Can I ask what merch you would ACTUALLY buy from your schools program department or students' association?

Do y'all prefer clothing with big department branding on it, or smaller branding? Would you want to buy totes? water bottles? what about stickers or temporary tattoos?

I've been in the CVT program for 3 semesters now and I've got to say it is one of the most densely packed and overworked I've ever felt in my life. 6 classes a semester feels like concrete grinding against my face. I know there's always the "you chose this" but I did not expect it to be this demanding. The common rule of 2 hours of study per 1 hour of class physically cannot apply here since there is already around 5 hours of school time a day (25 hours in a week) which would add up to 75 hours! If you've got a job, social life, or anything outside of school, this is simply unmanageable. Nearly all free time I've had before just evaporated into homework grinding and it is genuinely miserable. Dropping out is not an option for me unfortunately and I have to stick through until graduation but I would seriously advise anybody considering CVT to be very sure about going into it. In my mind before getting into it, I thought, "it's a 2 year diploma course and the requirements are relatively low, it must not be too demanding." But sure enough, it is very stressful.

Anybody interested in this program? I got accepted for 2027 Fall (although it’s my backup plan but I don’t put much hope on other healthcare programs) and wanna see if I can meet some of future classmates here🫠

It feels like the very existence of SAITSA's dental plan actually makes it harder for low income students to access affordable, comprehensive dental benefits. Is this something SAITSA just hasn't considered or is there something I'm missing here? Because having access to the SAIT dental coverage has put me in a substantially worse position than before with less access to dental care.

Has anyone written their PSEA for MRT Fall 2027 yet? I will be brushing up on my physics and basic math, and studying the alis website. Are there any other areas I should brush up on to be prepared?

I'm in my second semester currently, and I'd like your feedback on which courses you found difficult as well as which courses you found really enjoyable during the duration of your program.

If possible include classes from all 4 semesters.

I do know there is quite a bit of information out there on EET in this subreddit, but most responses are a few years old at this point

Personally I've found Electrical Analysis (291) and both math classes (280 and 237) to be the most challenging. I've found both Technical Communications classes to be the most enjoyable so far. I'm curious what to expect in 3rd and 4th semester

Has anyone still not get their invitation for casper and psea? I applied one program on the first day and another the next day but mine is still on awaiting decision. I’m so worried I won’t get in now😭

I’m trying to study for the PSEA but am kind of lost as I’ve never taken before. Should I be studying anatomy as a whole or focus more on one area (cardiac, abdominal, neurological)?? Is it pretty physics focused (I know dms course is largely physics, hence why I ask this)? Is the math portion more foundations or calculus? What can I do to study for the English portion? Any answers help, just hoping to prepare as best as possible.

Has anyone gotten an invite to take their CASPER/PSEA today? I heard that most people who did not get an invite on Friday were supposed to get one on Monday, so I was wondering if anyone has received one today. Stressing because I applied when applications opened and have not heard anything back from SAIT :(

Does anyone know how long it takes for SAIT to review your application and send you an admission email? I applied for the early childhood education diploma fall 2027 on the 20th which is a little late (I had issues with applying for a couple of days) and my application says their waiting for a decision. Do the admission decisions take weeks or is it something else?

I was denied from Tedi's Market earlier because I did not have cash and I was really banking on being able to get something from there as I cannot access another food bank hamper for about 4 days. Hi everyone! I’m planning to apply to SAIT’s MRT (Medical Radiologic Technology) and Sonography programs on November 3rd or 4th. Is that too late to apply? Do I still have a chance of getting admitted?
I’m currently waiting for my English test results, and I’m feeling so stressed about the whole process. 😭

Has anyone taken the MLT PSEA exam yet? I'm just wondering if they changed any of the questions to make them harder or easier than last year's exam. I'm still waiting for the email to take the exam but I feel like it should be coming soon hopefully.

hi, if I pay now for the psea tests for both MRT and DMS programs do I have to write it immediately or can I reserve a day?? I’m definitely not ready to write it immediately.

So I wanna book my Casper for SAIT for Dec 1 or November 29 and they need a couple weeks to process but idk how many it takes to process by CASPer and SAIT and I can’t do November 5 since its way too soon. Would I still be considered first round of applicants if that decision is made between Jan 18-22?
