I was told “arrows or something” on marketplace and it has FC101 at the front. I can’t find any other hints on the chassis

I ordered a karting suit from kartwears.com on 3 September 2026 (order ID 53744) and paid £70 plus £20 shipping to India. I did not receive an order confirmation email. Over WhatsApp, the seller first said it would ship in 3 days. On 15 September, they told me they could not ship to India and would refund me. As of 27 October 2026, the item has not shipped, I have received no refund, and I have had no reply to my follow-ups for over 25 days. The seller is completely non-responsive to emails, calls or messages.

I just got this kart off marketplace for 1500 and I wanted to know if I got scammed or not and what is a good price for it? It's got a rotax max pre evo motor with Hoosier wheels. The frame is amazing and the only damage seems to be scuffs and little holes in the plastic bumpers

I've been putting together a playlist of karting videos from different tracks around Southeast Asia, and it's now up to 17 videos covering 11 tracks.
I thought I'd share it here for anyone interested in karting in the region, planning a trip, or looking for new circuits to try.
Playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLW8XWeTDcH4WT7bM7yJN4gQQz1gmAvA5l&si=LLbQ41GLnNAjIEyn
I'm the creator of the videos, just to be transparent. I'd also love to hear about other karting tracks in Southeast Asia that you'd recommend checking out!

Bonjour!

Hello,
I am looking for a partner for the November 22nd endurance race. I did the race last night solo as a rookie and ended up coming in 15th out of 19th with a best lap of about 35.8. I need some help, 200 laps was too much for me. If anyone here is able and interested in joining shoot me a DM. There are 7 required stops during the race where driver swaps are completed. 190 pound race minimum and the venue has weights.
Thank you

Hi everyone! I’ve been building RaceFX to simplify and speed up the process of creating telemetry-overlay race videos.
Why I built this: As a kart driver, I was tired of the slow, multi-step workflow required just to post a video: extracting footage with the GoPro app, overlaying HUD telemetry with RaceChrono, editing clips in a video editor, and finally uploading to YouTube. My ultimate goal with RaceFX is to handle all of this in a single app, with just one click. What it does currently:
RaceFX processes onboard racing footage directly in your browser. It detects the race/laps from GPS data and can generate: Full Race with HUD (Speed, current lap time, best lap, lap counter) Selected Laps Highlights Theoretical Lap Privacy & Performance: No upload needed: Your video stays on your device — no need to upload multi-GB footage to a server.
Desktop First: This initial version is web-based and optimized for desktop computers, where processing runs up to 4x faster. (An Android APK for mobile devices is currently in development). Looking for Beta Testers: I’m looking for people who record kart sessions with action cameras to test it with real footage.
🔗 Try the beta here: https://racefx-race-fx.vercel.app/
Any feedback on different cameras, browsers, performance, or anything that breaks would be extremely helpful!

So, aside from a couple times in a rental kart and a day in a 2 stroke I have zero karting experience. But I have raced cars.
Logistically and budget wise seat time (training) in a kart is much better. So I was wondering how much effect regular kart sessions could have on my lap times in a car?
Edit: My car control is good. But I tend to struggle with lack of confidence when I have been out of the car for a while. Thinking a have to brake sooner, taking a corner slower than necessary.

This is the chassis tag from my Tony Kart. Can someone help me identify its age and any other specifics I should know about it?
Thanks

This is my first kart, noticed after purchasing. The previous owner claimed there were no incidents or crashes with the kart.

My Tony Kart with an X30 is having an issue starting. The engine will start with an external starter. That’s not an issue. Where I’m having the issue is somewhere between the battery and starter motor.
When I push the start button, I get nothing. Zip, zilch, nada. I’ve checked all my connections. I found a 5a fuse that was burned out and replaced it, still nothing. I thought it might be the actual starter button, but I’ve jumped it and still nothing. It has the electronic ignition, so I suspect there could be an issue there, but again, the engine will run.
I’m very new to karting and my automotive electrical skills are not overly great. But if you have suggestions at to where to start testing/checking, I’d really appreciate it. I don’t really want to start replacing things just to find the problem.
Could the kill button be causing my issue? When it’s in the “down” position, the engine won’t fire. But in either position, I can’t get the starter to turn.
Thanks in advance.

