Does anyone own a Madone gen 8 and size xs. I want to buy one but struggling with the look of the smaller Madones I find the slop is exaggerated. I always liked the look of the Treks but this time I’m not sure.

Folks is my seat post too high? I essentially have it at the max capability, so I know on paper it is fine.
However for the sake of safety and structure integrity when going over hard bumps or so, would this be a concern.
Basically wondering if i should order the longer seat post from Trek?

I built this for myself when I was buying my Trek. It turned out to be pretty useful, so I'm sharing it:
https://xxiaoweix.github.io/trek-price-finder/
It only lists bikes that are actually in stock at US shops. For each bike you see the cheapest shop first, and you can click to see every other shop that has it. Pick as many models, years, sizes, colors and states as you want, and click any column to sort. Your search is saved in the link, so you can bookmark it or send it to a friend. There's also a column for the lowest price I've seen for that bike anywhere in the US. The prices get updated once a week.
I use it to ask my local bike shop for a price match.
It covers Trek's 10 most popular models. If yours is one of them, just use the page. If you want a different model and know your way around GitHub, feel free to fork it and do whatever you want with it: https://github.com/xxiaoweix/trek-price-finder. It is even easier if you use Muse or other AI agents.
It's just a personal project I made for my own use. It's free. No ads, no sign-up.

Ok - I'm looking into my first road bike. The bottom line is that I really like Di2. Like really, really like it, but don't want a race geometry (e.g. X-Labs RS7). I really like the endurance geometry of the Trek Domane AL 5. Would I be insane for getting the base model Domane and doing a Di2 upgrade? That might give me the desired geometry and flexability for wheel size etc. without going Nuts-0 with a full carbon Domane. I don't know all that much about 'what's appropriate' in the road riding world, but I want something that is generally comfortable and that I want to ride. Happy to hear how crazy I am or if people would support this kind of endeavour.

Perguntas:
O plano B é usar o de origem, sem ser aero, e usar um extensor com clip-ons de 31,8 mm. Essa é a melhor opção?
Obrigado!

My Madone sl7 gen 8 is as good as it gets for speed and endurance. More responsive and lighter on climbs than my previous Domane gen 4 sl6.

We are talking 3 years. The tires needed so much air, but it holds up great!

Today's my day to post a PSA to always bring a small pump, tube and tire with you on rides. I didn't and had the walk of shame to get home. 40 mins of walking. Could have been worse and been a 3 hour walk.
Did give me an excuse to get this pirelli installed on the bike though.
Bike: 2015 Trek 1.2
Tire was 72000 won.

Saved this one from the recycling yard today. Lots of potential and many good years and miles ahead for it.

Hi,
Can anyone recommend one that fits well ? I bought the mucky nutz front and back combo - the back fits great but the front rubs. Not to worry as I will put it on my kids bike, but if someone can point me to a well fitting front it would be appreciated.

I’m considering buying this used verve 3 just unsure how old it is and what’s a fair price. Should I just go new, just looking for a bike to ride around my neighborhood and to the park with my kids. Any input is appreciated

Blij mee.
