Sports Personal trainer in HD

I had an accident and i had a fracture two years ago. I need to restart doing exercise and building muscle but at least to start I’d like to do it with a personal trainer to avoid lesions and ensure I do the exercises correctly as well as keep me from giving up too soon. I can do it alone or with other people, it would be nice if the trainer could speak at least a bit of English but I think I could also do without.

Does anyone have any advice? Preferably closer to altstadt or neuenheim but again super open to explore a bit further away too.

Thanks for the help!

EDIT: corrected typos

Sports Archery in Heidelberg?

I'm moving to Heidelberg for a few months for an internship and wanted to pick up archery again. I generally shoot barebow (and I have for 3 years), but I wasn't able to bring my gear from back home and I haven't shot in about a year. I was wondering if there was both an archery shop nearby & a group I could join on rather short notice for a while. Thanks in advance for recs 😊

Sports Looking for volleyball clubs/groups

Hi everyone!

I have currently one week living in Heidelberg and was wondering if there's somewhere to train or make trials for volleyball teams. I found out that there was a team in university, but I think it's just women's team (not sure though). Any information regarding sport clubs (university or otherwise), Sporthallen or just casual meetings to play would be greatly appreciated.

I'm 19 and a male btw.

Sports Table tennis club

Hi,

Since winter is approaching, I thought it would be a good idea to join a club for table tennis. I’m an amateur and would like to join a club near Heidelberg. My German isn’t that great, would be nice if the club is welcoming and has internationals who speak English. any recommendations for a club near Heidelberg?

Sports How do you move?

I’ve been trying to look after myself a bit more lately than I ever have before, and I’ve noticed that a lot of people seem to be into running or rock climbing, and I don’t think either is really my thing. I suppose I also see some serious cyclists here and there, but for me, that’s a mode of transportation, not necessarily something I want to do for exercise. I’m also not the type to go to a fitness studio. And I’m also not a dancer by any measure.

I wouldn’t mind doing something that was a bit more social, but I’m also fine by myself. I’m just kind of wondering what’s out there that people enjoy that I could try in order to get a bit more active. Doesn’t have to be strenuous. I suppose there are a few places around here, fitness parks or indoor or outdoor playgrounds which are also suitable for adults, maybe some athletic associations, not sure what else.

I’m not really sure what it is I’m asking, but I’ll try to distill it down:

What do you do when you want to move? How do you prefer to be more active? If I were wandering through your neighborhood, where’s a good place I could go do some impromptu pull-ups, dips, dead hangs, etc? Does anyone know a group that organizes anything like a formal or informal meetup on the Neckarwiese for any sort of physical activity or games? Interesting or beautiful places to go for a walk, especially relatively central? Would anyone like some company? Where do you like to go and what do you like to do?

Sports Tennispartner gesucht

Hallo :)

Sports Kraulen statt Seerobbe

Moin Meisters,

Sports MTB with small kid

Hi everyone, I'm a mountain bike rider with a 4 year old I want to introduce more into the trails.

I used to go a lot to Königstuhl but I think those trails will scare my child. Do you have any suggestions about where to go?

I also don't have an E-Bike and I'll try to go so far from Rohrbach Surroundings. Do you know if it's also possible to ride with the bus and the bikes?

For now we are visiting the pump track near Hallenbad Hasenleiter and he loves the "trail" near the Weststadt Bannhoff

Thanks to all

Sports Heidelberg Football Friends

Hey y'all, I stumbled over multiple threads of people looking for a group that meets up for casual afterwork football. Since there seems to be no such group, I created a Telegram group "Heidelberg Football Friends"! (Reddit does not allow me to post the link, but you can use the search on Telegram to find it.)

Let's make this happen! Gut Kick!
