Hi everyone, I am looking for a safe area to move to in Pretoria. My office is in Menlyn. Ideally the closer to Menlyn the better. I found a place in Lynnwood Glen but upon asking around about safety in the area, I was warned by a couple of people that it’s very unsafe. So it’s left me feeling extremely uncomfortable with moving into the area. I would appreciate any advice.

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for a job in Pretoria for December, after finishing my matric finals. I’m 18 and looking for my first work opportunity.
I’m a hardworking, dedicated and reliable person with good communication and people skills. I’m a quick learner, willing to take on new challenges and happy to put in the effort to get the job done properly. I’m also comfortable working with others and interacting with customers.
I’m open to different types of work, including retail, hospitality, customer service or general assistant positions.
If anyone knows of a business that’s hiring temporary or seasonal staff for December, or has any recommendations on where I could apply, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

Please drop any suggestions and social media pages. Please don’t recommend eldorado park because it’s hard to get Ubers there

Looking for a partner in crime… the strictly fun, good-vibes, no-crime kind!
I’m looking for a female friend to hang out with, explore new places, try fun activities, grab drinks or coffee, enjoy good food, laugh until our stomachs hurt, and occasionally make questionable decisions that turn into great stories.
Life’s too short to keep saying, “We should do something sometime” and then never actually do it!
If you’re fun, easygoing, enjoy a bit of adventure, and are keen to make new memories and build a genuine friendship, let’s connect!
Bonus points if you can turn a boring Tuesday into a whole event.
Friendship applications are officially open. Good vibes are compulsory; boring is optional! 💕
I’m a white guy, structural engineer by trade. Enjoy the bush and 4x4 adventures. Comfortable in any setting and a true gentleman with a big heart. Looking for a real friendship with someone like minded

Should the state ever take land without paying for it? Should SAA be sold? Should unpaid electricity bills be cancelled? Should private companies run the water where the city can't?
WhichParty https://whichparty.co.za asks 30 questions like these and shows how closely you match with each of the eight biggest parties. Every party also has its own page showing where it stands on every issue.
The positions come from party manifestos, conference resolutions, votes, official statements, etc. And they're all linked to the sources.
I've tried hard to keep it fair. The goal is to help voters make an informed decision. If something looks wrong or slanted, tell me and I'll check it against the party's own documents.

Hi everyone! 😊
I’m looking for a physical store where I can buy an underskirt or petticoat to give my dress more volume for a wedding on Friday.
I’m a bit pressed for time, so ordering online isn’t an option. Does anyone know of any shops that sell these in Pretoria?
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! TIA ❤️

Hi guys!
I'm a 21-year-old woman that just graduated culinary school with a pastry diploma. I'm looking for anyone hiring an intern at a bakery or café anywhere in Pretoria, Joburg or Cape Town, somewhere I can get hands-on experience with baking prep or back-of-house tasks as i don’t have any formal experience.
I'm available full-time, happy to start early, and just eager to learn and contribute wherever I can. The bakeries don’t need to be big or well-known.
If you know of anyone open to taking on an enthusiastic learner, I'd really appreciate any leads. Thanks!😊

For context i live in the city of Tswane and I have this neighbor that keeps getting mad every time i do woodworking.
I asked the woodworkers subreddit for advice and they seid to check My local bylaws
I looked on the internet and the only result I could find was some regulations for a complex in centurion and the official document by the city of tswane. But their limit for the daytime is 55Decibels
for context google says 55 decibels is as. Quiet as a coffee machine even more quiet than a dog barking.
So forgive me for being skeptical the limit of hearing damage is 85db. Anyone know whare i can find the official document cause im real skeptical of the 55db figure

I am looking for a hiking trail like the Moreleta Kloof Nature reserve. I love that it's free entry, the shaded trails and the wild-life sightings. But it is a steep hike to do with a 2 year old. He loves it, but it can be a lot to keep him safe in certain areas.
I want to get some opinions and see what other people recommend. Are there other Trails around PTA which are free entry and shaded but are less steep and mountainous than Moreleta Kloof?
