The amount of illegal activities that's going around in Parklands by these Mercedes Benz drivers that just goes unnoticed. Hopefully they putting a spotlight on the issue and not just doing it for social media.

Was outside in my garden in Pinelands and heard the fighter jet which I assume is based in/flying from Ysterplaat.

Professional, administrative & support staff (PASS) at the University of Cape are striking today. Professors, who earn R1.8M a year were given a 7% increase, while PASS & junior academics were only given 3.5%

This intersection (R27 / Darling / Yzerfontein) is extremely hazardous which is why the speed limit is reduced. Choppie comes up at high speed and there was NOWHERE to pull aside which is usually my standard procedure when joining an open road. The hooting was after the first brake-check and the second one confirmed that choppie wasn't safe to be near while he or she tried running us off the road. And with kids in the back nogal. I'm not a fan of naming and shaming but in the last 24 hrs I have been stunned by the sheer lunacy.

Evidently I was astonished.
