Use this as an opportunity to take a look at the recalls in your country so you do not have something in your home that should have been returned.

The IKEA website provides stock information when you select your store on the article page, please check there before posting. You can also sign up for back-in-stock notifications by email or SMS.
Stock check requests in the comments must include the following information:
Retail co-workers are not able to advise on availability for online orders. I have heard from a call centre co-worker that they are not able to check stock at the distribution centres either, and that only the IKEA website can provide this information by adding the item to the shopping cart, and seeing if a delivery option is available.

Does Ikea have a Black Friday sale in Canada? If yes, on average what %- is it on the lower end e.g 10-20% or more like 40-50%?

I’m installing a Kallboda dishwasher, and I’m stuck. I’m only on page 7 of 20! :)
I can’t work out what this diagram is trying to tell me.
The two L-shaped parts aren’t listed on the included parts page, and they aren’t on my dishwasher in the places shown.
Any suggestions on what to do next, other than move to page 8?

Found on the street… looks and sounds (?) like cast iron and is heavy enough to be cast iron, but when I looked up ‘IKEA FAVORIT’ I couldn’t see anything that resembled it and Gemini stated that the FAVORIT line only includes stainless steel / aluminium products.
We’re all very curious about it!
Is this a discontinued version? It was listed on vinted as ikea plant stand & I bought but the manual doesn't match the what I have? The seller said they bought it from Ikea?

Looking for advice (if there are any ways I have not thought of) of adding/connecting a height extension unit to my Billy shelf.
As you see, the ceiling is not high enough for me to lift the extension unit over the screws. I can not tip the Billy because it will not fit in a diagonal either, so what are my options? Was I supposed to have assembled the shelves before I mounted the ceiling? 😂

Doors are completely stuck. I can open/ close it, but they move as one door and it's pretty hard to open/close. Thanks on advance!
Question for SUNNERSTA organizer owners:
I am considering buying a SUNNERSTA organizer. However, I have 67 cm between the tabletop and the upper cabinet, while the official specifications say the maximum is 65 cm. Can I easily adjust it to 67 cm? Maybe I can just not screw the dummy plugs in too deep.

The instruction page This and all the example pictures I could find all want to have the cooktop unit either on the left or the right side but my kitchen layout in the rental dictates my cooktop to be place at the exact section and nowhere else. After reading the assembly instruction, I came to the conclusion that the boards would actually allow me to install the cooktop unit in the middle, only I would need one more thin sheet to block off the backing oven from the other unit section since there is only one sheet provided in the delivery.
I also found the mention on Ibiza's IKEA website, that the stove can be installed in the middle. Here. Now I am really confused, are those two different versions of the same cabinet? Can I install the stove in the middle or not?
One more question: In my apartment the pipes are exposed and the heating pipes run about 2.5cm away from the wall on the height from 7-12cm. is this above the structural board so I could make a cutout or do I have to find a way to anchor my cabinet a few cm away from the wall and also fill up the gap somehow?

Help! I assembled the ikea EKET and the door won’t close, it is just too far inside the cabinet but now I can’t remove the door and the door is also very close to the top so I can’t get a flat top screw driver in there

Does anyone have the VIHALS shelving? I need a favour. Could you please tell me the height of each of the lower three shelves?
The website chat box can’t help and I can’t get to a store just now.
Many thanks in advance!

Would the billy be less crooked if anchored slightly away from the wall? The assembler said there is some kind of wood on the edge of the carpet that makes the billy slanted.
If anchoring it slightly away makes it less slanted, i’ll get air tasker to re-anchor.

In my experience, it so difficult to find information on older IKEA products. To my knowledge, there no good archive or repository of IKEA‘s catalog or website through the years that documents the information and specs of how their current products have changed overtime, and I’ve discontinued products. Anyone know of one?
I was looking at my old LACK shelves today for the first time in a while (they’re in an out-of-the-way area of my home), and I had the thought, “wait, are these real wood veneer?” I had thought that the whole LACK series had always only been offered in the “wood look” foil melamine.
I’m a trained woodworker, so you’d think I’d be able to tell, but I also know there are a lot of laminate products out there that look really good and can fool ya. This looks much more real than what I’m used to on most IKEA wood-look products. The surface finish also felt different than what I’m used to on the melamine foil products; this looks and feels more like traditional lacquer on wood to me than those do.
My floating LACK shelves are a light wood (looks like maple) color-way. They are about 43” long. They are all pre-2012 for sure, but I actually think they (at least 3 out if the 5, but possibly all 5 of them), are from before 2008—or even as early as 2004! My parents were the original purchaser and they were in my bedrooms before I moved them to their current position. I am planning on moving them once again, but I’m not ready yet in terms of where my project is at.
I was planning on either painting them, or recovering them, to better match my project. However, if they are indeed real wood, I’m inclined to either leave them, or potentially refinish them.
Anyone got deep knowledge of the catalog from this 2000-2010 decade? (I have my old copies of the US catalog, but only as far back as 2009, I think.) Or the history of the LACK series? Know if it ever had real wood veneer?
(ps, maybe we need tags for “vintage ikea” or “product question“?)
I feel like I’m going insane here. After fully assembling the bed frame the drawers that came with it are too wide to fit in either of the slots. The black cross beam bracket is in the way. I’ve gone back over each step but can’t seem to figure it out. Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated!

I recently bought an IKEA Bestå unit and mounted it to the wall following the instructions; it looks like this, is this gap between the unit and the wall normal?
The board on top is not yet glued or mounted, which is why it is not level with the piece.

Just went to IKEA today and we're going down the Howdens route not too expensive but not cheap either but all a bit boring.
And then I saw this in IKEA (pictures attached).
Wow.This is me. Does anyone have any thoughts/experience of these units/worktops/sinks/colours etc in terms of how well they will last as I know darker colours can show marks a lot easier!

Ive had this blanket since i was a kid in 2018 when we bought the wooden bunk bed named KURA on the 2nd picture. This blanket is a genuine masterpeice because of how smooth and breathable it is.
I always sleep with AC on using this blanket and the fact it makes me cold instead of warm during sleep is what i love the most
Nowadays ive never seen this blanket anywhere on. IKEA. Please help me find this blanket’s name and the fabric

Pictures, the back piece i sit at most has been doing this. I can reset the cover and it helps for a few days but it goes back. I thought of rotating back pieces, but it’s just going to happen to the next piece. I’ve had this for about two years now.

I have a Malm queen bed with Luroy Slats and an Endy mattress (memory foam). My Endy got super uncomfortable and was sagging but warranty covered a replacement which is being sent.
I think the Luroy slats are technically fine with spacing but I’m wondering if they have something to do with the mattress sagging so quickly.
I’m in Canada and the Lonset slats are no longer sold where I am. I was looking at getting a Bunkie board but the amazon ones im looking at say they go on top of the slats.
Would this still work given the Luroy slats are curved?
I don’t have power tools/nor a large vehicle so not interested in a total DIY option (like getting custom slats/plywood board).
Open to other ideas or slat options that can easily fit the frame.
TIA!

I am looking for this specific pink for carpet, and I need to know if the material is same as Arende which I really hate. I am hoping to see if it's a comfortable rug.
