I have 500 Jackalope pouches, 400 Porters IV and yet the thought of training this skill is killing me. it is so unbearable slow, boring and unengaging but I do want to unlock the Gate of Elidnis for the Memory Dowser.

So far I have been following the collections but it is just taking so incredibly long, am I missing something here on the iron?

I feel as if this skill actively tries as hard as possible to make Irons hate it, am I alone?

Hey guys, been really enjoying the Halloween event on the new iron. Went from 33 to 86 arch using just a foot pedal and holding spacebar. Was wondering if there are any other activities out there that work the same way.

Came back to RS after few months break, saw that as of 20 July 2026, Bane arrows (and bolts) are now t80 rather than t60.

My understanding is the Hexhunter bow, at 100% accuracy and when enchanted, still only caps out with t80 arrows and the Jas arrows (even with reduced damage to account for level) are simply better than other options because of the +30% damage/+20% hit chance.

However, would this not make the regular t80 Bane arrows (i.e. Dragonbane arrow +40% damage/+30% hit chance) better than the t95 Jas, when you take into account the cap on arrow level?

Am I misunderstanding the cap on arrow level in this context?

Unsure if anyone could answer with 100% certainty if t80 tuned Bane arrows are ever better than Jas tuned counterparts while using a Hexhunter bow.

Very specific niche question, seems to come down to whether or not accuracy being 100%?

Hey, recently returned to RS3 (o/) and wanted to know what's really happened with dungeoneering items? Are any of the gear unlocks even worth it now? It seems like when I'm frantically searching the wiki to see what I've missed update-wise, there's much easier items to obtain with the same stats. I've heard the chaotic crossbows are decent for using with hydrix bolts, but every other reward im looking at just seems to not even be better? (for example why grind sara gwd for the hum amulet and upgrade it at dungeoneering if its the same as the moonstone amulet with way less work)

A lot of new players on the sub are asking good questions, so I was thinking of making short videos to publish that each explain something (one video for what abilities are and how they work, one for interface, one for bank tabs and presets, etc, could also include things like ability stalling, just things people want to know). People were positive on the idea in an earlier post, so now I want to ask, new people of RuneScape or people that have been new, what were some struggles or things you want to know?

These will be 2-3 minutes videos with probably just a screen recording and a voice over (idc about followers or pretty videos, just want to focus on the meat), what are some good topics people struggle with? I just want to get as many thoughts as possible so I can start, and if people actually watch them then I’ll hopefully have them ask for more.

What are abilities and ability bars
How to set up UI and interface
What are the combat styles, how do they differ at low level
Where are player hubs
How do banks and grand exchange work
Where can I find quest and skill guides (I’ll be pointing people to other good resources as much as possible, there’s already a ton of good stuff, new players may just not know how to find it)
What is revolution? How can I use it
What is a friends chat, clan, guested clan, group, and friends list
Where do I start? (I’ll point them towards progression guides)

What other things (mainly for new players but idm covering things like optimal surges for abyss rcing, just anything that may not be easily accessible on a current guide rn) would be good to get out there?

Jagex.. The symbols for Ironman are confusing, especially if a new player goes into the selection thinking they’d get a white skull and end up with a dumbbell that you can’t even make out.

Can we please get a white skull for regular Ironman mode instead of the dumbbell?! PLEASE.

It also would make more sense if I died as a hardcore with a red skull and then became a normal iron with a white skull.

It shows the skull in the selection for Ironman, so it would make sense to align it with what’s shown..

I know it’s a small gripe to have, but it’s been a wishlist item for a long time!

Honestly, I'm swimming in drops, never thought I could get so lucky anywhere. Hats off to the devs for this engaging fantastic content.

Hi Guys, i am a cgim player without really high stats or ressources yet. For example i dont have vulnerability bombs or powerbursts. Neither do i have codexes.

Im rocking my masterwork melee gear with a Dragon rider Lance and ruinous rapiers.

What i got available for other stuff is 96 herblore and summoning, 90 Slayer, 100 invention and ancient perks unlocked.

I mostly play melee only since ive recently switched to manual combat with just 3 basics on revo. Normal mode Zuk is fine for me but i get obliterated in the waves of hardmode Zuk. Other Bosses ive done so far were all with melee done.

I read much about necro beeing good for Zuk so I forced myself to farm the t90 deathdealer gear and tried some Rasial for further upgrades but i cant stand that Boss (2 KC with endless deaths and food wasted) or necro in general, so i dont really wanna go with that for Zuk If it can be avoided.

Do you guys have any tips what my best course of action is gonna be?

Currently doing a pvm grind with ranged and my supply bottleneck looks like it’s going to be arrows. I’ve chewed through about 7-8k araxyte arrows and am down to 4k while only 1/3 of the way through.

Don’t really want to go back to raxx as theres nothing I urgently need there. I was thinking about doing elder rune arrows. I’ve never done dinarrows before but I hear ironmen complain about them all the time so I assume rates are worse. I’d also need to grind some levels for them and I really don’t need god arrows for this grind anyways, just ammo For my gloomfire.

Checking in to see if elder rune arrows are a huge waste of time before I commit to making 20k of them, also wondering if anyone has any ideas I haven’t thought of.

What’s the best way to farm them?

Hey everyone! I’m playing a new Ironman account in RuneScape 3, and I’m looking for advice on training Herblore.

What are the best methods to obtain herbs, seeds, and other Herblore ingredients as an Ironman? Are there any good monsters to kill, NPCs to pickpocket, quests to complete, or shops to visit for supplies?

I’m currently level 68 Thieving, so I’d also appreciate any tips on how to use it to gather seeds and resources efficiently.

Looking to improve my AFK time at pickpocketing - Should I do safes to unlock thieving buffs or are they just minor improvements?

I enjoy Meele combat a lot but am thinking its going to be a struggle to find a better aoe weapon than dhally for a long while - are there any alternatives?

Any other advice on what you did when you started your account and wished you would have done it sooner as it made it easier to AFK or provided a good QoL.
