i was curious about the symbology in this painting, by a swedish christian-spiritualist artist made in the early 20th century. the triangle i assumed is the alchemical symbol for water and/or a reference to the holy trinity. and the symbol above that looks like the pisces zodiac sign. but the inverted 2 i have no idea about, i was wondering if anyone here knows what associations it may have. i tried looking around but couldn't find anything.

thank you in advance!

Greetings! I have a schizophrenic friend of mine, he had recently been vague posting. I've tried doing research on this but I'm lost, didn't know if anyone had seen this before. Anything helps.

i found it at a thrift store for like $5. it’s from the brand chicos but i couldn’t find it on their website

i think it’s probably just meant to look pretty, which i think it does! but i thought id ask just incase

all help is appreciated <3

Title: Artificial Purple Irises Mysteriously Placed on My Property — Any Symbolic Meaning?

I discovered a bunch of artificial purple flowers, which appear to be irises, neatly placed beside my recycling bin.

They weren't there the previous night, as far as I'm aware.

What's particularly curious is their positioning. They were laid flat, slightly in front of and to the side of the bin, with the flower heads pointing directly towards my house.

The location means someone would have had to come onto my property to leave them there.

I've been researching the symbolism of purple irises and discovered their historical associations with wisdom, courage, remembrance, hope and Iris, the messenger goddess in Greek mythology.

I'm curious whether anyone recognises this arrangement or knows of any folklore, cultural traditions or symbolic meanings associated with leaving artificial purple flowers outside someone's home.

Could it be a gesture with a particular meaning, or simply an unusual coincidence?

I'd particularly appreciate perspectives from people familiar with flower symbolism, folklore or historical traditions.

Photo attached for reference.

I came across this symbol at a gym and was curious about its origins and possible meaning.

The three red triangular shapes remind me of the Norse Valknut, while the circular elements seem quite different.

Does anyone recognise this exact design, or know whether it has connections to Norse, Celtic, or other historical symbolism?

I'm particularly interested in its actual origins rather than speculative interpretations. Any information would be appreciated!

I apologize for the low resolution, this was a screen grab from a video.

I'm trying to figure out what the symbol is on this guy's hat.

(I could mention a few more examples besides these but I believe these are enough)

Posted before, forgot to attach pic 🤦‍♂️ . This drawing I discovered today - Ottawa, ON. This is a gutted commercial space that was apparently home base for some senior executives. The piece was cut out to patch a hole in drywall and left unfastened with the symbol facing inward. I’m pretty sure it’s commercial ceiling tile material and cannot tell if it was drawn before or after cutting it to that size. Not much luck running it through AI. What doesn’t all mean Basil??

I dont know where its from I just remember a friend giving it to me a while back and I am curious😋

This was a tiny little symbol on the copper plates inside Hail Mary. Is there any significance to these or were they merely just generalized symbols?

My partner and I are considering something like this as a tiny tattoo and I just wanted to dig a little. Whatever they are, probably won't stop us, we like the shape and memories shared with PHM and our lives.

Thanks for all the help, even if we don't know. *smiles*

What structures, patterns, or geometries do you independently recognize? Does anyone recognize this Pattern or Symbol in the center?

Only enhancements were cropping and Lightroom's Radial Gradient tool solely to reduce luminosity. No AI-generated imagery, filters or photo fakery.

We are investigating the origins and apparent organization of recurring patterns in astronomical photographs.

We are looking for independent assistance - qualified observations, alternative explanations, and testable hypotheses are welcome.

r/whatisthisthing sent me to you guys. Hoping to learn what this means. Google doesn't provide much beyond references to a volatility index, and black and decker stock. Hoping you guys can help a guy out.

I posted in another subreddit ( https://www.reddit.com/r/handbags/s/41q8Gv1Yta ) more pictures there. I haven't gotten anything but crickets over there. Basically I am trying to find the maker of this logo. I own the Crossbody purse and have been trying to identify the maker. The only thing I've found is a briefcase on a Hungarian second hand site. It doesn't look like they know either. I tried contacting them and they never replied, and the description on the Hungarian site doesn't appear to state the maker, but I was using google translate and google AI to figure it out. Thanks in advance!

This morning when i got to my car, i saw that someone has drawn these symbols on to my windows.. Do they mean something or are they just random ? One of them lowkey looks like a swastika but I'm not sure.. can someone identify them? Thank you!

I saw this symbol in an intense dream after I’ve had some interesting spiritual experiences during a time of heavy grief after a few different losses.

It wasn’t necessarily written in red, I think it was drawn in black ink on a white background. The drawing app I used just wouldn’t let me change the background colors.

Other than a possible Venn diagram, does anyone have any other ideas?

I had a strange dream where I was in my old high school classroom, and my old teacher had said “you finally made it!”
I saw this symbol at the end very prominently. I woke up at 2:42 AM to write it in my notes, it’s a 5 with dashes on each side.
