When I look at statistics only I see Pavel has three plus 90 points seasons with obviously a lot of goals. One year he scores 60 goals and he is plus 35 another year he scores 60 goals and he's only plus one. And the general opinion is that he the most exciting goal score the team let alone the league has had.

I was at last night's game against the Wild. I don't go to games often, so was considering sitting down for the UN anthem, because you know, not much has changed with the US's treatment of Canada and the US's behaviour on the world stage has been generally abhorrent since Trump took office. I thought that maybe some of that lack of respect from the fans for the US anthem would continue.

I was surprised that nobody around me sat out their anthem (including myself - succumbed to the peer pressure), except one guy I noticed a few rows ahead of me. He looked just as typical as any of the other hosers, young guy wearing hoodie and a jersey, but as he stood up for the Canadian anthem, he was clearly making a statement. I did hear everyone do that extra hard emphasis on FREE when singing Canada's anthem. Ironic, when the US is threatening our and many other democracies' freedoms to exist and conduct ourselves as we wish...

Anyway, I regret standing and want to big up that guy who sat and let all who still sit know you have my respect for making a bit of a stand where you can.

Holy Wilander has looked UNREAL. Hes been amazing to start the season, but on my GOD the POP on those skates hes like a pre-cooke EK65, and the SNAP of those outlet passes AUGHHHHH 😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫.

I wonder about the announced hometown remix jerseys. With the cyphers being put out there and the Canucks being "Van as one", and the leaks of the main jersey colours being leaked, I'm beginning to think that maybe our jersey could be a Canucks Golden Eyes crossover? Canucks in the Golden Eyes colour way....... Might be pretty be sweet actually.

I could be way off, but it just sorta came to me when I saw the cypher.

My wife got me a skate jersey for my birthday last year on Dec. 30. Since that time we have been undoubtedly the worst team in all of hockey. Now why is this my wife’s fault and what does the Jersey have to do with it. First, I have worn this EP40 skate jersey for 23 games. In those games we are 0-23. Every single game has been a regulation loss. Second, she bought the thing so she is the cause of the curse.

The owners need to do something different to make this team exciting. Yes on the ice but also at games - I've been going to games for 15 years and nothing ever changes. Same shitty music , same shitty chants, same shitty team fishing trip videos between intermission. Why not try and improve the product , attract a new market and spend some money to win a few games. Maybe it's a hockey problem in general.

Both players have played exactly 32 games with the Canucks.

Chytil: 32 games played over 3 seasons. (15, 12, 5 games).

Brisebois: 32 games played over 6 seasons (8, 1, 1, 17, 3, 2 games).

Just a neat little stat.

We are 2-10-1, have lost 10 straight games, and are on pace to become one of the worst teams in NHL history. At this point, think about it; if the worst player on our team (I would say Brisebois) just started dropping the gloves with the other team’s best player every game, then what’s the worst that can happen? Brisebois gets tossed? He’s the worst player on the team so it wouldn’t really matter. Just imagine Brisebois going completely apeshit trying to fight McDavid before the teammates and referees get involved. It would be at least 3 whole seconds of entertainment, which is probably more than we’ve gotten out of this team all season. We just watched Quinn Hughes come back to Rogers Arena, score a goal, get an assist, and beat us 4-2. At this point, what the fuck do we have left to lose? Just something to think about as we approach our 11th straight loss.

I get it …… it’s a rebuild we all asked for it and I hope it still trends in that direction so we can build something truly special. I don’t mind watching losses but if the fellas are not gonna dig a little deeper and play with a little more grit , determination and heart I don’t imagine this is gonna get easier to watch. I hope they realize what this city and jersey mean to us because some of them play like they couldn’t care less and it shows. I also am under the impression that we still have a few locker room bums to clear out I like the way this season was trending at the beginning but it’s been made obvious now we still have some house cleaning to do. I’m pumped for Petey he looks better this season I’m excited for the younger guys up and comers and their progress. So here’s to tomorrow night vs the ducks let’s hope we can break the losing skid and if not just give em hell.

Any thoughts on anyone that you might like to see traded ? No Petey trades we have all been down that road he’s staying as of now.
