What bindings do I need for this board? These ones are pretty dry-rotted.
Eden Hyperlite; I’m a women’s size 7 110 lbs (if that matters).

First board and binding upgrade in 25 years (don't laugh too hard 😆).
Wow, the tech has come a long way.
It's getting cold here in the UK, but I'm hoping to hit the cable lake this weekend.
No such thing as the wrong weather, just the wrong clothing....

Does anyone have experience polishing the base of the wakeboard and does it even make sense?
I've had my board for some years now and this season I spotted that I get stuck on the obstacles sometimes, especially if they are not wet enough while my friends on other boards don't have such issues.
Overall the board is holding up fine, but in some places I can feel the base is pretty rough when I touch it. I don't mean a specific groove, rather some areas.
Therefore I wonder if anyone has ever polished their boards, or is it just a time for a new one.
Pictures don't represent the feeling, attaching them just in case.

Hello everyone !
I just started wakeboarding early this year and I have yet to make that many friends. The wakepark I regularly play at are either too young or too old for me. I don’t have friends hence nobody approachable to record for me.
I am very keen to record my progress and also vlog because I see myself wakeboarding for next few years. I have gotten really good and even offered to be in the nationals, so I thought recording could help me land some sponsorships too.
So I need cameras but I don’t know what cameras that can mount on my helmet ? Or cameras that can mount onto my vest.
Can I have a few recommendations for :
1) Helmet + camera combo
2) Vest + Camera Combo
3) a mount that can universally mount practically anywhere onto helmet or vest + camera
Pls give me a few because where I’m from wakeboarding isn’t so common so more options, better.
I am not keen to use the cable mounted cameras because it’ll be pretty annoying for the cable managers to constantly remove my cameras and I feel that it may take so much impact being dragged in the water.

Hi everyone,
I’ve just bought a second-hand pair of Slingshot Space Mob boots, and I have a few questions about mounting them on my board.
In the photo, you can see all the parts included in my K9 Binding Clamp kit:
I think I read somewhere that the large washers should go on the inside of the boots and the small ones on the outside. Is that correct?
Also, where should the black plastic protectors go? Should they be fitted together with the large and small washers?
Thanks in advance for your help and advice!

I am considering purchasing a used boat to enjoy in my parents neighborhood with a lake. I used to wakeboard a lot growing up there, but haven’t in probably 15 years.
I would like to be able to wakeboard and surf if possible and keep the boat under 20k.
What would you all be looking for? What would you steer away from? We are located in central Virginia and I believe the boat needs to be less than 22’ could be a little bigger but can’t remember exactly.

Hello,
I would like to buy a pair of Slingshot Space Mob boots, but I am not sure about which size to get. My foot measures 26.5 cm, which according to the size chart corresponds to size 9, but I am wondering if I should allow for a bit of extra room and get size 10 (which corresponds to 27 cm) instead.
I would love to get your feedback and experience on this!
Thank you!"

Hi! I’d like to take advantage of the end of the season to upgrade my wakeboard boots. I'd love to get your feedback regarding stiffness—do you prefer softer or stiffer bindings for 100% park riding?

Any guidance on a good camera for capturing wakeboarding? Both for capturing the fun and for watching back to improve your form. Just mounting a 4k or higher gopro to the tower might work but you're making huge files if you record for a couple hours and they capture a wide enough shot that the cropped video of the actual wakeboarder might not be very high def. If anyone has a cool solution, cameras with more optical zoom or otherwise, I'd be interested in trying it.

Hey everyone!
I’ve been wakeboarding for about a year now, strictly riding cable park. Right now, I’m riding Liquid Force Tao boots and honestly, I love them. The feel, the flex, and the comfort are amazing.
However, the walk back to the dock barefoot on rocks, gravel, and hot concrete is getting really annoying! 😅
So I’m debating whether it’s worth upgrading to boots with removable walk liners:
Liquid Force Terra: Since I love LF, these caught my eye. However, they seem significantly stiffer than the Tao. For those who've tried both, is the flex difference really noticeable on the water?
Slingshot: I know Slingshot walk-liner boots are hugely popular. I’m not a huge fan of their look, but everyone says they perform great. Are they worth it despite the aesthetic?
My bottom line question: Is the convenience of walk liners actually worth switching boots, considering I’d 100% stick with my Taos if barefoot walking wasn't an issue?
Would love to hear your experiences or recommendations! Thanks! 🤙

Looking at relocating to kc possibly. Any good lakes to wakeboard that I can check out while I'm here? Pros and cons for the scene in kc?

With the limited space of a direct drive Bayliner Ski Challenger i decided to build my own hardtank ballast so I dont have to put fatsacs all over the floor.
It is about 270L (595lbs) to the absolute rear.
Makes a decent wave to land 360s, backroll and tantrum.
Made of plywood and glassfibre with a total cost 500$.
Thinking of adding a more automated fill and empty system but a loose pump worked for this season.

I have a Supra SE 550. I’ve had it for 3 years riding in brackish water. This last season I was able to buy a lot with a lift. I kept the boat there this season and have started have issues with post cat sensors, corrosion on the tower under the powder coat, bolts showing corrosive signs, rusting pulleys etc.
I wash and flush with salt away after every weekend out. I let it air out and dry before I cover it on the lift.
Is this due to being on the lift this season? What do people do that love to wakeboard but live in an area with brackish water?

Hello together,
i ride wakeboards for about 4 years, last spring i bought my first used board, now it's time for a new one. My first completle unused wakebaord. Whats your experience with gear of ronix and slingshot?
r/Wake • u/Far-Weight7154 • Sep 25 '26
Any tips on how to properly care for the board? Do’s and dont’s before and after riding?
I saw from the wake park that a lot of people submerge their boards in the water before riding. Any particular reason for it? Can I just start riding away with my new gears?
Thanks in advance!
