This is way better than what YT Music shows when the window is shrinked. now there's a quick way to like a song and proper resizing where elements don't become weird everytime you do it. Was gonna switch to apple music for the UI but I'm gonna reconsider now. Still can't go to artist page when I click on artist name though.

Some people are reporting AI labels being added but I haven’t seen those yet. This is one of the bigger AI distributors and they don’t have a label.

This flood of AI music is pushing me to stop paying for YouTube and switch to Spotify. You can apparently block artists there.

Everything worked fine yesterday, but today I am only able to listen to my downloads. Any no downloaded dong I try to play simply doesn't load. I can download the song and it'll play like normal, browsing the whole app, heck even the whole internet is functioning normally, just the music streaming on ytm is not working atm.

Every time I open the app everything is stuff i've listen to before. I just want new recommendations, new music, but it's so difficult to get this on YT music. When I first used the app it was not like this...is there any kind of button I can click that will recommend something new?

The desktop web UI as already heavily discussed here sucks. In this orientation, there isn't a like button that I can click immediately like I can on mobile. and if I make this window shorter, the album cover will become super smaller. In this orientation clicking on the artist name also doesn't bring you to artist page.

This ofc can be solved instantly if we can use the mobile app on desktop, but they insist on keeping it web-based on desktops.

I'll tend to just throw on my Supermixes that YTM makes for me while in the car. My tastes are pretty eclectic but if I'm listening for long enough and keep skipping a specific genre or more, does YTM pick up on that and start excluding them from that listening session after a while?

1. Fully functioning web player (as opposed to AM).

2. Third party watch support (I can use the app on my Garmin Watch).

3. Album library is separate from songs library (like Spotify, unlike AM).

4. Can create a Mix from a playlist.

I want to start uploading my library to YTM. The problem is I have two accounts: One is a "brand" account that will not not let me upload to YTM, the other is a Google account, that will allow me to upload but which does not have any playlists, library etc. I have seen that there is a way to combine these accounts, but it looks awfully complicated-and the ultimate goal is to be able to upload my library to my YTM account that accepts uploads, and still keep all of my playlists and library. Any help to do this as simply as possible would be great. I don't want to delete the wrong account if I can help it.

As recently as a week ago I was able to shuffle two playlists together on iOS. I would shuffle a playlist, add another playlist to the queue, then toggle the shuffle and the two playlists would shuffle together in the queue. This does not seem to be working today. Has YouTube music recently updated so that the queuing system is different? Is there a new way to shuffle two playlists together other than literally adding the two to a new playlist?

Its been this way for days, the ytm-desktop-app (a youtube music wrapper i use), doesnt have this issue
only inside a browser, reproduce: open google chrome and go on music.youtube.com

YouTube music messes up the order of my playlist for no reason and when I try to fix it and I click done it doesn’t save and it’s still messed up

I'm on android and somehow the dynamic queue option was enabled. I was getting frustrated and trying to figure out why my queue kept randomly changing every time I skipped a song. Then I went to my settings and came to find out the dynamic queue was enabled. I also connected a new speaker but I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

Is this happening to some of you too atm? I'm a premium user, literally 24/7 logged in and constant internet connection too. And today I found my library of around 2000 songs deleted from downloads or at least it says they are expired. Most of them at least, not all of them, like 90%. Affected ones also don't have a download button so they have to be somewhere at least because the YTM app takes 15GB of storage.

Is this a bug or do I have to re download the whole thing which will be a pain in the a.. when I have to delete all the app data.

It really boggles my mind, how a multi-billion dollar company making ginormous amounts of money, is seemingly unable to provide an app that isn't utter garbage. I mean, we are talking about Youtube Music being the worst of subscription music streaming services. How come they haven't used their super-duper AI capabilities to actually improve on a crap service.

And seemingly, the problems people are flagging with YoutubeMusic have not been improved on in the past two years, i.e. basic shit like if the player is set to shuffle to actually shuffle. So bad... honestly mind-boggling.
