was watching a gameranx video today about upcoming games and spotted what is clearly the X303 in a clip for the game star wars eclipse. not sure if this has been posted before because the trailer came out aprox 2022 but its new to me.

Sorry if asked before. I did search previous posts but couldn’t find one.

Why does the Stargate have the symbol for earth (we all love), as a sun above a pyramid? When the Goa’uld’s Ha’taks wouldn’t have been around at the time the gates were created, and the ancients did not use pyramid design language?

My guess is it’s just a TV continuity error, but wondered if there was any theories or head canon you guys have?

After her debut it seemed like she'd be a very important character in the future, due to her technical knowledge which rivals Sam's. It seemed like she'd be the next Sam Carter. But we never see her again. Even in episodes in the future where they are working in tech stuff and she could have made a cameo to help.

I'm Hungarian, but I'm learning German and I'm currently at a B1 level. For immersion, I subscribed to the Zattoo service with which you can watch German cable TV through the internet if you have a VPN set to Germany.

I was delighted to discover that one of the available channels, Tele 5, is airing Stargate and Stargate Atlantis dubbed into German every weekday afternoon. SG-1 is currently at the Season 2 episode "Spirits" and Atlantis is at the Season 2 episode "Duet".

Since I'm already pretty familiar with Stargate, it makes it pretty easy to understand things in German as I have a rough idea of what the characters will be talking about in each episode, perfect for immersion!

The robot Sg1 team had all the skills of Sg1 but with enhanced strength and durability. Seeing as how much Sg1 kicks ass, do you think they could have used his help in building more of them? Imagine an army of O'neills but with enhanced strength and durability taking on the Goa'uld, replicators, and other enemies.

Got kind of obsessed with the idea of a watch where the bezel is the gate, so I spent way too long designing one.

Some details I'm pretty happy with:

- all 39 glyphs are on the bezel in the actual ring order, with the chevrons around the outside and Earth's point of origin at 12

- the dial has a ripple texture that's meant to look like the event horizon

- the seconds hand is a Jaffa staff weapon

- the hour hand ends in the point of origin pyramid

- the back is a clear caseback and the winding rotor is the SGC emblem

There are 4 colorways: Milky Way (amber chevrons), Pegasus (blue), Ancient (gold) and Dormant (all black). Pegasus is my favorite but I keep going back and forth.

These are 3D renders, not a real watch yet. I used AI to help build the renders and the design files. I'd love to actually get one made for myself on a Seiko NH35, so if anyone knows a watch modder who does custom dials and bezels, please send them my way. Just a personal one-off, not something I'm selling.

Which one would you wear?

Might slowly move through the episodes, one or two at a time...

This might be premature and probably a pretty hot take, but I'm currently on season 6 episode 7 and Im really liking Jonas quinn and I actually like him more then I liked Daniel Jackson, to me Jonas is a lot more level headed in regards what SG1s mission is. The thing I disliked the most about Daniel Jackson was how much of his character was written was to be this overly ethical person who wouldn't yield to anyone else's view point. And I think Jonas has been a much better counterpart to Jack.

Figured i might as well start moving forwards towards the 30th, i might do one episode a day... just a few per images episode

Hey there!

Hope this fits here.

I started to design a graphic for a Stargate shirt with elements of the earths dialling computer screen. I definitely want to add an address that's locked in but I've been drawing a blank. I've been thinking of using Abydos as it's where it's started but it feels a bit lame haha. I think there are definitely some really cool planets but it's been some time and nothing specific comes to mind.

I thought I'd ask here which planet you would use in my case, maybe I'll get some inspiration :D

I'd obviously need one where the address is known to the watcher but feel free to state any planet that was especially memorable etc. to you. Interests me nonetheless :)

Was surprised to see this in a bin with other random stuff, vendor asked 5euro for it.

Now hear me out... most people have an innie belly button but if you have an outie turn it into the Kawoosh 🤣

Jack considers Kawalsky a friend and apparently knew him since at least 1982(Gamekeeper- on the mission )

But also Kawalsky somehow didn’t know Jack had a son ( children of the gods)

In there but for the grace of god Kawalsky is Jacks best friend.

What do you think the relationship between the 2 of them is supposed to be in our reality? We don’t see a lot of external long term mourning for Kawalsky from Jack but that’s kind of the character. How close do we think they are- did they just not see each other at all between 82 and 96? Is he just whatever the writers need him to be in a random moment?

Thoughts?

What I wouldn't give to watch this episode for the first time again!

Including the classic such as

Dammit Daniel, Close the damn thing, p90 fire for 5 minutes straight and my favorite the sound of Dr. Fraser getting hit by staff blast.

Have any of the writers come out with what the signal in the cosmic microwave background was going to be? I imagine they had at least some idea of it.

I was thinking it wolf be cool if each of the SG treams provided specific roles for the SGC. And they created a series where each season they should showcase a different SG team. Or could alternate teams to showcase them all in stand alone episodes.

I just feel like it was a wasted opportunities to have all these teams and only showcase a handful thoughout the 10 year run.

Or craft.

I have nothing at the moment and i've watched the shows probably 20 times.

Would love to get something that looks professional.

Felger and Koombs rightfully got the glory for saving SG-1, but he still volunteered for a rescue mission when it seemed they had failed. Even Hammond seemed impressed.

Personally, my favorite has to be when he was stingy with his ice cream, then proceeds to force a swap to try O'Neill's
