Hi everyone, I've been working in a warehouse for some months now, and it's a pretty decent gig I'd like to keep.
The problem is, at the start of September I moved flat and injured my shoulder by lifting something in a really stupid way. I took almost two weeks off, then recklessly returned, and tried to work through it and make the most of my rest days. Last week I had to leave mid shift again and my boss said something along the lines of " you should really consider if this job is for you" which made me scared that he's gearing up to sack me.
I'm wondering what I should do and how I can legally secure myself from being unemployed. As I said, it's a decent gig and judging how long it took me to find it, I can't afford to lose it without having made plans and arrangements to get another source of income, immediately. I'm not trying to shirk my responsibility, it's a fucking pain in the ass annoying injury that keeps coming back and I know that it will haunt me forever if I don't take care of it now. Honestly I'd like to take the rest of this week off as well but I'm kind of fearful to.
Tomorrow I'm gonna have to call in again and I'm not looking forward to doing that. I'd like to have some sort of plan for contacting unions and such immediately after I make that call.
Thanks for any advice and help! ❤️ I had posted this to R/Denmark but I'm feeling a bit impatient for the moderator approval, so I'm trying here to hopefully have some good responses when i wake up
