Eight years ago today (thank you automated "memories" on my phone!), I got to meet this great cast! That day was the happiest fangirl day I've ever had! I had heard about Cons during the original run, but thought "I'm not a big enough geek" to go, and regretted it for 20+ years! So when I saw everuone was going to be at SpookyEmpire in Orlando, I booked a flight!

I'll never forget DD trying to talk to me, and me just being like "OMG, he's not supposed to have a conversation with me" and freezing up!! 🙃 😅 AND Mitch telling me not to hold it against him when I nodded at him and said "Samuel" (from "Supernatural") and him laughing. And y'all, I hugged CSM!!! He was so sweet and kind and funny!

I just had to share with you all, since you can appreciate how it would feel!

Hi X-Philes! 💚 I finally got lucky enough to get my hands on the coveted Darkness Falls jacket! 👏🏻 I also got a dupe for the Detour jacket and of course had a blast taking photos and videos! 🤩 Have a fun and safe Halloween everyone! I’ll be Scully (of course) at work! 👩🏻‍🦰🪪

Why do LGM call each other by their last names? I get why Mulder and Scully do it but I have no idea why LGM do that.

Shoutout to Mulders little pose

What XFiles books do you guys recommend? Novels, art books, etc.

The eBay gods looked kindly on me. My 3 year search came to an end.

S9 E13 Improbable. Why is it that in Little Italy wherever in the warm weather, is everyone wearing short or no sleeves is Monica Reyes in a knee length suede coat?🤦🏻‍♀️

Pop along if you're British and let's test our knowledge together.

I feel like everyone needs to go watch the beginning of Kill Switch because this is the type of thing they warn us about today. AI was such a foreign concept back when this aired but so relevant now. What a great episode.

I'm re-watching the entire show rn, since my memories from watching the show the first time are blurry at best. (Haven't seen anything past s9)

I know I'm not the only one who doesn't like the brother and finds it odd that the other doesn't turn up at all, but DAMN HE IS ANNOYING.

Tired of hearing the "older sibling" excuse, he is condescending and isn't there at all the entire years in the story and then he pops up and tries to tell her how to live her life and not only that but tries to baby her, tries to push Mulder off as well despite not even knowing the guy. At most heard Stories about him from their mother.

The "protectiveness" is just "she doesn't know what's best for her" in a nutshell, how dare his sister have a private life in top god damn.

They should have killed him off instead of her sister, even more if they had been "budget vise" able to introduce them all earlier then maybe he wouldn't be as insufferable, instead of letting him spawn in like a leeche.

Edit: Civil means don't go on eachothers throats for different opinions, nothing else. Be as detailed as you like in your rants.

I feel like every season just gets better and better. This season definitely had some of the best monsters of the week. This will be another hard one for a top 10.

Lets start with the mythology episodes The Beginning and the two parter Two Fathers/ One son, Biogenesis were so good! Im just slightly confused to how many species of alien is there. Also there is a lot of loopholes which im ok with because I feel it leaves room to brach off the story line. I am confused however of Casandra Spender... is she dead DEAD? Because isnt she an alien hybrid which makes her harder to kill or simply immortal? I do like the shift of the mythology in Biogenesis. The colonizers to the creators in which I myself believe in. Especially after watching that Nick Cage movie, Knowing. I cant wait to see how the storyline unfolds in Season 7.

Finally I was right when it comes to Mulder and Scully's relationship which I am beginning to be very invested in. Its just hard not to. These two incredibly attractive people, single and very dependent on each other. They are just bound to end up together, right? god i hope im right and neither of them die. Id be crushed.

Anyway, I was right that after the almost kiss in the movie. These two now know how they feel about one another. Definitely more flirty especially when they're undercover in Arcadia. Just lots of hinting of where this relationship is goin. The foreshadowing speech that Scully gives to Sheila in Rain King. Mulder kissing an alternate Scully and says I LOVE YOU to the real one. How many of you think he meant it or we buying that Scully is convinced hes loopy off his meds? In Alpha, Scully is very territorial of Mulder and then we see the tables turn in Milagro. Which OMG this episode was so good! We get to see how Scully finally breaks down her barrier and accept Mulders comfort. The Unnatural being a really good story, it has the perfect ending. I did enjoy watching another side of Mulder where he takes Human Connection over obsession. The symbolism with Exley and his love for baseball and that final scene also mirrors that transition of the alienated outsiders (Mulder and Scully in the basement) to a warm human companionship. Mulder shares something deeply personal of his inner child with Scully. I enjoyed it so much.

TOP 10:

1. The Beginning (Feral Alien is just terrifying)

2. The Unnatural (Hips before hands)

3. Two Fathers/ One Son

4. Drive (This ep had me stressing!)

5. Monday (Groundhog day type)

6. How the Ghosts Stole Christmas (Mulder defiantly stole her keys)

7. Agua Mala (Another ep that had me STRESSED)

8. Arcadia

9. Milagro

10. Rain King

Honorable mention: Tithonus (Did it just hint that Scully is immortal? or is it just me that got that?)

Dreamland 1 & 2 was actually hilarious!

As I said this list was very hard for me. Not one bad episode in my opinion. Let me know what think or had something completely different. Happy Monday!

I love how they sprinkle in these naughty jokes throughout the show. It’s like a Kalifornication foreshadowing.
