Free [FREE] Deltify PO Importer: review a customer PDF purchase order and create a WooCommerce order

• Upvotes

I'm posting on behalf of Deltify (Dynamic Ventures), which develops the free PO Importer for WooCommerce. It is for shops retyping customer purchase orders: upload a supported text PDF, check SKU matches, quantities and prices beside the original, then approve an on-hold order. It includes duplicate warnings and manual corrections, with no subscription or external account.

This first version is narrow: it needs the SKU Description Qty Unit price Line total table format, taxes already disabled, one currency and item-only orders. It does not import scans, shipping, taxes, fees or discounts. Private storage needs host configuration; test on staging first. Do not disable taxes your business requires to use it.

[FREE] I built a WordPress form builder with optional lifetime add-ons — looking for feedback

Hi everyone!

I recently released IM Mail Form, a free WordPress contact form plugin, on the official WordPress.org plugin directory.

I built it with WordPress developers and site creators in mind, focusing on flexible form building without unnecessary complexity.

The free core includes:

  • Drag-and-drop form builder
  • Confirmation screens
  • Email notifications and automatic replies
  • Submission logs and CSV export
  • Cloudflare Turnstile and Google reCAPTCHA support
  • English and Japanese support

Three optional paid add-ons are also available:

  • Conditional Logic: Show or hide fields based on user selections.
  • Recipient Routing: Automatically direct inquiries to different email recipients.
  • Webhooks: Send form submissions to external APIs and services.

Each add-on costs $39 per site, one-time, with future updates included. No subscription required.

Free plugin on WordPress.org:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/im-mail-form/

Official website and demo videos:
https://im.ichimaru.tokyo/

I'd love to hear from other WordPress users and developers:

What features matter most to you when choosing a contact form plugin? Is there anything you feel existing solutions are missing?

Any feedback would be appreciated!

[FREEMIUM] Portfolio Block for Gutenberg — Filterable Layouts, Masonry & Portfolio Templates

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m part of the team behind Portfolio Block, a WordPress plugin we’re building to help people showcase their work directly in the Gutenberg editor.

The goal is to make portfolio creation easier without needing a separate page builder.

With the free version, you can:

  • Create grid, masonry, and card-hover portfolio layouts
  • Organize projects with unlimited categories and category filters
  • Add project images, descriptions, and internal or external links
  • Customize layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile
  • Use a shortcode to display a portfolio in other supported areas of your site

The Pro version adds more layouts, ready-made templates, animations, and specialized portfolio blocks for use cases like case studies, developer portfolios, photography, and video showcases.

Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/portfolio-block/

I’d genuinely appreciate feedback from people who build WordPress sites:

When creating a portfolio in Gutenberg, what matters most to you — layout flexibility, project filtering, performance, or the ability to create detailed case-study pages?

I’m interested in hearing what’s missing from existing portfolio plugins and what would make this kind of tool more useful.

[FREE] I built a free WordPress accessibility plugin and would love some feedback

I built EZ Accessibility from scratch. It's a completely free plugin designed for small websites that need basic accessibility controls without unnecessary features or complexity.

Some of its features:

  • Text size adjustment and contrast options
  • Works with all site builders
  • Runs independently on the client side
  • Doesn't collect or store user data
  • No unnecessary bloatware
  • Simple and easy to use

I've submitted it for review and am still waiting. Meanwhile, I'd love to get feedback from people here. If you try it, let me know what you think, what's missing, or what could be improved. I'm looking for genuine feedback to make it better.

Plugin page: https://www.greyteck.site/products/ez-accessibility/

Thanks!

Promotion [PROMOTION] SubmitSignal: daily checks for WPForms Lite contact forms

We built SubmitSignal at Axtrel AI LLC to catch something uptime checks miss: a site can be online while its contact form quietly stops working.

After setup, our browser service runs a labeled test each day. The WordPress plugin connects that test to form processing and mail handoff, and we email you if a check fails.

