Having USDC but needing ETH just to send it is frustrating
One thing about crypto that still confuses me is having enough funds in your wallet to make a transaction, but not being able to send them because you don't have the right coin for gas.
Say you have $100 in USDC on Ethereum and want to send $20 to someone. Sounds simple enough, right?
But you still need ETH to cover the gas fee. That means getting some ETH into your wallet before you can send your USDC, which can involve an extra step and additional fees.
I understand why gas fees exist, but it can make sending stablecoins less convenient than expected.
Do you usually keep a little ETH in your wallet for gas, or have you found another practical way to manage this?
