in August, much earlier than most of my friends. Since I use a windows laptop to play games, I was able to take it with me. My best friend just moved to a different college two weeks ago. He had a fancy gaming desktop, so he ended up not taking it with him and now uses a mac instead. Why is this an issue? Well, the main game we play together is The Binding of Isaac and unfortunately repentence+ is not available on mac. When Outlast Trials went 90% off we both bought it to play together because it was so cheap, only to find out that we couldn't because it also can't run on mac.

Recently, he has been playing a lot of Factorio, and wants me to play co-op with him. I would love to join, but 35 dollars is way too expensive now that I'm living on my own. It also never goes on sale which is unfortunate for people who don't have much money to spare for fun stuff :(

I have played the demo and had a blast. I understand why people call it Cracktorio now, because even with just the demo I'm thinking about it while I'm not playing lol. I'm not sure how to describe it other than happy brain chemicals. Apart from the demo, the closest game experience I have had is the Create mod in Minecraft. While I enjoyed it, I feel like the 3D aspect of Minecraft just isn't as enjoyable for me compared to a 2D game.

Something that Factorio reminds me of is the cover of a book I had in my childhood called "See Inside How Things Work" by Conrad Mason. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links other than for games and profiles, so if you're interested in seeing it just look up the title. It's basically a loop of some sort of factory that produces little balls. I used to read through this book all the time, along with "The Way Things Work" and "The New Way Things Work," both of which are written by David Macaulay. These two are less related to production in factories, but instead show how many parts work together to be a product. It's interesting to see how everything works together to reach a goal, and in this way it connects back to Factorio. These books played a significant role in my childhood and I think they may be part of the reason why Factorio clicks with me.

If you end up being the generous person who gifts Factorio to me, I want you to know that I will make the most of it. I'm a bit of a completionist, so I will definitely be going for 100% regardless of how long it takes. Plus, with the new Steam achievement system, I'll be able to 100% even without the Space Age DLC. However, I will probably get the DLC later anyways as a Christmas gift to myself once the semester ends in December. I heard it has a lot more content than the base game too, so it'll be really fun!

I really want to play Keep Driving because it looks like the kind of game I could spend hours enjoying. I love the atmosphere, the road trip concept, and the feeling of being able to escape into another world for a while. I think it could become one of my comfort games, something I could come back to whenever I want to relax and take my mind off everyday stress.

Unfortunately, my family is on a low income, so I can’t easily afford to buy every game I’m interested in. Even though I really want to experience Keep Driving, spending money on games isn’t always an option for me. I have a Steam Deck, and I’ve been wanting to find more games that I can enjoy on it, especially ones that are relaxing and immersive.

What interests me most about Keep Driving is how different it feels from typical games. I like the idea of going on a journey, discovering new things along the way, and enjoying the experience at my own pace. I feel like this is the kind of game that would bring me a lot of happiness, especially during times when I need something to help me unwind.

Gaming is one of the ways I relax and take a break from the stress of everyday life. I don’t need an expensive or flashy game to have a good time; sometimes, a simple game with a great atmosphere is all I need. I believe Keep Driving could give me that experience.

basically i wanna try my luck in getting clair obscur exp 33 as i am astonished with how great the game is especially as a semi-indie game. Now im not gonna say i have watched hours of walkthroughs/streams of the game to fully understand the game mechanics since i like to go in completely blind and always find it more enjoying.... although that does not mean i have not seen reviews and goty hype around it a year ago when it came out.. Also as far as ik its a turn based rpg (me likey) with some reaction mechanics which seems pretty interesting. Also since i am pretty good (terrible) at french maybe i would better enjoy the scores in it
Now although story is linear i hear its a pretty well made story and has a good few hours to be sunk into, I like to play everything solo and fully so im really thorough with it.. now as much as i love old games i feel likw this is smtg special like bg3 and it would be a tragedy just watching a playthrough of it .

Hello and good day to all. I'm gonna give this one last attempt because I don't wanna hyper spam. Third time's the charm and all that!

Ocarina of Time is a game i would assume needs no introduction, but just to be safe, it's the first 3D game in the Zelda series and one of the most influential games ever. It recently got a remake annouced for the Switch 2, dramatically overhauling the visuals and updating the gameplay, which is what this post is about.

For some history, OoT is a game that's been in my life for the vast majority of my time on earth. It really helped me get through a rough part of my young life, but more than that, it really made me learn to savor games instead of just playing them for the sake of playing them, if that makes sense.

I would spend HOURS AND HOURS getting lost in the world, trying to find all the pieces of heart and gold skulltulas, and all the item upgrades and bottles. I never got 100%, because I was Young when I first played it, but I remember finally beating it and feeling like I had actually just finished an adventure of a life time. Then I did it all again on Master Quest, shocked that there was a whole other game to experience (I had the GameCube version from a family friend)

So when the remake was annouced, obviously i was DEEPLY excited, and also curious. How would this new version stack up to the original, a game i thought couldn't really be touched? After the recent preview events, I realized how, and my excitement grew even further. The art design is genuinely superb, and seeing all the new little flourishes and additions tickles my brain in the right ways

More than that though, it's a new version of one of my favorite and most cherished games, and I really want to play it because I know on a base level I'm going to deeply enjoy it.

So here's the thing: I do have a good chunk of it already covered, spare eShop funds i had accumulated for a bit for this if it ended up looking good, but I'm just short of the finish line and IRL circumstances mean I have to be a bit frugal going forward (a sudden phone bill for our family being the prime culprit). $20 would cover the rest I need to ensure i have it day one, which would really genuinely make my month.

I promise to absolutely savor the experience, getting the 100% i was never able to get as a young kid, including Master Quest if that's still included. This is a game dear to me and I fully intend to let this hold me over until the end of the year.

Again, not entirely sure this is allowed, so if mods wanna delete it then by all means, but I figured I'd shoot my shot and try. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post, and have an excellent day!

Today I was scrolling through steam looking at games I can’t afford and I saw gta 5 enhanced was on sale for 15 euros

15 euros on paper is not that much but to me is enough to feed a family of 5 (speaking from experience, it’s basically 3 mid sized pizzas in my country)

Reasons as to why I want it:

I’ve been drooling over gta 5 ever since it came out, but growing up in a middle class family in a small country, my parents never got me a console or pc to play it, but back in 2021 I’ve received a ps3 slim from a family friend and I’ve played gta 5 first time and ever since I’ve finished it like 3 times on my console and on my 2nd play through on my pc that I’ve saved up for years, I’ve always wanted to play gta 5 on my pc to experience the game on good graphics and not 720p resolution on 30fps

But most of all I wanna play GTA online, I’ve played it for sometime on ps3 before they shut it down, now that gta 6 is literally DAYS away I want to play gta online until they release gta 6 online and when I can afford gta 6 (2080 🙏 /s)

Oh also I always wanted to play those online races they looked so fun back in 2016