Right now it supports ordinary WPForms Lite forms with simple name, email and message fields, without CAPTCHA. It doesn't confirm delivery to a customer's inbox or CRM.

The connector is on WordPress.org, but scheduled monitoring is a paid service starting at $19/month plus tax. We're starting with US businesses with US billing.

We'll review one form for free, then help with an owner-authorized test if it's suitable. You'll see a successful check before deciding whether to pay. Want us to look at one you manage?

Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/submitsignal/

[FREEMIUM] Native Recurly WooCommerce Plugin - Sell WooCommerce subscriptions through Recurly

I have been building a free WooCommerce plugin for stores that want Recurly to handle subscription billing, and it is ready to try!

Munjr Recurly Integration for WooCommerce adds Recurly.js checkout to WooCommerce. Shoppers pay on your store, Recurly creates the plan and the subscription, and a logged-in customer can cancel or reactivate from My Account. It is GPL, no license required, and it is not an official Recurly product.

You will need a Recurly account. The free edition covers checkout, trials, and shipping. Renewal orders are part of the paid edition (https://munjr.com/product/recurly-integration/).

It is not in the WordPress.org directory yet. Grab the zip and the setup guide here: https://munjr.com/product/recurly-integration-free/

Questions and feedback are always welcome!

[FREEMIUM] PayRetry — automated day 1/3/7 recovery emails for failed WooCommerce payments

Every WooCommerce store loses revenue to orders that sit as "Failed" after a declined card — the customer finished checkout, the bank said no, and nobody follows up. Cart-recovery apps don't cover this funnel step.

I built PayRetry to close it. Free on WordPress.org (an optional Pro add-on exists):

  • Detects failed payments from any gateway that marks orders Failed
  • Day 1: reminder email with a one-click retry link (order-pay URL)
  • Day 3: follow-up + single-use 5% coupon, Day 7: 10% with expiry
  • Editable templates and schedule, runs on WP-Cron, no account needed
  • HPOS + Cart/Checkout Blocks compatible

In testing the sequence recovers ~15-30% of failed revenue. Full day 1/3/7 playbook with the copy-paste email template: https://payretry-woo.oreviq.com/blog/how-to-recover-failed-payments-woocommerce/

Plugin (free, GPL): https://wordpress.org/plugins/payretry/

Feedback welcome — especially on discount timing. Disclosure: I'm the author.

[REVIEW] Looking for beta testers for my WordPress private messenger plugin

I've run a chat site (worldofchat.co.uk) for over 20 years and recently built a private messaging plugin for WordPress, inspired by the old MSN Messenger, which I used to love.

It's a one-to-one messenger that lets logged-in members and guests chat privately. I'm looking for a few WordPress site owners to try it out and tell me what's broken, confusing or missing.

A few things I've built into it:

  • Click-to-load: The messenger only loads when someone opens it, so it doesn't add the widget's loading overhead to your initial page loadm I was trying to avoid Google pagespped insights stuff
  • Moderation: Admins and moderators can monitor reports, manage users and issue temporary or permanent bans through a dedicated Chat Monitor.
  • Photo protection: Images are screened before being displayed.
  • Privacy: Each website's data is kept separate, messages and photos are deleted after 90 days, and the messenger sets no cookies.
  • Guest support: Visitors don't necessarily need a WordPress account to use it.

It's designed for adults aged 18 and over, although it doesn't currently have age verification.

I've also completed the UK illegal content and children's access risk assessments.

This isn't a finished product, and I'd rather hear criticism now than later. I'm particularly interested in usability, bugs, performance and anything you think is missing.

Testing is completely free. I can provide the plugin and top up your messaging credits so there's nothing to pay. There's also a live version running at wocchat.com if you'd like to see it in action first.

If you run a WordPress site and fancy giving it a go, leave a comment or send me a message.

Hello I am in need of a plugin for our wp website. We will be uploading videos provided to us by healthcare professionals and users will be able to watch them at their own discretion for a 30 day period.

