Ideas?
I am curious about what could be added to these paintings. Any ideas I could consider? Also, if a painting was originally done in oil, can I repaint over it in acrylic?

I took my mom's old painting she had forever and made it better, but she hates it!

Painting wooden things
Had a hard time finding a form to ask this, but I have a wooden object maybe several they were considering painting over to change the vibe of the object. What are people’s general thoughts on doing something like this, including a picture of the object for reference?

Ideas and Advice please.
Hi everyone, I’m getting ready to start on my first piece. I got this beauty at a thrift shop. Note there is a small tear in the middle so I need to do something with that. I was thinking maybe something with a fishing scene (either with pokeman and magic carp, or maybe something Calvin and Hobbes related fishing), maybe I could cut it open more and have a 3D scene with a pikachu inside performing a thunder shock move. Happy to hear any other ideas.
And any tips on how best to paint over or handle the tear?
Thanks!!

I think I’ve ruined it. The little totoros are scaled to large. 😥

How to darken this?
I bought this painting, imagining adding a storm and a shipwreck but it’s very bright. Is there a good way to make it darker, or do i just need to paint dark blue over that sky?

After accidentally being left at a rest area just east of Flagstaff as the rest of his family drove up to Blanchard Idaho in a UHaul, Mark was forced to get a camper and slowly make his way to meet up with them.
