I'm confident there's no way to prove I'm the fastest, but as this is a relatively new (in the grand scheme of time) achievement and it's unlikely it's been a goal for someone before I think there is a good chance it is true! I'm equally confident that I'll be outpaced as soon as someone with more time or dedication to the grind tries to do this as well, but I'll live on this imaginary pedestal I've made myself until then!

Some posts about divine charges got me thinking about how time-efficient invention actually is. If we assume that bosses can be done with or without augmented gear, and that augmented gear is just going to increase our DPM and our kills per hour, how efficient is it really when you consider the time spent collecting charges?

Depending on your perks invention is somewhere in the range of 10-20% DPM increase as far as I'm aware. If I'm as generous as possible and assume 20%, that means every 5 hours spent killing a boss with augmented gear gives you the equivalent kill count of 6 hours without. In theory this means you need to be able to gather at least 5 pvm hours worth of energy in a single hour of divination to make your augmented gear time-efficient.

My gear (t90 weapon with t80 armour) burns 3.93 charges/second at 120 invention. Over the course of an hour, with a little downtime and banking factored in, this works out to around 4.5 divine charges. A divine charge takes me rougly 3 minutes to fill with a vacuum at radiant springs and 87 divination. That works out to 20 divine charges per hour or about 4.4 hours of PvM. Just below the breakeven point.

So even with the most generous assumption that invention is responsible for 20% of my DPM: Filling divine charges does not seem to be worth my time. The activity provides no practical amount of experience and no benefits outside of providing charges and the time I save using augmented gear does not make up for the time I spend gathering energy. So would it not be technically better for someone in my position to unaugment my gear and stop using invention? I think the answer really is whether or not you value the AFK time of charge gathering more than the enjoyment you get from PvM. A player who enjoys PvM more than divination should, at my stage of progress, theoretically use unaugmented gear.

This of course doesn't account for the idea that some bosses may require augmented gear to get consistent kills or hit certain skips, DPM doesn't necessarily equate to KPH in this way. It also doesn't consider that higher KPH conserves supplies like overloads which have their own time-efficiency equations. There's too many variables to say anything for certain but I am toying with the idea of running unaugmented gear in most of my PvM encounters, at least until I bother levelling divination.

The wiki has been feeling outdated as a result of alot of the R2R changes, so I'm looking to start a discussion on what passive upgrades I should be working towards on a fresh hcim - it can be things like the scripture of elidinis pocket item for all skilling forever, and things like the forinthry fort upgrades - it just feels like there's so much so I want to work on a list of priorities for this! Master farmers are CRAZY. Ive gotten almost none through combat. All my farming XP is from herbs and tree runs from master farmers. I did 15 farming through quests and started the tree runs from the seeds I got from master farmers. You can get to all the main tree spots via spirit tree / lodestones. Also dont forget your pineapples for super compost from catherby and to unlock crux eqal at 50 farming north of al kharid (another herb patch) I also have the wendlewick herb patch.

Id have way more seeds overall but I planted 4 at a time to rush bountiful harvest from eqal shop (not worth it if you want to maximise herbs per seed but at master farmers seeds are so plentiful i didnt care) Theres a reason everyone says do thieving first. Its set me up for a while for when I start combat properly

Just come back after about 3 years off the game and iv run out of adrenaline pots. Aside from the new slayer mobs, (don’t feel like hours of questing to unlock them atm) what’s a good source of these? I swear I used to have endless amounts and never struggled with upkeeping them, what changed?

I was reading a post from a few years ago (https://www.reddit.com/r/RS3Ironmen/comments/166dows/how_to_train_efficiently_train_slayer_99120/) and can't help but feel like I'm still a little lost. I am a maxed ironman, returning for the first time in a while.

I feel like I don't know anything about slayer anymore - what should I do to set myself up well for a big grind? Perks, masters, prefer/block lists, key grinds? Any existing resources? thersguide.com seemed a little sparse for me. I have t70 power necro and t90 tank- I've been trying to finish elite dungeons but have been stuck on the final solo boss for a while. I'm out of overloads from this.

I plan on getting masterwork armor/weapon range but was wondering what ammo to use, i have a more than 25k Araxyte arrow but don't know if i should use a different ammo and also where to train

So i have yet to farm the hexhunter bow, and i figured i'd get ruinous crossbows to make the grind faster. At this point i've gone from 102 to 112 dungeoneering and havn't gotten any warped stones, only did large dungeons as solo run.

Is it even worth it to get them for the grind or am i wasting my time?

I'm still going for the pet but mainly wanted dowser. Not pictured in the loot table is the extra uniques I have banked and used, and one more poh trophy. So probably 2.7b~ worth of loot.

Not so fun fact that I gained 16m div xp, 7m agility xp, 10m mining xp, and ate roughly 16k of various food.

So happy to be done with this grind. I was honestly fully expecting to get to 3k kc and I still might slowly going for pet.