Here is what I need the functionality to include:

-Unique user login info for each viewer. Just one per person not per session.

-need a report of videos watched by user after 30 day use reason being each user that watched the video will get 1 continuing education credit.

Does anyone know of a plugin that can accommodate this functionality?

TIA!

Free [FREEMIUM] WordPress caching that checks before it touches

Thumbnail

Made a free WordPress caching plugin, now on WordPress.org. Two things it does differently: it checks before it touches (another cache plugin's file is left alone and named), and visitors arriving from Facebook, Google Ads or utm links get the cached page, because those tracking parameters are ignored by the cache out of the box. Logged-in visitors and carts are never cached. Feedback welcome: https://wordpress.org/plugins/cachingout

[PROMOTION] (sort of) We're inviting everyone to break Events Manager!

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hello Community!

I wanted to spread the word about something unique we’re doing with Events Manager, one of the first Events plugins on WordPress.

A social AI experiment if you will...

https://wp-events-plugin.com/security/

With the evolution of AI (as you all probably know well by now), so has there been a drastic increase in security vulnerability reports for all sorts of software, WP and plugins included.

We now get more vulnerability reports from third party services more than ever, and the trend is researchers using AI tools to find vulnerabilities. We ourselves managed to get lucky with early Fable and run a report that uncovered some 35+ vulnerabilities (more than we’ve ever received in the lifetime of the plugin), and yet some still come out the cracks.

We’ve decided to flip the script; we’ve invited all our users to try their AI on EM and see what happens. In 72 hours, we’ve already fixed and shipped nine so far.

If you want to have a go yourself, point your AI at it and send us what you find. Either way, I’m curious what people make of the experiment. The end-result is a safer plugin on the WordPress repo.

Thanks!

Free [Free] A project for webmasters and subscribers

PDFs on a website are a barrier: hard to read on mobile and often inaccessible to screen reader users.

As both a user and a developer, I created a free and open-source solution for the WordPress community: Jim – Accessible Converter.

It turns PDFs, Word documents (.docx), Markdown, and TXT files into accessible reading posts or pages, featuring:

🔊 Text-to-speech audio player

🤖 AI assistant

📈 SEO audit with a score from 0 to 100

The idea is to bring practicality to site managers and comfort to readers.

I keep gathering feedback and making improvements: the plugin is already at version 2.4 and has surpassed 400 downloads in the official WordPress repository since its launch. I'm so happy to see the community trying it out!

[PROMOTION] I’m working on a WordPress FAQ plugin — looking for honest feedback

Hey everyone!

I’m part of the team behind Awesome FAQ, a WordPress plugin for creating FAQ sections with Gutenberg blocks and shortcodes. I’d love to get feedback from other WordPress users and developers on what we’ve built and what could be improved.

The plugin currently supports:

  • Gutenberg FAQ blocks with responsive layouts and multiple themes.
  • FAQ Schema (JSON-LD) to help search engines understand FAQ content.
  • Shortcode support for displaying saved FAQs.
  • FAQ analytics to understand which questions visitors interact with.
  • Pro features including WooCommerce product FAQs, AI-assisted FAQ generation, an Ask AI block, nested FAQs, and additional layouts.

Plugin page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/faq-and-answers/

I’m especially interested in feedback on three things:

  1. What features do you wish existing WordPress FAQ plugins handled better?
  2. Would you find FAQ search, category filters, or WooCommerce product FAQs most useful?
  3. For an AI-powered FAQ assistant, what would you consider essential — accurate answers, source citations, usage controls, or something else?

I’m involved with the plugin, so I’m not an independent reviewer. I’m sharing it here to learn from the community and understand what WordPress users actually need.

Honest criticism and feature suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

[PROMOTION] We built a WordPress schema plugin focused on connected entities, not just JSON-LD output

Post image
0 Upvotes

Our team at SE TN Consultants has been working on a WordPress plugin called SETN Schema Builder.

