Work as a Technical Drafter in Turkey. Does This Career Have a Future?

Hi everyone, I know AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and I work as a technical drafter in Turkey. With AI developing so rapidly, I'm wondering what the future holds for this profession. Do you think technical drafting is still a good career choice, or will AI replace a large part of the job? What skills would you recommend learning to stay competitive in the future?

What tools are a must have for an ME freshman’s future projects?

I have heard that digital Calipers are a must. If I want to make some cute little robot projects on the side for my portfolio, or things like a laser gun game that I can play on my tv screen, what are some tools and materials I definitely need to get? (already have a bambu p1s fdm printer)

how do you verify a Dongnan KW3A switch is the real spec you need?

im sourcing replacement microswitches and KW3A markings show up on a bunch of listings, but exact ratings and actuator styles can differ. i found several switch suppliers on alibaba and the dimensions look close, though “close” is not enough when its going into existing assembly. anyone familiar with Dongnan parts? is full model suffix important beyond KW3A? current rating, lever, terminal layout obviously need match. im less worried about logo authenticity than getting legitimate part with correct electrical/mechanical rating. do authorized distributors publish cross-reference sheets? i dont wanna assume two switches are interchangeable just because plastic body and first four characters are same.
