Enjoy going through and listening to these records I love going through especially the bottom half of each quarter and finding new things and spamming various private discords with albums at 6:57 am. You all make me look so cool.

Discog Club Discography Club: Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats
33
Upvotes
I don't know what I hold in my hand, could it be that I'm evil?
Plunder on there's no law in this land, the horror guides me through
Masterer and subjector of pain, I'm the Godder of worms
Devil's Lieger controls the insane, you'l see it when I'm through
I'll hang you higher than before
I'll leave you dying at death's door
To wrap up our spooky season special, there's few bands more season appropriate than Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats!
Originally started as a solo project by Kevin Starrs (I am absolutely convinced this is the case and he just pretended to have a band) but in 2013 he got a real band together and became a quartet, playing live shows (including opening for Black Sabbath), and more recently became a quintet with a dedicated backing vocalist/synth player.
Uncle Acid are what you'd get it if you combined early Sabbath, 60s/70s occult rock, the entire Palm Desert scene, and every single obscure giallo and German horror movie from the 70s you can think of. Lots of fuzzy guitars, high pitched falsetto vocals, spooky synths, and songs about Satan, evil cults, psychedelics, serial killers, and all that kind of good horror movie goodness. If you like stuff like early Witchcraft, Jex Thoth, Blood Ceremony, and Buffalo you're gonna love Uncle Acid.
Schedule is:
- Volume 1
- Blood Lust
- Mind Control
- Night Creeper
- Wasteland
- Shapes of Midnight (optional)

[New Release] Entheos Keeps Recognition Out of Reach on Empty on the Inside
•
Upvotes
“Never Let Me Go” leaves more space around Chaney Crabb’s voice, and Empty on the Inside changes scale with it. That quiet is what I took away from this record

Here’s the official video to the opening track of their 2016 release. Posting this to remind myself and the others to admire the evolution of this banger band from the 80s and discover amazing tracks like this one in their new-era material.
I’m seeing them live for the first time in a few weeks.

LIV SIN - The Sinner

LIV SIN - 2019 - Burning Sermons - The Sinner
Born, fed and raised today
A perfectly insular way
They teach you how to shut your mouth
And tell you that you're safe
Take your dusty mind
Shove it to the ground
I will never let you take away the pain
I am the sinner
I am the saint
My life is only mine to judge
I am the sinner
I am the saint
I am the creeping thing that can't be tamed
There's something you should know
We're coming after you
No way to silence is
Uprising is our cause
Take your dirty blame
Words reflects your shame
I can see right through the faces that you've built.
I am the sinner
I am the saint
My life is only mine to judge
I am the sinner
I am the saint
I am the creeping thing that can't be tamed
I am the sinner, I am the saint
I am the sinner
I am the saint
My life is only mine to judge
I am the sinner
I am the saint
I am the creeping thing that can't be tamed
I am the sinner
I am the saint
My life is only mine to judge
I am the sinner
I am the saint
I am the creeping thing that can't be tamed

Accept - 1983 - Balls To The Wall - Head Over Heels
Late at night in the park
I saw them slipping in the dark
For heaven's sake what's going on
It's like someone is here
Gotta follow now
Like being in a trance for me
There's silence here
More than all the noise
Spurting in the dark Head Over Heels
Overheated heart Head Over Heels
Treating it so hard the spurting feels
Everyday, everynight
Spurting in the dark Head Over Heels
Overheated heart Head Over Heels
Treating it so hard the spurting feels
Oh yeah
Down on my knees, God help me please
Gotta know who's out in the dark
I've stopped my breath, can feel the hands
Could hear the sound of people making love
I surrender right now
I've to be touched, I feel so much
Spurting in the dark Head Over Heels
Overheated heart Head Over Heels
Treating it so hard the spurting feels
Everyday, everynight
Spurting in the dark Head Over Heels
Overheated heart Head Over Heels
Treating it so hard the spurting feels
Everyday, everynight
Spurting in the dark Head Over Heels
Overheated heart Head Over Heels
Treating it so hard the spurting feels
Everyday, everynight
Spurting in the dark Head Over Heels

Mortillery - 2011 - Murder Death Kill - Outbreak
The fear of death
Keeps you awake
You hear the screams
Your body bleeds
The time has come
To give up faith
One million dead
They rot in hell
Outbreak of death!
Fight till the end if you wanna save your soul
Outbreak of death!
Death and destruction slaughtering the world
Outbreak of death!
Yaaaaaaa
Outbreak of death!
Frail mortals
Fight with rage
To save their souls
But hell awaits
No one's safe
No remorse
An endless struggle
A total war
Chorus
A killer instinct
A thirst for blood
A haunting feeling
A deadly force
A living nightmare
A darkened world
A holy spirit
A total war