One issue we kept running into with structured data was that it's easy to generate individual schema objects, but harder to maintain a consistent representation of a business across its pages.

A business has services, topics, locations, FAQs, and related content. Those pieces should form a coherent structure instead of existing as disconnected blocks of markup.

So we built SBP around business identity, Schema Topics, semantic relationships, and JSON-LD.

It also supports compatible operation alongside SEO plugins such as Yoast and Rank Math.

The free version is on WordPress.org:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/setn-schema-builder/

I'd appreciate feedback from WordPress developers and technical SEOs: What's the most frustrating part of managing structured data across a client website?

Disclosure: I'm associated with the team that developed the plugin.

[PROMOTION] A month out from Black Friday, most sale links still share a cropped product photo.

The card you see when someone pastes your product URL is built from two separate things: an image (og:image) and your page metadata. The title, price and description in that card are not inside the image. Only the picture is.

Left is what a default WooCommerce product shares as. Right is the same product, same title, same description — the only difference is the og:image it points at, now rendered at 1200×630 with the photo fitted instead of cropped, the live price, the compare-at price, and the saving computed from the catalogue.

I build this — FastOG for WooCommerce, stating it up front. I'm posting now because we added Black Friday and Seasonal designs, and the Black Friday one shown here is on the free tier, so nothing in that screenshot needs a card to try.

Two things I genuinely want opinions on from people running stores:

  • Price on the card — does it win the click, or does it read as an advert sitting next to normal posts?
  • Variable products — show the price range, or the cheapest variant?

Link + install: WP admin → Plugins → Add New → search "FastOG" (or FastOG for Woocomerce).
Free tier covers 100 products, no card. Set the template per page type in FastOG → Studio.

Two caveats worth knowing before you install:

  • Facebook re-reads the card when you save a product — the plugin registers the product webhooks for that. WhatsApp, LinkedIn and X let nobody force a refresh; they keep the old card until their own next read. Cover URLs change with the cover, so that read gets the new one.
  • Black Friday and Seasonal Offer Classic are on the free tier. The Midnight and Gift Edit designs are Starter ($19/mo). Better you hear it here than in the replies.

Free [FREE] I wanted portable source in WordPress without giving up Gutenberg, so I built Carve Markup

I write technical posts in WordPress and kept reaching for HTML whenever a post needed a caption, footnote, note box, or table with merged cells. Over the last year I built Carve to keep that structure in plain text, then made a WordPress plugin for it.

You can write a whole post in Carve or add a Carve block among regular Gutenberg blocks. Here is a small example. Carve uses /.../ for emphasis and *...* for strong text:

## Project update

A /quick note/ with a *key point*.

|= Plan |=> Seats |=> Price |
| Team | 4 | $49 |
^ Plans at a glance

::: note "What changed"
The source stays readable after publishing.
:::

The plugin has Write, Split, and Preview tabs, with an optional Visual editor. You can import Markdown, Djot, HTML, or Carve files, convert pasted BBCode, and export the .crv source again. It also supports Carve in comments and shortcodes.

Who of you prefers to write their WP content in HTML (using the WYSIWYG editor)? And what do you think of this approach, keeping it text-based where possible - and as such also easily transportable (copy-and-paste)?

Facts:

  • Carve has the best chance of keeping textual source for your HTML elements. All major HTML elements covered. I don't think any other format (like MD) comes even close.
  • Secure format, profiles help to manage what each role can use (e.g. in comments).
  • References to numbered figures, tables, listings, and equations update when those items move.
  • For longer posts, you can turn on an automatic table of contents, heading links, and section numbers.
  • Optional Mermaid diagrams and Chart.js etc render from fenced source blocks. Diffs and other highlighting works out of the box.
  • You can import/migrate all your existing content (or check if it is possible loss-less).

Video demo: https://youtu.be/FT_IMW8ABng

Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/carve-markup/

[DISCUSSION] Plugin developers: what feature request sounded simple until you considered scale?

