i have a 2.66 highschool gpa, 1190 on the sat, only a few extracurriculars, and a pretty strong essay. i had major issues in highschool and didnt show up a lot hence the bad grades. what are my chances of acceptance?

I just recently applied here, and I feel like the rest of my resume/transcript looks good but my GPA is low. Im at a 2.8, but I have a strong essay, extracurricular activity, service hours, a very strong junior year & upward trend in my grades.
im seeing a whole bunch of mixed answers on here and idk what to think. (thinking i might’ve wasted $50)

I’m done with all my classes for my major and need some advice on some easy electives. I have already taken COSC109, YOGA, SOCI101. Anybody have some advice on some other easy electives? Thanks in advance.

Hey guys! I’m looking for someone to takeover my lease for University Village for the spring semester ASAP. I live with three other girls who are super chill and the apartment is decorated really nicely. It overlooks the parking complex and I live in building 1 so it’s right next to the steps.
Some things included
* Free Laundry a few steps away
* Decorated apartment
* 65 inch TV in the living room
* Dish Washer
* Private bedroom
* Full sized bed
Please contact me if you are genuinely thinking about it!

Hi all, me (21m) and my gf (20f) recently moved to Towson. Neither of us are university students but we were interested in possibly "attending" classes at Towson University.
I graduated from Rutgers and there it was quite easy to sneak into classes you aren't actually enrolled in. You would often get noticed in smaller classrooms but never in the larger lecture halls.
Would it be possible to do something similar at Towson University? Does anyone have any tips for sneaking into classes?
I know you're technically not supposed to do this so I hope this isn't in bad taste. Idk, we both just like to learn and don't want to have to pay a million bucks to do it.
Thanks!

Wanted to post this as a fair warning because I literally just had to deal with this tonight, and people need to know how these late-night shifts work before getting stuck on the Gold Route.
Normally, the regular on-campus Gold buses run fine, though there’s even one of those regular campus drivers during the day who likes to pull this stuff. Tonight, the normal campus bus driver told me at first that the bus was done running and put it out of service.
After that, the route gets taken over by a secondary third-party company called Connect. That’s when everything falls apart, because these contractor drivers straight-up do not care.
Tonight, I was dealing with this transition on the Gold Route, and the Connect bus was an absolute disaster. The driver told me he was done, and instead of running a normal route, the bus skipped a ton of major stops on the first pass—including #4, #5, #26, #7, #58, and #14.
It got so infuriating that I ended up having to bail out and get off early at #57 Commons Building. The worst part? I watched that exact same bus loop around and actually hit #7 Marshall Hall the second time around, meaning I wouldn't have even had to get off so soon if the driver hadn't been messing around—seeing it stop there after I got forced off just made me completely pissed.
For reference, here is the official Gold Route stop order straight from the app:
#1 University Union
#3 Lot 5 Unitas Stadium
#4 Lot 6 Field House (skipped twice)
#5 Lot 8 Towson Center/SECU Arena (skipped twice)
#26 Lot 8B Child Care Center (skipped twice)
#27 Union Loop
#57 Commons Building (where I was forced to get off early)
#7 Marshall Hall (skipped that one time, but hit on the second pass)
#35 Burdick Hall
#58 Liberal Arts (skipped that one time)
#36 Professional Health
#12 Scarborough Hall
#13 Stephens Hall
#14 Glen Garage/Admin Bldg (skipped that one time)
Has anyone else had these late-night Connect drivers completely blow past your Gold Route stops once the regular campus buses switch over?

Does anyone know when decisions come out for nursing spring ‘27? I know they’ve said mid October but it’s the 18th now so I’m just wondering if anyone has an idea of when they come out or when they’ve released them in the past. Thanks!

In his first career start at quarterback against Stony Brook, true freshman Jacob Davis put up a huge game with 403 yards of total offense (337 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, and 66 rushing yards).

I saw him up by Ebisu on the way to work he'll probably work his way down to campus soon if he hasnt already.
Ive been on campus for 5+ years now and this guy has been here since before that. His story is exactly the same as it was 5 years ago too. He didnt even try to change it up at all.
For anyone who doesnt know he basically comes up to you and complains about students calling him racial slurs. Then asks you for gas money. Im assuming the slurs are meant to throw you off guard so youre more likely to give him money. But if you know you shouldn't fall for it.

Hi! i currently go to community college in cecil county, and want to transfer to either Towson, MICA, or UMBC to be closer to my grandparents in their old age. Cost is not a problem for me, so i’m between schools for a couple of reasons
I was wondering for the critique request, how strict are they with portfolio reviews? i’m guessing i’d be set with what i have now (examples shown) but im just a bit unsure of their specific requirements. i also have a 3.8 GPA at community college right now, and am finishing out my professional photography certificate.
