Hi all!

Welcome to a new fortnightly post!

In this post's comments, please feel free to upload your examples of your hallmarks which you find to be unusual, rare, or simply a piece of precious metal you want to show-off to the rest of us!

No judgement - maybe you're new to hallmarks or have collected for a long time, everyone is welcomed!

Please do not use this post to request hallmark identity! You can still post regular posts for that.

Hi, might be silver, but I’m not sure and I’m struggling to identify these hallmarks. There might be an 800 to the south east of the crown? Any help would be massively appreciated!

Looks like a Spanish post 1934 star but can’t make out the maker hallmark at all on this crystal decanter. Any help appreciated !

DECOR Any id on this makers mark? No doubt EPNS. My research suggests Art Nouveau / Jugendstil (circa 1900–1910) with the chained Griffins and flowing haired maidens. Came up well after a good polish (see last few photos). And yes there’s a difference between tarnish and patina.

JEWELRY & WATCHES Art Nouveau 9C Pendant - help identifying makers mark

I am trying to identify this art nouveau pendant for my work. It's in 9 karat gold, the use of "9C" indicates British make but the only other marks are what looks like an H, some kind of symbol, and an N. It's not like other British gold pieces I've seen with hallmarks. Any help identifying would be appreciated!

Leaning toward Art Noveau period with the filigree detail and the garnet, but if anyone can further identify the hallmark, that’d be much appreciated!

I bought this ring today, looks like the hallmark is a Sheffield rose, a crown, 375 and Q which from my limited knowledge and research suggests 1990s(?), could anyone confirm? Any additional info re a potential deciphering of the makers mark would be much appreciated ! Thanks in advance.

OTHER Hey guys, my nan left me this walking stick and I'm wondering what the hallmarks are and also what it's made of. I think it's probably bone, but not sure.

The actual stick looks like it's made from bamboo and the head of the walking stick comes off and reveals a hidden small blade.

I found this ring at the thrift store; it has these hallmarks on the outside of the band, but nothing inside. Feels like silver to me, but not sure! What do you think these hallmarks mean?

JEWELRY & WATCHES Possible vintage, or even antique, gold Belcher-style ring

I've been trying to figure out the history of this ring, but no luck. Would love if someone has any information on the maker. The hallmarks I can see is a letter "T" in an upside down trapezoid and 10K. Nothing else.

It was in a jewelry box with other items like coins and pins that are dated from between the 1900s-1970s. And the jewelry box was in a drawer with pocket watches dating back to the late 1800s. Some of the items were from both Canada and the U.S. if that helps in any way.
