[Photo] Ely’s Bronc Alley

My main reason for stopping in Ely is because I wanted to see what the brothels looked like there. The idea of them being so close to the main part of the city is unusual to me because all of the other ones I’ve come across are set far away from everything. There are regular houses just next door.

As always, I don’t go inside. I recently learned that I can go in to ask for swag purchasing but I haven’t because I feel like I am bothering people.

Posted these to the SIN forum and people were wondering if the Stardust was closed. Does anyone more local have an answer I can share back to them?

I was hoping to have more information to add to this post but when I started digging, I got sidetracked into the Mustang Ranch book by Alexa and didn’t find much to say about Ely.

The Green Lantern was next door to Big 4 and it looked like the building was in the process of being rebuilt. I don’t know if it has plans to reopen as a brothel or not. I wish I grabbed a picture of the remnants of the sign but I didn’t realize I was looking at an old brothel.

Thanks for letting me post yet another post about everyone’s less than favorite Nevada topic and humoring me once more.

[Discussion] Question about employee time worked rights in the state of Nevada.

Hello all,

I recently found out my employer is automatically deducting 30 minutes from my time worked daily for a lunch. I understand that state law requires me to take a lunch for all days I work over a certain number of hours, but the company automatically taking my time without me manually punching in and out seems illegal?

I also noticed they are rounding my hours, both down and up. Again, this seems illegal to me, I should be paid for my actual time worked. Rounding down steals time from me.

Any thoughts or input? I'm genuinely upset about it, I feel like the company has been stealing time from me. It could very well be legal, I have no idea, but it doesnt feel like it is.

[Government] Contradiction

I love how Nevada is absolutely flooded with gambling and

p🌽, yet for school speed limit zones 25 mph is not good enough, gotta be 15. 'Cause we need to be pleasant and well mannered in our behavior.