We build social networking software for WordPress, and one pattern we keep encountering is that a seemingly small feature can affect permissions, privacy, moderation, caching, migrations, and background jobs.

For example, “notify everyone in this group” sounds like one action. On a large site, it becomes a fan-out job involving batching, retries, duplicate prevention, delivery limits, cleanup, and permission changes while the job is running.

What feature request looked straightforward until you traced it through a real plugin?

I would be interested in:

  • What users originally requested
  • What hidden constraint made it difficult
  • Whether you shipped, changed, or rejected it
  • Whether the problem only appeared on larger or busier sites

Plugin users are welcome to answer too. What feature did you assume was simple until a developer explained the tradeoffs?

Concrete stories would be especially useful. There is no need to name the plugin if you would rather not.

[DISCUSSION] What would you want in a modern WooCommerce variation swatches plugin?

Hey everyone,

We're planning to improve the variation swatches experience in Optiontics, and I wanted to get some opinions from people who actually build or manage WooCommerce stores.

Color and image swatches are nothing new, but I feel most plugins still have room for improvement.

We are thinking about better image switching, dual-color swatches, stock handling, variation-based pricing, and smoother mobile experiences.

Also wondering if AI could be useful here. Maybe automatically detecting colors from product images, generating swatches, or helping store owners set things up faster.

But I dont want to add AI just for the sake of it.

So curious, what features do u think are still missing from existing variation swatches plugins?

Anything thats been particularly frustrating when working with WooCommerce variations?

Would love to hear what you would actually find useful before we get too deep into development.

[Premium] Straycy: server-side conversion tracking for WordPress (Meta CAPI, ChatGPT Ads, Reddit, Snapchat), no GTM

I built this for my own sites and opened it up today. Looking for feedback from people who’ve fought with pixels and CAPI on WordPress.

How it works:

  • Captures the ad click ID and UTMs on the first visit and attaches them to the form lead, WooCommerce order or Stripe payment
  • Sends the conversion from your server to Meta, ChatGPT Ads, Reddit and Snapchat, and to Google with Enhanced Conversions
  • Visitor and lead data stays in your own WordPress database
  • Dashboard in wp-admin: leads and revenue by channel and campaign
  • No Tag Manager, no separate server container

30-day free trial, no card. If you try it, I’d really like to hear what broke or what was confusing.

Discussion [Discussion] What do you think about the insane amont of new Plugins?

Post image
15 Upvotes

I am just preparing a talk for a local WordPress meetup and I did some research about recently added Plugins and I was shocked about the numbers I saw.

In short, this year so far we have 18'193+ new Plugins in the Repository. That has already tripled from last year.

Are you concerned about this trend?

Or do you think it's a good thing?

Many of the Plugins I checked out recently were in the featured section. Most of them were just clones of popular ones, and offered nothing I did not see before. Popup builder, Form builder, Opening Hours...

Some were clearly just made to sell a pro version (Nothing wrong with that, except when it is just AI slop)

And I am curious to see, how many will be supported in the long run...

[FREE] I built a plugin for sharing pitch decks from your own WP site — looking for feedback

I'm a founder, and every fundraise I ended up pasting DocSend links into investor emails. It worked, but the deck sat on someone else's domain and wanted another subscription.

So I built DeckDesh, a free GPL plugin:

- Upload a PDF deck and get a private link on your own domain

- The viewer uses your site's branding instead of a third-party page

- Basic view tracking (who opened it, when)

- Your data stays on your server

It's been submitted to the WordPress.org directory and is waiting for review.

What I'd like feedback on:

  1. Is storing uploads in a protected uploads subfolder reasonable, or would you want offloading options (S3, etc.)?

  2. Is there anything in the viewer or admin UX that looks off compared with plugins you trust?

  3. Is anything missing that would stop you installing it for a client?

Site: https://deckdesh.com/. Happy to answer questions here or at hello@deckdesh.com.
