[Modpost] From now on posts that do not mention the level of each language you're learning will be deleted. (details on description)

So I am posting here after having seen many posts that do not follow all the rules we, the mods, have set. So please, consider reading them again and follow the proceedings accordingly, otherwise your post will be deleted. The rules are set in order for you to find an appropriate language partner.

Most of the posts don't contain the level of the languages you want to learn. Such as the example:

"English native looking for someone to teach me Icelandic"

The description doesn't mention the level that person has achieved in learning the language and it is more difficult to find a partner that suits your needs and the others. Levels are (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) or if we take the European Union certificate standards (A1-C2)

Thanks for understanding and happy language learning!

study buddy and friend for learning english (mid b1)

• Upvotes

i’m 17 and native russian speaker. looking for a study buddy and friend at the same time (ONLY 17-19 yo) whose english is b1. preferably your native language is slavic (so we could easily soothe some unavoidable misunderstandings). i’d like to focus on speaking and messaging to each other. UTC +3.

dni: sexists, homophobes and transphobes, ppl with radical political views, reddit g@@ners.

about me:
\- I’m a bit digital artist. some of my artworks are in my profile. happy to chill out in magma together
\- i’m going to apply for medical school next year and i’m studying for my exams (learning russian, biology and chemistry), that’s why I’m free for speaking practice only on weekends. Im studying for exams every weekdays for 4 hours and more, and i have only 1 hour left for english, so im just using it for learning new words or writing texts.
\- i love androgynous people and im planning to become one of them after i graduate and gain more personal space
\- sometimes read classics (on russian). the last book i’ve read and liked a lot was Master and Margarita (heil to Bulgakov. i liked his ,,morphine,, too). the rest of the time i just consume english queer comics, mangas, manhwas… and chinese novels. that’s my way of learning english
\- love spend my time watching english youtube. will be happy to watch it with someone and share opinions
\- im using quizlet and anki flashcards
\- i’ve kinda anxious personality so it will take me some time to get use to a new person

Mandarin

Hi everyone! I'ma 25-year-old postgraduate student

searching for long-term language exchange buddies.

I want to improve my English by chatting every single day, and I'Il teach you standard Mandarin Chinese in exchange. I've tutored several foreign friends with their Chinese before, so I know how to explain things simply for beginners.

Feel free to hit me up if you're interested in daily consistent conversation

[Offering] English. [Seeking] French OR Arabic

Hello everyone!

I'm a native English speaker. I've scored well on IELTS so I could help you with that too!
I'm seeking a motivated language partner to practice either French or Arabic together via regulars conversations.

We help each other, have a few laughs on the way and share some cultural facts too? Everyday expressions, speaking skills and an understanding of the language would be great.

Regular conversations through text messages at first and maybe voice messages or calls in the future. Feedback of course is required and I'll be making tons of mistakes.

If you're interested then send a message over. Let the good times begin?
