How do you feel about the DCU using Kara's Silver Age origin instead of her Post-Crisis origin?
Honestly, not a fan. I'm used to Kara being older than Clark, but becoming younger because of reasons (time dilation, stasis in her pod, or stuck in the Phantom Zone), as that is how it is in every other iteration.
Even Woman of Tomorrow, which the movie is loosely based on, has her older than Clark.
It just adds more to her character. Her baby cousin who she was supposed to take care of, grew up and is now older than her; being raised by people who most likely did a better job than she probably would have.
It's my biggest issue with the DCU version of Supergirl.
Hell, even Barry Allen had an origin change after Crisis. Pre-Crisis, both his parents were alive and well. Post-Crisis, his mother was killed by the Reverse Flash and his father was framed for it; and that origin stuck. It's now just integral to his character, just like Kara's Post-Crisis origin.
The Post-Crisis origin gives her an interesting dynamic with her once-younger-now-older cousin, who she used to babysit and take care of when he was an infant. She lived on Krypton while he only heard stories of it from the Fortress archives. However accurate those archives are about Krypton, they feel impersonal. When Clark meets her, he finds someone who lived there and tells him stories about his home planet; someone who makes it feel real.
With her being younger than him in this universe and only growing up on a chunk of Krypton, they lose that fun dynamic; with him just being her older cousin, full stop. And even she doesn't know Krypton fully, just hearing stories about it from the other Kryptonians around her.
Well, these were my thoughts. Feel free to tell me yours.

Disliked traits
So I’m going to ask as many superhero fanbases as I can this question. What are some traits about this hero that you hate, dislike or despise? Anywhere from a mild annoyance to a trait that would make you dislike any other character. I’m not talking about a way one writer in particular wrote them, or a time they were out of character or mishandled, I mean a reoccurring trait this character has.

I'd really like to see a DCU spin-off show where Dan Turpin and Maggie Sawyer are PIs in Metropolis.

Matthew Lillard has indicated that his MAN OF TOMORROW character is not from the comics: "It's a very James Gunn moment."

Notice a farm called Superman while looking on Google Maps
Several days ago, someone posted about what I think was a lane literally called Lois Lane. Just under curiousity, I went to search up places on Google Maps and one of the things I searched up was Superman and it got me this farm literally called Superman but I can't see the farm according to this one photo which was taken in 2023. I'm going to keep checking if there are other places named after Superman characters like Jimmy Olsen, Perry White, and even villains like Lex Luthor or even General Zod. Who knows what others streets or places are named after these characters.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate Superman’s rogues gallery?
Many people would rate Batman’s rogues and Spider-Man’s rogues an 8, 9, or 10 due to how great and iconic they are. How would you rate Superman’s rogues?

Superman is more than “hopecore,” and being good doesn’t make him flawless.
Superman executes the Kryptonian prisoners — Superman #22 (1988), post-Crisis
After their destruction of a pocket universe’s Earth, Superman executes three already depowered Kryptonians.
Superman threatens a corrupt businessman — Action Comics #1 (2011), New 52
Superman scares a confession out of Glenmorgan by throwing him off a rooftop.
Superman terrifies Manchester Black — Action Comics #775 (2001), post-Crisis
Superman makes Manchester Black believe he has killed his teammates and permanently removed his powers.
Superman demolishes a neighbourhood — Action Comics #8 (1939), Golden Age
After arranging for residents to leave, Superman demolishes their unsafe housing to force the government to replace it.
Superman deliberately causes a mine collapse — Action Comics #3 (1938), Golden Age
Clark deliberately traps a negligent mine owner and his guests underground so they experience the danger his workers face.

If there was ever a show that deserved superlative material…
It’s so weird how this show has no merchandise or real promotional material outside of the basic trailers, and probably a poster or two.
This show needs a tie in game, a toy line, incredible movies with gorgeous animation that bomb at the box office a La Batman: Mask of the Phantasm!

Kryptonian Anatomy + Krypto (Milkydraws8's Earth-888)
Side notes: In this AU Kryptonians are descendants of humanity from the distant future (for reasons that are still unclear, the wider galaxy isolated and imprisoned Krypton within its own solar system) similar to Red Son. As Krypton's situation worsened, Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van sent their infant son Kal-El over a thousand years into the past using an illegal device built with Phantom Zone technology.
Sunlight helps Kryptonians photosynthesize and produce energy for their cells, but not in the comic-book sense where it directly makes them stronger. They still need to eat and in extremely dark environments they would mainly lose that supplemental energy source rather than their abilities. They would only become sluggish if they were already starving themselves.
Freeze breath is part of their body's cooling system rather than a dedicated power. Kryptonians store supercooled air that acts as a heat sink when normal heat loss isn't enough and expelling too much of it too quickly can leave them overheated for minutes or even hours, with extreme overuse potentially causing internal injuries.
Their strength and durability are also biological traits rather than effects of stored solar energy, coming from tougher muscles, denser bones, thick skin, biohydraulics and non-Newtonian blood. They do not possess traditional super speed either; instead they can fly very fast while their brains allow them to perceive events much more slowly.
