Today, a little package arrived from Hontwatch.

I know some people dislike this TD, but he’s still one of my favourites. I’ve only had experience with two others, though.

Here’s my little review:

Since the WhatsApp issues, communication has been a little slower, as everything is now handled by email.

All the questions I had about this watch were answered well, despite his broken English.

The transaction was pretty smooth, and I had my QC in around 7 working days.

After I gave the GL, the watch arrived within a week.

Watch looks great in real, did my "research" so I knew what to expect.

This is my third watch from Hont, and the overall experience has been great.

Received another pen as well, which is always a nice little gift.

Took the bracelets off these two and threw them on suede just to switch things up. I know Rolex sports models on leather can be pretty divisive, but I’m really liking how much it changes the personality of both watches.
Keep them on suede or put the bracelets back on?

After owning the real GMT master, VSF gmt master and RWF gmt master.

I can easily agree that RWF is the closest to the genuine GMT.

For obvious starters the rehaut on the gmt by VSF is thin, while RWF has perfect tall rehaut walls just like gen.

It uses true 904L steel, and it shines like genuine. VSF on the other hand uses 316L. People who claim the crystal on VSF are so great it’s worth overlooking all the obvious tell tales of the watch being a fake, are coping.

That new spreadsheet released as “who make the best” is suspicious in my opinion. I don’t know if this will be taken down because of my opinion.

But as someone who’s shown my GMT RWF, GMT VSF to a few miami watch makers. They all agree RWF takes the cake.

So why is VSF still #1 on the “who makes the best chart” when it’s already been exposed they are basically liars who advertised 904L. The DD movement is buns too, literally the self winding on both my VSFs needed servicing first day of owning it.

All in all, VSF is clearly only good for their Omegas, and APs, and possibly their Subs and Daytonas (Their RWF Daytona is better too). VSF needs work!

I feel like RWF GMTs barely get mentioned on reptime despite it being considered a NWBIG by multiple watch makers i showed it to. Is VSF paying reptime mods to advertise them as #1?

How much longer until RICH F and RWF get raided, but VSF still stands?

I’m just saying it’s a little sus.

OVERALL, if you want a very lovely GMT clone. Get the RWF GMT.

Just got my second piece to add to my collection just 12 days after getting my first ever piece from Steve (TD) . The addiction is in full effect. This time I went with a states side (USA) Non-TD. The watch arrived in 2 days after order using 2nd business day air shipping. This time I went with the iconic Pepsi Jubilee SS VSF v3. No need for the “v4” which is really called DD3285v2. Why pay extra for a fake Free Sprung ? The V3 models are still good. This watch came brand new and it’s beautiful. Very happy with the purchase and shopping experience . The seller has extensive history in different subreddits and the communication with the seller was elite. Still please be careful when buying from a Non-TD. Search the sellers name and check the seller reviews , account age and previous sales from search results before purchasing . I myself am very new to the watch community , and the subreddits here that I have joined have educated me on watches and I’ve learned a lot in a short period of time. The search bar is your best friend. I’ve learned about all the different factories and watch terminology all from being interested in super-clones. I blend in gen designer clothes , luxury cars , 14 k jewelry with a rep watch flawlessly. People haven’t been able to tell the difference when they look at or hold my watches. The compliments have been coming in waves. Even fooled a jeweler already. I usually just come clean and tell them it’s a rep. Just wanted to share my experience .

Hello fellow enthusiasts. My 3 highly modded watches from Li Chen have been stuck at customs for the past 10 business days. This is the first time I have had this issue. The worst part is two of these watches were sent for repair and were shipped as part of this package.

Courier service from China is asking me to reach out to customs as it could be duties related. I am not sure how to proceed as I have neither received a letter nor anything has changed in terms of status.

Would love to know if anyone else had a similar case and how it was dealt with. Mine are stuck in Mississauga.

I came across some posts on various social media platforms about this 50th-anniversary Ingenieur. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I was going to get one! There was a lot of confusion about who was making these Ingys again, so I spoke with my friend about who could supply me with this limited edition one. To my surprise, he said it wasn’t made by A7F or V7F, but rather “imitation V7F.” He took a chance and ordered it. This thing is amazing! When I received it, the A2892 movement was actually running pretty well. However, like I do with all my IWC watches, I replaced the movement with a Sellita.

For example, andiot has waiting list on Rolex VSF sub but other TDs on the Reptime.help list has it within a week or so. Considering that VSF is a factory - doesn’t the TDs get the same shipments at the same time?

Antes de fechar o modelo, mandei alguns e-mail para que ele verificasse a disponibilidade do modelo na fábrica e ele informou que o modelo OMG0884 tinha.

Comprei no dia 25/09/2026, e após a compra toda semana eu mandava perguntando o status e ele falava que estava aguardando a VSF.

Pois bem, agora 30 depois da compra ser feita, o Andrew me manda essa mensagem aqui abaixo. Isso é normal ou eu cai num golpe?

Hi guys, I initially messaged STEVE via WhatsApp I was told to reach out to him via telegram. I’ve now received messages at two and four in the morning asking if I’m free for 15 minutes to get the payment done. Was also told to send any transfer to one email and ensure after was told to not send any more to that email ever again. Is this the usual for STEVE or am I possibly dealing with a scammer?
