Today is the 26th anniversary of the ps2 and as y’all can see, mine is in amazing condition. It was sold 150 million units worldwide and it was insane how popular this machine was and it pushed its way to become the best selling console of all time 😎. And I swear after all these years I love this thing SO MUCH! And the holds a special place in my heart how awesome this thing is.

just got these at a yard sale for $140
all complete and none of the have been played except re4
did i get a steal or robbed

Was going through my belongings in boxes in my grandmas basement and I have alot of horror games such as silent hill and resident evil and clock tower but by far these are two of the games i am most happy to have found that I grew up playing and totally forgot about. Has the covers, discs, books. Could probably change the outside inserts to cases that aren’t scratched.

Killzone kicks ass though lol

GTA SA is just so legendary, so iconic, and so classic! What more can you say about this game? It's true perfection.

Finally dug out all my childhood things from my parents basement. PS2 was my primary console the longest. Was never much of a collector, bought, sold, let friends borrow. But it's cool to see what's left, so many memories.

Here I've got two old fat PS2s that still have the iLink port. Have two lightguns for the link play. Working on getting some DDR pads as pedals.

Hey,

Currently playing through this beautiful game again.

I have downloaded the A True Definitive Edition for the PS2 emulating on NetherSX2.

Is this the best edition of San Andreas for PS2 emulation? Or is there any others?

PS2 Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King online co-op is back in 2026!

Thanks to Adam u/HikikoMarmy who also revived the PS2 Champions of Norrath and Return to Arms games, the multiplayer works again after more than a decade. I tested it on PCSX2 but haven’t tried it on original hardware with another player yet.

Requirements:

- Your original disc (this is for people who own the game)

- A DNAS bypass (Sony’s old authentication check). Common methods are a CHT file, a PNACH file for PCSX2, or a patched ISO.

To connect: Set DNS to 67.222.156.250

Hello fellow ps2 enjoyers. I'm trying to play champions return to arms on my ps2 slim. I've played it tons of times in the past but it doesn't read my disc anymore. I've purchased a much nicer copy; and it still doesn't read. It's the only game that doesn't and I feel after 2 different discs there are some other issues going on. I thought it to be the laser itself; but I've tested a dozen other games and they all run flawlessly. Please help.

Sincerely,

An almost 30 year old man trying to enjoy his nostalgia :(

Apologies for the background noise. Filmed this right around noon and unfortunately I live right next to an elementary school.

The disc drive was working perfectly just yesterday. I’m not too familiar with slims specifically, hence my posting on this sub. Would appreciate any and all help, thanks.

Trying to get Urban Chaos: Riot Response remastered

Probably a long shot, but I've reached out to Square Enix, Rocksteady, Nightdive Studios, and Atari about getting this game remastered. Why not right? Let's give it a rip and see what happens. It's been 20 years, and I still think it's one of the best shooters ever made.

Anyone else want to see this game come back?
