I've been hanging out with a bunch of Filipinos on Root, and we're looking for more people to join us! We're currently 67 members, and it's been pretty fun seeing the community grow from just 5 people. XD

We mostly hang out, play games, watch movies, yap about random stuff, and occasionally get into the most unserious conversations imaginable. HAHAHAHA.

We play stuff like Minecraft, Valorant, L4D2, MLBB, and more. We also do movie nights, random activities, polls, and whatever else people feel like doing.

Small heads-up: we're on Root, not Discord! It's a separate social platform with its own communities and features. Nothing against Discord, we just happen to be doing our thing over there.

HABLOOOOOOOO we're The Duck Pond, a 21+ PH gaming community server. we play games, hang out, watch movies, and occasionally say things that should probably stay in the chat.....

We've got college students. WFH people, the regular 9–5 crowd, health-allied folks with schedules that make absolutely no sense, and people juggling all sorts of irl stuff. so yeah, the server can get pretty quiet sometimes because everyone's busy doing their own thing.

We're also LGBTQ+ friendly and generally just want the pond to be a chill space where people can come in, be themselves, and find some people to game or hang out with. 🫧

🎮 WHAT WE PLAY

• Overwatch is our main game, but we also play other games like Valo, APEX, DEADLOCK, Warframe. Name it and someone probs plays it.
• We also play other stuff through Friendslop — co-op games, party games, demos, free games, whatever looks fun. REPO, PEAK, you get the idea.

it's week 5 of Spooktober, which means we're ending the month a little differently.

we're doing BARBIE BANLAW this weekend! 💅

we'll be streaming some Barbie movies together and probably hopping into some co-op games in between because sitting through an entire Barbie marathon without causing some kind of chaos would be too normal for us.
