This 6 month baby is refusing all her wet and dry food that she loved just last month :(
Even if I am strict and dont give anything she will go whole day without food .
Finally had to give in and make fresh chicken . But Im worried about missing nutrients. Going to visit vet to get some supplements.
Any other suggestions welcome :-)

Our pup (5 year old adopted shih tzu) stays with my in-laws for a couple nights every 6 weeks or so. The longest she's stayed with them was for 3 weeks straight last May. They used to have a shih tzu, and they're great with dogs in general.
It seems like more often than not, on night 1 or night 2, she'll begin to have the runs and need to go out 1-2 / night to use the bathroom. So, my in-laws ultimately return her home early, and then for up to 1 week her stomach is ultra sensitive and then usually settles down.
Is it just nervous doing this to her - i.e. the change of location / routine?
We want them to be able to dog sit her, and feel like if we gave them the dog once a month for 5 nights or so she would get used to being there, but we're caught in this loop of her having tummy issues on night 1 or 2 and then needing to be returned back to us.
Thoughts? This happen to anyone else?

Brought the lil one out to run errands for the first time (except when he went to the vet) he was confused why he had to stay outside with mom and kept coming to the door π he walked really well beside me i was surprised! Itβs his first time walking outside! Didnβt pee / poop when out so guess we gotta work on that.
zonked out on the way home!
His brothers were at the spa if you were wondering

We got this gorgeous boy yesterday! My son named him Joe at first but now says his name is Bear. I'm wondering which yall think is better?
This is the picture the lady I got him from sent me. It's hard to take a good picture of him since he looks like a shadow from most angles.

Lunas favorite pet store had a backdrop up for Halloween so we went over for a picture! She growled like a tiger putting it on too π

Miss thing didnβt want to get out of bed today so she decided to sleep in. It looks like sheβs having a terrible time, snoozing and being swaddled in her sloth blankie π

My partner and I adopted this guy over the weekend and he is pretty much perfect.
Question for those more knowledgeable about Shih Tzus, does yours make a rumbling noise that almost sounds like a cross between a growl and a cat purr?

I posted a few days ago about our family getting our first dog, and she came home yesterday! She's a 10 week old Shichon and she's doing so well. She was a surprise for my kids and they were overjoyed, my middle daughter was actually crying with happiness lol.
We're taking name suggestions! Some of our top ideas are Hazel; Fern; Biscuit; and Twix.

I'm so late to thus community, but here are my little senior bubz..
Minnie (F) 10yrs old (picture #1 and #4) and she is the most amazing mommy to Bunny (M) 7 yrs old (picture #3).. sadly, papa Choco (8yrs old) (#6 and #7) passed away in 2021 and we miss him dearly everyday!
Hope to learn how to take care of senior pups especially cuz they are so fragile yet resilient.

Hello all! This is my Louis who eats from a cat bowl. He won't allow us to put his bowl on his mat next to his water bowl.
Nope. No way.
He finally started eating some of his breakfast after much cajoling. I'll be posting a lot about my 13 1/2 year-old best friend. ππΎ

I donβt know whatβs happening can someone please point me into the right direction.
her eye lid randomly started to bulge. Then she got this raised rash on her tummy. So I thought maybe sheβs been bitten or stung as she wants to keep itching her eye. But now the bumps on her belly have gotten worse even after a luke warm bath, and another lump is forming under her other eye. She did have a small pin prick mark of dried blood on her eye lid so I donβt know if sheβs been stung as it started from the eye?
