Congressional Democrats are calling for a special counsel investigation of President Donald Trump after accusing him of being an “active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of young women in the mid-to-late 1990s,” according to a Monday report from MS NOW.

The accusation against Trump was made in an unsigned staff report from House Judiciary Committee Democrats, which claimed Trump took part in Epstein’s sex crimes and has now used his administration to “cover it up.”

MS NOW said the report had one new allegation against the president, but did not have any details on the alleged misconduct; the outlet added the report “provides no direct evidence other than the woman’s own conversations with Judiciary Committee staff.”
