Just as the title says. This is about a week of growth and just wondering if I should let it grow and see where it goes or just shave it

First time growing, really surprised how good it's going. Obviously thinner on the uppder cheek, but does not bother me at the moment. Gonna let it grow some more, trying to keep it looking clean by trimming flyaways and keeping a good line. Figuring a style out for myself in some time 👍🏻

Two issues: moustache sticks out a bit, need something to make it lay better, perhaps some kind of cream or something. Also, short beard needs something for a similar issue. Random hairs stick out making it look a bit messy. Basically just need something to style it. Dont mind spending money for some premium products that smell good. Any help would be appreciated.

I always end up with this bit of waviness in my beard because of the straps from my CPAP mask and it's really bugging me. Has anyone figured out a good way to deal with this?

How’d my barber do? 4 months of growth

A couple of weeks ago, I made this post. I appreciated everyone’s kind comments and really thought about what to do with this beard.

I kept my appointment today with my barber. He brought down the fluff at the sideburns, and cleaned up the corners below the ears. He also leveled it out underneath my chin. I feel like it looks cleaned up, which is great for work. My thought was to keep it squared off on the sides as it rounds in toward my chin. There’s not a ton of difference from before, but that’s OK. I also had him leave the mustache alone as I’m very happy with the length right now.

As far as care goes, I’ve been oiling at night and using balm in the morning, but the softness from the balm wasn’t maintaining softness all day. This morning, I oiled, then balmed, and I liked the softness I had all day, but it was a little too oily by the time I was expecting it to be dry.
