Ask and you shall receive, only this time, instead of OC, we're doing fancomics! Well, OCs are still and will always be welcomed to join.

Here are the guidelines:

• Limits are 3 panels minimum and 10 maximum.
• Your comic should follow a similar style to the official comic (aka, keep them as stick figures).
• No fancy formatting (comic book or manga style), just make the panels simple squares like the comic.
• Comics are allowed to be dark and edgy, just don't go overboard.
• One entry per person.

What you are allowed to do:

• Use your OCs (or other people's with permission) in your fancomic.
• Use ONLY OCs in your fancomic.
• Use NO original character for the entry and only draw characters in the official comic.
• (bonus points if you could, but don't worry too much about writing them out of character)
• Have both OC and official character in the entry.
• No limits on amount of characters appearing in the comic.
• (This is just a way of me saying anything goes)

How are the entries judged?

1. The art, ofc, not just how the characters are drawn but also things such as speech bubble, composition, backgrounds. Btw, backgrounds are NOT required, it's not like I draw them very often.

2. The comic content! It's hard to provide specific criteria on this but it boils down to what I'd consider the essentials of mintchan, that are:

• color facts.
• social commentary.

You can focus on either of them or blend them both. In the previous contest I asked you guys to write how your OC's color affect them, perhaps you can expand on that!

Comics can be funny, sad, dramatic, cute, any genre is cool!

Three winners will be selected and each be given a 2-month free membership to my patreon! Which will let you have access to several bonus panels under most episodes, and exclusive bonus episodes!

Winners will also get the option to join the private discord channel where I post most of my behind-the-scene work, this one has no time limit so you can stay forever if ya want.

The three comics selected will also be posted onto Webtoon, if you're uncomfortable with that you can request not to.

It's been a while since I made any update on Patreon, in all honesty I was super unfamiliar with the platform at the time and was neglecting it a lot. But during my hiatus I had a lot of time to think about what I want it to be like and how I can support myself without locking everything behind a paywall.

Which brings us to the difficult topic...

BONUS PANELS

I decided that having one extra panel for most episodes would be a fair. They aren't required to get the joke or anything, just little titbits, sometimes they add to the punchline, sometimes they don't.

So yeah, most future episodes will have the second image shown in this post of me shamelessly shilling my Patreon!

Occasionally, there will be bonus episodes as well! These are more experimental than the normal episodes.

Changes made:

Most people probably can't even tell what I changed during the revamp, since not a lot visit it, but I'm gonna log them anyway.

-Took away one membership option to simplify things.

-Reduced the price for most memberships, the lowest one is now $2.

-Stopped producing speedpaints, since they aren't that interesting to look at anyway.

-Added 3 new perks, bonus panel, bonus episode and discord role (which will let you access an exclusive channel where I post behind-the-scenes).

-Made some sickass new banners.

Oh right, all tiers let you access new episodes a week early, and it's currently a week before I come back from hiatus, so for 2 dollars you can see the episode right now and the bonus content!!!
