I own a couple of gens, but honestly, after figuring out how the whole AD game works and reading posts like this, I’ve started getting into reps.

I mean, you save thousands, get the watch you actually want, wear the shit out of it, and don’t have to kiss anyone’s ass or prove you’re worthy of spending your own hard-earned money. And at the end of the day, nobody gives a shit about where you bought it or what you do with it.
Seriously, just look at the post I’ve attached. This isn’t some shitpost or made-up story. It’s a real person being treated like that just for the privilege of spending thousands of dollars at an authorized dealer.

How fucking ridiculous is that? Imagine having to play stupid games, build a relationship, and potentially buy watches you don’t even want just to earn the right to buy the one you actually came for.

I love watches, but I’m not about to let some sales associate decide whether I’m worthy of buying one.
Honestly, the more I see this shit, the more I understand why people are turning to reps. At some point, you have to wonder who’s playing who.

I was at Bangkok a few days ago and went to MBK Center, and got myself a VSF Submariner No Date for 16000 baht.

From my understanding from what I saw online there's no real VSF watches at MBK.

The movement is currently pretty good, I've timed it and it is +/- 2 seconds a day.

and the power reserve is indeed 70 hours I tested it as well, there a photo of the movement that I took when the seller showed me.

After owning a few different reps, I’ve somehow realised I’ve never done Tudor.

God knows why, they just haven’t really stood out to me up until now.

I’ve narrowed it down to these 3 for now, I think a BlackBay would be a solid choice for a first, before moving into other lines.

Anyone got any preferences for Tudor, wrist shots and opinions would massively help :)

Hey everyone.

For my next watcg I was thinking about getting the "On her majesty's secret service" and because of the display case back and the free sprung movement, I decided to try ORF.

While there are many QC posts for VSF, I hadn't seen any pictures of ORF before.

I just received the qc pictures from my TD and dial looks to be a matt gray texture while it looks like glossy black ceramic with vsf and gen (I have only seen pictures online). Also the pattern on the dial looks somehow shallow.

I was wondering how everybody else thinks about this watch. Does the dial look off to you?

I'd appreciate any input.

Picked this beauty up over on UKrepBST from NWBIGUK, over the moon with the finishing. Third rep, have a VSF DJ36 and a ZF BB58 GMT, this is by far my favourite and the most premium looking/feeling.

Got this watch as a gift while traveling. Does it appear to be a GL off looks? Wondering if it looks to be VSF / serials look good?

Hi all. I am looking to post in ReptimeQC, but I am told I do not have sufficient contributions elsewhere. How does a new it post and get feedback from the experts in this field without being able to post?

I love this hobby and I had an extra bit of cash flow over the last few months so naturally my collection equally doubled. In the last two years I brought exactly the same amount of reps I have in the last three months.

They are all VSFs except I was lucky enough to be offered a few old stock original Cleans from my TD and the Navitimer is a V7F with a sw200-1 movement installed by the factory.

These are not all of them either. There is also a black 41mm Sub that I gisted to my brother and two more Daytonas that are not in the picture aswell.

I also brought an $11k Surron hyperbee ultra, but that hasn't brought me half as many smiles as the content of this little box that sits on my bedside table

Anyone had rotor noise with VSF 3235/3285?

New to this so thinking to get the rotor silenced from a TD along with waterproofing.

Any thoughts / recommendations??
