Im not even sure how to began, the last two weeks were so weird that right now im looking for any kind of answer which could explain the phenoma, me and my wife experienced.

At first I thought that it was a simple deja vu moment, I was watching telly, when I did notice that I've already seen the exact TV guide yesterday. That would be probably an end to it if not for my wife, which asked the question:" hey, didn't we saw it yesterday?" I've looked at her with slight confusion. We started talking and naming the same movies/programs. We thought that maybe it was just coincidence as some programs repeat the pattern - movie late one evening, on next its earlier but no, we checked the guide and it was only that specific day with that movies. In the end we shrugged it and went to bed.

Next day did bring another deja vu moment where we seriously started to think thats something wrong. We did receive a letter about a late payment. Both of us almost jumped when we saw it, as both of us clearly remember moment when we have paid it, talked about it. It was clear to both of us as a memory, we could give details of the conversation, remember the day it happened. But as soon as we checked bank statements, no record of such payment. Someone could say, we just simply forgot about it. The thing is that my wife is mad accurate about payments and stuff, and to add caviar to the situation the letter stated that we missed last three payments. This put us in even bigger confusion as we both could recall the exact situation when my wife did the payments.

We sat down and started talking, bear in mind that besides the events mentioned here, my wife was talking a lot recently about that weird deja vu moments and how she was certain that she did remember somethings I didn't and was sure they happened, till the letter day I was shrugging it with laugh, saying that she lives maybe in different time line but the more we talked, the more we discovered. What was weird for us, that it was focused in recent 3 weeks.

To add background to the story, in regards to stuff like this we are opposites. My wife is more spiritual where I am a man of science. To be precise I dont negate the spiritual but prefer a science evidence.

Right now, though, I'm genuinely confused and curious. I'm not claiming that we've experienced anything paranormal, and I'm not trying to convince anyone that we've somehow switched timelines. I'm simply trying to understand what might explain two people seemingly remembering the same events that, according to the available evidence, never happened.

This is a wild one y'all. You know how female pants are notorious for fake pockets right? Well, I put on a pair of black jeans this morning (they're about ten years old, outdated skinny jeans) and it's always frustrated me they have fake non-functioning pockets. I can't help wondering if all of the ME's are the result of repeated resets that occur from catastrophic events where those who survive rebuild based on the memories of those who survived. There are memories of things that are no longer the case but many of them I am not quite 100% sure. Close but not quite 100%. But for me there is one item that I am 100% sure. I was a primary school teacher, and many times read to my students various books from the Berenstein Bears series. So when I discovered this phenomenon on-line, I said "no way". I looked and every source said the books were by Berenstain. And then I found an article in a Toronto newspaper in which a daughter of the Beresteins who wrote the series said, no, we have always been the Berenstains. Mind blown.

Even stranger is that Dreyfus born name differs from his parents so-called surname at the time of his birth; Dreyfuss. This looks like a glitch within the timeline to me.

If you prompt AI on this by itself, it'll say Dreyfuss changed his name by adding the extra S, but he never actually did. I've also seen this a lot. It's like how the floating kidney problem magically went away, but you realize that it's because the kidney's actually moved higher - that's why it "went away". Anyway..

It is assumed Dreyfus changed his name because his last name is now Dreyfuss. I think we refer to this as circular logic, because AI/LLM's operate as if our reality is in stone. It will admit this once you challenge it for a source, because there isn't a source. Reality is the source, heh.

i have this intuition that we are heading for a refined, much more sophisticated repetition of what might have already happened ~4000 years ago, a while after humanity was (according to the bible) struck by the flood commonly referred to the "Tower of Babel"

consider this: a Mesopotamian city, probably somewhere around the size of several tenthousand citizens while the entire Earth's population is just around 30 million people, so vastly different distribution of awareness compared to now

I'm curious to hear others' personal Mandela effect stories. I experienced a personal Mandela effect and an experience I'd best describe as time dilation.

No one else around me experienced this perceived change, and I haven't found any history of others noting it. It was an album by an artist I was obsessed with; the back cover had noticeably changed. I had hung the album on the wall as an art piece. It's something to this day I cannot explain, and a hill I'm willing to die on - something I feel I don't usually do, as I am quick to admit things I may be wrong about or be agreeable.

This is the missing propeller hat from the 1995 Billy Madison movie. This hat was originally on the cover of the movie Blu-ray/DVD/VHS as well in scenes during the movie. Not deleted scenes either. The first instance of the hat dissappearing in my reality was from the movie cover. Then I watched the movie and saw Adam Sandler wearing the hat during a classroom scene in the movie. Now there is no propeller hat in the movie at all. This is now only a memory from a parallel reality. For me the propeller hat disappeared from the cover 3 years ago. Entirely from existence in the movie within 2 years. This likely happened during my last 4 parallel reality shifts.
