I posted a couple of months ago about whether there were any Kimono or wafuku enthusiasts here in Osaka. Sadly i got busy at work and couldn't organize a meet up but now its quieting down for me (and cooler outside) I'd like to try organize once again.

There's an exhibit in Kyoto National museum on The Tale of Genji and the museum is encouraging people to wear kimono and i thought its an opportunity to bring other wafuku enthusiasts together❤️

I’ll arrive to Osaka next Saturday (31). I’ll be for 1 week and travelling solo. I’m really into nightlife, but the idea of going solo kind of freights me, so does anybody want to meet up?

We’re a live-oriented hobby rock band based in Nara & Osaka, Japan, playing classic Western hard rock & heavy metal from the ’70s–’90s!

🔥 What we’re looking for:

・Someone who understands that the vocalist is the main focus of the band and values the overall balance of the sound.

・ A guitarist who plays for the song and the band as a whole, rather than trying to stand out at the expense of the other members. (Except solo part)

・ Since we have a twin-guitar lineup, we’re looking for someone who can work closely with the other guitarist, communicate openly, and balance lead and rhythm guitar parts to improve the overall quality of the band’s performance.

・A great personality and team spirit

・ Gender doesn’t matter — everyone is welcome!

・Someone who wants to grow with us for the long run

Although we’re a hobby band, we’re very much live-oriented and fairly active for a band of our kind.

Our goal is not just to enjoy playing music ourselves, but also to put on shows that make our audience want to see us again and make the live music venues want to invite us back!

A weird concoction of circumstances has afforded me a great deal of free time in my stay in Osaka! I am a solo traveller from the Philippines looking for newfound friends, or just people to hangout with in the area.

I am down to hit all the usual tourist spots around Umeda/Namba but dont mind going much further out to Kyoto/Nara. I originally planned to do some light hiking around Nara (Yoshino/Kuroso) but no worries if thats not your vibe.
