Considering doing a self transfer in TPE with a 4 hour layover (2 separate bookings). I will be checking a bag- I have read a couple posts that say you do not have to exit the airport and recheck your luggage? Does anyone have experience with this and the transfer counters? Hi I’m looking for 蛋饼 recommendations!! The mom and pop breakfast shop kinds with the soft flour wrap instead of a crispy dry flaky wrap.

I know it’s kind of silly but I’ve tried a few of the recommended ones with a flaky wrap (North Pastry / No Name) and while they’re nice, it’s not up my alley.

EDIT: I’m aware they’re everywhere and it’s abit silly to ask! It’s just that some places don’t do them very well and make it whatever. Looking for a place that makes it genuinely nice!

ik halloween isnt as celebrated here, but like how many costumes is considered too much? rn i have three planned but tbh idk if i should wear it to campus (NTU) im worried i might look like a freak or scare ppl, especially since one of my looks is more on the gory side

I'm planning a trip to Taiwan and I don't want to bring my bigger bag with me to Alishan, where I will be staying for two nights (but in different spots and I don't want to have to return to the first hotel/spot to pick things up, etc.). I'm trying to find the best option for leaving my bag or forwarding my bag.

I will be in Chiayi the night before, and my plan is to go back to Taipei on the fourth night (i.e. Night 1: Chiayi Night 2: Alishan Night 3: Alishan Night 4: Taipei). Is there a service in Chiayi that will either hold my bag for that long without costing a ton, or a luggage forwarding service from Chiayi to Taipei? I've heard of services at FamilyMart or 7-11 but I don't know how to find their restrictions and such.

Planning to come to Taiwan for higher need insights about this university

Hello Everyone, So I'm an international student here in taipei on an internship and I like to hang out however I found it hard to find friends who would like to hang out with me, I like nature, hikes and physical activities. I also like to try any new experience or learn something new.

I'm looking for people to hangout with, we can go to e7play or any fun place, or just have picnic somewhere or go on a hike or go to a board game cafe or an escaperoom or just cook something together....

I don't drink alcohol and I don't like parties, I mostly prefer calmer atmospheres and smaller groups but I also like to have fun. I don't speak Mandarin.

Anyone would like to hangout? Or have any suggestions on activities to do or places to go? Even if alone?

This is my first time creating a server and idk if I did things right, so whoever have a suggestion to make it better please let me know.

For the 1st round application for NTU why is it not working? I have tried multiple in many different electronics and none of them seem to work and there hasn’t been any big disclaimer for the application website to be down. I’m honestly kind of scared since the application deadline is getting close. Does anyone have any idea or reason for this happening?. Please let me know.

I know this might seem like a long shot but hopefully someone else will get value out of this by seeing cool Halloween events listed. I’ve never been to Taipei but I’ll be there on Halloween and I’m really interested in finding an event where I could read tarot (in English😬). And yes, I’m an experienced, professional tarot reader.

I’ve read at private parties and costume parties at high end clubs, before. Thanks for anyone who has ideas or hookups! I just figure I might be a novelty that people would enjoy.
