Hello stamp friends! đ
Weâre so glad youâre sharing your mail with the community.
Just a little reminder, While mail art is always nice to see, this subreddit is all about stamps, so they should be the star of every post.
If youâd like to include the back of an envelope or postcard, thatâs totally fineâjust please add it as the second slide so stamps remain the main focus of r/StampEmUp.
Thanks for helping keep this space organized, stamp-centered, and enjoyable for everyone! đŹâ¨

Weâre so glad you found your way to our cozy corner of Reddit!
This is a place for people who love stamps, sending mail, and all the little things that make snail mail special. Whether youâre sending a letter, decorating an envelope, admiring a new stamp, or simply getting excited about something fun you found at the post office, weâre happy to have you here. đŽ
So, what do we like to see?
We love seeing stamps in actionâon letters, postcards, envelopes, packages, and mail art. We also love new stamps, fun stamp combinations, interesting cancellations, beautiful designs, and anything that makes you think, âOoh, I want to put that on some mail!â
And yes, unused stamps are absolutely welcome! If you just picked up a sheet of stamps that youâre excited to use, show them off! You donât have to wait until theyâve made it onto an envelope. đ
What we arenât is a traditional stamp-collecting space. Posts that are primarily about collections or albums arenât quite what weâre about. Weâre here to celebrate using and enjoying stamps, rather than building a collection.
Weâre also not a marketplace or exchange group, so buying, selling, trading, swapping, or offering/requesting stamps isnât allowed. If youâre wondering where to find a particular stamp, though, ask away! Weâre happy to help each other track down those little pieces of postage.
And, of course, keep things kind, keep things postal, and keep the stamps the star. â¨
Not sure if your post fits?
Ask yourself: Are the stamps the star?
If they are, youâre probably in the right place. â¤ď¸
Thanks for being part of r/StampEmUp. Whether youâre a longtime mail enthusiast or someone who just discovered the joy of putting a pretty stamp on an envelope, weâre glad youâre here.

If youâve got any questions, feel free to message the moderators via mod mail. Weâre happy to assist you!
Happy stamping! đâ¨

The yellowish looking big Canadian stamp is a stereogram stamp, tilted one way it says 1999, tilted the other it says 2000.

Showing off some of my stamp haul from a couple of weeks ago. The stamps were bought from two different online sellers, at somewhat below face value.
Some of the stamps I've also owned before, some are new to me. I'm especially excited about the "everyman's rights" booklet. The stamps turned out to be fun shapes, and the pictures match some of my hobbies / interests.

I was very tired at 2am trying to get my outgoing mail ready and made this attempt. Couldn't for the life of me find any 1 cent stamps so they are both +2 cent... but it is what it is lol
Both unmachineable..

First, thank you to everyone who encouraged going to stamp shows and giving tips. I was nervous, but glad I did it and was easy! Hardest things to do are just new ones!
The community was welcoming and excited to see me there. I walked in and one person looked a me and said, âoh look, a young person!â đ
I already have a collection around 1,000 stamps⌠so I didnât NEED anything, but was fun to see so many stamps in person (versus buying on eBay).
I found a table with face value sheets and sat down for an hour just flipping through. Got some restocks, new ones, and more Christmas with the upcoming holiday. I also prioritized $.30 range for postcards (I like a 32+33 when I need a quick one).
I also picked up 2 sheets of forever stamps that were 10% below face value at another booth, was fun to see the selection they had from the 2000s (but not everything).
My favorites are the New Yearâs Eve baby (which I had on my wishlist), and the 32 midnight angels which I havenât seen before. I picked those up for postcards, but they appear to be Christmas themed as well! And was very excited to see the farmers market, forever stamps, especially the baked goods left side stamps!

I love this sub! I saw some great ideas in the past for Halloween stamps that helped me think a little more outside the box. I used the Halloween stamps I had and tried to find other scary non-halloween stamps. I paired them with my spooky Deep Sea Creatures and tried to keep the color palette the same on them. I also put some minerals on there to round them out. My favorite stamp is definitely the petrified wood! đť Thanks for the ideas!!!

Newbie here. I have these old Disney stamps I want to use, but they are huge and only $.30. How can I fit them on an envelope?!

Off the Australia đŚđ
This one features a fun 'heat-activated' space stamp. Hopefully it survived the trip across the globe!