I went with a friend to a K1 Circuit. This is our 4th time, multiple races per session with their rentals.
This time my friend ended up crashing on a section they felt confident about since they’ve cleared it many times with no problem. They understand that crashes happen but they can’t help but keep reviewing the incident in their mind about how it happened since the section and the approach to section couldn’t have led them to a crash the way they did. My friend also comes from the world of racing on tracks and not new to racecraft. The crash led to damages to the kart. My friend is suspecting kart condition as a potential contributing culprit as the karts are not normally well maintained.
Having so many unknowing risky factors such varying as kart condition from kart to kart involving chassis, steering, rods, brakes, tire and such, without a detailed evaluation of the kart before or after you’re at a much higher safety risk than you anticipate especially if you’re a driver than tends to like to push the karts a bit to find faster lap times. Karts are also now electric motors so there is even more factors at play.
When you do crash there is no footage, there is no report. All they do is send the kart to a mechanics to evaluate on their own discretion on which parts you need to pay for. Additionally they seem to be more concerned about the damage payments than evaluating you for injuries as they don’t have a process to do so, but they are quick to rush you to the counter to pay for kart damages. There is no insurance waiver to be offered either. K1 doesn’t offer any sort of insurance policy as a waiver or even injury spot covered compared to other sports such as skiing or snowboarding.
Damages can add up quick and can really put hundreds on top of the races you might’ve purchased.
If you dive into their customer reviews there are a handful of accounts where many do feel poor kart conditions led them to their crash. Interestingly enough when you dive into the financial state of K1 Circuit they are currently in debt so in a sense it feels they are positioned to be incentivized to want to charge fees as traffic to their locations are not generating sizable profitable to offset. Hence the lack of a damage insurance option. To me this becomes a conflict of interest that should be kept in mind.
After this past session we’ve decided to refrain from returning to K1 Circuit unless we bring our own karts.
Decide for yourself. For us, the monetary and safety risk is simply too high.

Hi, recently me and a friend of mine bought a 125 2 stroke kart for really cheap.
The old owner said that it’s a CRG FORMULA 2000 from 1998, searching online we couldn’t find anything about it, so we started thinking that it might be some other chassis.
We need to restore it so we need as many information as we can get and possibly the mechanical manuals of it.
We also are searching for a new compatible braking system for it but we have no idea how to find it.
If you have any ideas on what chassis and year it actually is we would be pleased to know your thoughts

Recently i've been really intrigued by this kart. It's made from a chinese company called "Mademoto", that manufactures Gas and Ekectric Karts, Scooters, Quad-Bikes etc... I saw this on a YT Short and tried to get more information about it. Mademoto doesn't really sell these, but it distributes them to other comanies to sell, and I found a website that does: "E-Drift Trikes", as the logo in the picture says. Let's talk about the Kart. It's called GC2010, It's 200kg, 200cc, it can go up to 60km/h and apparently it's designed to go off-road, though it doesn't look like it. I really like this mostly for the looks. The speed is nothing crazy, but maybe i could make some modifications, even though i don't really need any more speed if i'm going off-road. When I searched it up it gave me just two correct results. The first one was Mademoto's official website, and the other was "E-Drift Trikes", wich apparently is the only website i can buy this thing from. The price tag at 350$ does seem pretty decent, but I still don't know if it's a good deal. There are only two correct results on google, and the only videos on youtube showcasing it are from Mademoto's YT channel, that show the kart, but it's not a deep demonstration of what this kart can do. Is someone able to find out wether or not this is a good deal? Because i really like this and I would love to get my hands on this thing. I even take recommendations on any alternatives.

Hello I’m looking to get in to karting and I’m not super worried about having the best of the best stuff right now. I was looking at going to get this kart on Saturday and was wondering if it is a good option
I belive it’s around a 2016 crk kart I’m not sure which model, with a PRD Fireball 125cc that has a new top end
Does this kart look like a good option? as well as would it be difficult to get fairings or break kits for the chassis?
Thank you!!

I acquired this kart from a trade and understand it might be a 1998 Tony shifter kart with a cr125. It has Tony shifter kart branded parts but i want to find specific parts for it so i can start racing. It needs a new braking system and tires from what i can tell.

Hello
I am looking for five beta testers an application I am creating to analyze and compare lap times and session times.
I am new to karting I’ve only done one race and a handful of practices and I needed an application to analyze my information along with understanding and saving my set up information to understand what works and what doesn’t work.
I’ve created an app to help me out with this. I would like to extend feedback and beta testing to five people first come first serve please message me or reply to this thread and I will delete this post after we reach five.
I will request that you have more than three sessions logged on your mychron or Alfano data loggers

A reminder for anyone getting into karting:
talent alone will not get you to Formula 1.
Without serious family money behind you, even an exceptional driver has no chance.
There was a recent interview with Cristian Horner about the parents of George Russell, Lando Norris and Oscar Piasstri paying for access to Red Bull’s simulators.
These were some of the biggest talents coming through karting, and their families were still paying to give them every possible advantage.
There’s also a misconception that getting into an F1 junior programme means everything is paid for. It doesn’t necessarily. The support varies, and being selected for a programme is not the same as getting a fully funded drive.
Substantial backing might come once you’ve proved yourself against the best in Europe, but a family can already have spent over a million getting a driver to that point.
If you want to start karting, or you’re a parent thinking about getting your child involved, do it because you enjoy the sport. It’s great competition, teaches valuable skills and gives you a chance to spend time together as a family. Those things are worthwhile in their own right.
For every driver who makes it, plenty of equally committed families walk away with nothing like the outcome they hoped for.
Some burn through savings, sell assets or squander generational wealth chasing a seat that was always overwhelmingly unlikely.
Even a fully paid seat outside of F1 is extremely rare. A series may be professionalised but that doesn’t mean the drivers seat is. For most business models in professional racing the drivers seat is a sold commodity and big part of the budget for that particular team - More so than you think.
There’s nothing wrong with having a dream. Just don’t confuse having talent with having a realistic path to F1, and don’t mortgage your family’s future trying to prove otherwise.
