Pulled out a spartan juniper that got attacked by bag worms over the year. Had to get rid of it, so I'll get rid of it the best way 😄
Used 4x4 hi locked rear.
(sorry about the vertical video, grass would be in the way if it was horizontal.

Just got my Bison last month and I haven’t taken it off-road yet, but I don’t see these AEV wheels not getting destroyed by rocks with the way that lip sticks out. I also don’t wanna spend $175 per ring from AEV. Has anyone successfully rock-crawled and not destroyed these wheels? I’m thinking about going aftermarket.

My mother thinks that I should sell it, but I like this classic 3.5, 5 cylinder. Definitely not homeless, lol, but there are times when I think sleeping in my truck is substantially better and more comfortable than a motel room with roaches and the necessity to use a black light. I’ve had some comfortable naps in there and one day, since I would’ve had only 3-4 hours to sleep in a motel, I decided to find a truck stop with overnight parking, put up my windshield sun shade, cover myself in a blanket, and slept. Hella comfortable, but my tint wasn’t as dark as I hoped. That’s why I’m asking for privacy suggestions.

Looking for inspo for things that I could route to the aux button that aren’t ditch lights, etc. Anyone done anything out of the ordinary with theirs?

Took my 2018 off road through a bunch of mud. Still have my trusty OEMs installed, but now they’re full of condensation. Thought I might as well just replace them now.
The general consensus with Spyder and other budget brands I see is that they’re really no better than the cheap Chinese crap sold on eBay, but I also don’t know if I can bring myself to spend $1200 on Anzos because dropping over a grand on headlights doesn’t seem like a wise investment to me.
Maybe someone can change my mind. What non OEM lights are you guys using?

Video is near drivers side front wheel. Have had it at the dealer multiple times and they are struggling. Most recently they replaced tie rods and said it was fixed. This video is from today, two days after getting the truck back.

Ive replaced the blower motor, its wiring harness completely, the resistor all just to be sure. I almost had a fire with the wires overheating, can I safely cut out and solder and shrink wrap these 2 wires and keep the rest of the harness intact?

My 2018 Chevy Colorado eletric drivers seat controls no longer moves forward and backwards. The seat can move up and down and lean back just fine.
Any advice on how I can figure out what specifically is wrong, motor? Wire? Fuse? If motor, anyone know the part number?
My temperature sensor gauge needs to be replaced too if anyone has that part number.
I have mechanical knowledge and have done some basic work on my cars. I’ve seen the temperature sensor gauge is a pain to get to. Would these two fixes be something that could be done myself pretty easily or should I find a mechanic?

Just a general question as I’ve seen people say on here that no matter what getting a lift of any kind will affect ride quality and mpg. Does the same apply for a leveling kit?

I believe water got in my trans, drove in a crazy rain storm then got rumble strip shudders and the shop found a missing fill plug. Fluid was all pink and milky. Shops are saying I probably need a total trans replacement.
Local shop people recommended is telling me they can get the new trans in 2 days, it’s from Jasper ET. Anyone had good success with jasper? They’re quoting me 7100$ for my 2017 Chevy Colorado with an 8 speed transmission. It’s an 8L45 transmission with a three year unlimited mile warranty. I’m in East Tennessee so sales tax are like 10% here which blows

I just bought a new truck from Dave Smith motors in Idaho, and I live out of state. I purchased the Road vantage tech protection plan. When signing paperwork, they made me sign a contract stating I would not install a lift kit and larger tires. The paperwork only mentions the enhanced warranty through the dealer....does anyone know what this really means or anyone flat out took their truck straight to the wheel and lift shop? I really just want to do a leveling and 1" larger tires without any consequences.

Hello everyone!
My blue old truck lovingly referred to as papa Smurf was totaled. I was rear ended and it bent the frame really badly, I got a new truck (posted in the later photos) which we have named Heimdall.
I had the only truck for 3 years and it felt ‘mine’. The new one I have only had for a few weeks and It doesn’t feel like it belongs to me. Any advice for mods or customizations to make it feel more mine? I added the nerf bars and I blacked out the Colorado branding on the sides. Everything else currently is stock.
I was thinking of going to realtruck.com and getting a 2 inch lift from them any thoughts?

2018 LT 3.6L. Flushed the transmission fluid 20k miles ago, mechanic said it should fix the shudder for good. Didn’t believe it would, and my pessimistic intuition seems to have been correct. Shudder is back now, and worse than before. Unbelievable that Chevy sold these trucks knowing they had transmission issues. I will never buy a Chevy again.
Anybody ever replace the TC? How much will it likely run me at a private shop?

Hi all!
I have a 2020 Colorado WT that runs on 265/70R16’s. I want to get larger more aggressive looking tires without having to trim or get a lift. What’s the max size I can go to give this thing a little more umph without making it look horrendous.
Thanks guys!

Anyone have an easy fix, or is this dealership material? 2024 LT.

I’ve already replaced the Active Grille Shutter assembly with a brand new one and it comes with the motor and wire attached.
Any reason as to why the code is still there?
It says on the code reader (3) P059F
Pending, stored, and permanent
21 Chevy Colorado.
Already tried clearing it but it comes back.
