How do I navigate reddit, necessarily?

I cannot understand why i cant answer to other chats or post things. Been working for 2 years exeot Sunday with my small team to develop a game, i never used reddit and didnt knew the requirements. I dont have energy left for this, what can i do?

I’m new to Reddit and really interested in learning how this platform works.

I’d love to know how to find interesting communities, participate in discussions, ask questions, and connect with people who share similar interests.

Any tips or advice for a beginner would be greatly appreciated!

I’m curious because I’ve never had a Reddit account before, I’ve only used it when google sends me to a sub to answer my question! so I’m kind of curious where to start because it’s a little overwhelming haha

My account is about 10 days old. Most communities I want to join remove my posts for low karma, but their rules don't state the minimum. Is there a way to check before posting, or is trial and error the only option?

I haven't commented on the post or anything by the way (I searched up that this would cause it).

Basically I downvoted someone's comment so it goes from 1 to 0, but then when I reload it's still 1 but with my downvote button still blue.

I tried to reopen a new account to post on beginner-friendly Reddits just to have the post immediately hidden by Reddit filters... Is this normal? Did I do anything wrong? Thanks!

Like most here, I'm not NEW new to reddit, I'm coming back to reddit after being gone for a while. I've made accounts before which get autoflagged as spam because I posted too much. I am trying not to repeat that mistake, so I'm making an account, making one post here, and won't make any other posts or comments for the next few days (in any sub). However, what about joining? If I join a ton of subs, will reddits system filter me out as a spambot again, or should it be fine as long as I don't post?

Can I continue engaging in one sub/community to gain karmaa, it requires loww karrma to post, or will it be bad for my account? I'll try to be natural
