My daughter loves to flex a rare canvas tote bag - I’m visiting tomorrow with a whole day to explore and shop. some places on my list are the design museum, hart (to enjoy & get a tote or two). Any other suggestions? price not an issue but want it to be “only in Copenhagen/Denmark” purchase. please recommend a bookstore, grocery, etc with good canvas totes. some mystery if Irma totes still are around…?

edit: found two Irma totes (wish I could find more), GIANT hay tote, Hart tote, and finally a studio arhoj tote. I wish I could find another Irma tote but I’m not sure what store locations have them. thank you so much everyone!

Så er der weekend på Christianshavn!

Der er er en psykisk syg kvinde, der er begyndt at gå rundt og vælte hundredevis af cykler. Den anden dag blev der ringet til politiet, som tog hende med. Efter nogle timer blev hun løsladt og samme aften kommer hun så tilbage på torvet og vælter igen hundredvis af cykler. Nogle af cyklerne væltes i cykelstativerne, mange ud på fortovet, og nogle bliver hængt op i træerne.

Nu har hun gjort det flere gange om dagen i flere dage bare i denne uge. Videoen er fra i dag.

Mange af cyklerne bliver ødelagt, skærme går i stykker, reflekser, lygter osv. smadres.

Hvem skal betale for de skader, der bliver lavet? Hvem skal stille alle cyklerne op igen? Hvad er løsningen?

Jeg har forståelse for, at der er psykiske problemer involveret, men det ændrer jo ikke på at der skal handles..

I am new to Denmark, and I am very interested to buy an overcoat for the winter. I have been looking for the overcoats in Zara. I tried couple of them, but even the smallest size (S) is bigger than what I need.
Just to give some context, I am from South East Asia and my body structure is not as big as European men. So sometimes the S size cloths here are big for me.

Could you guys please give me any suggestions? Where can I find smaller-size clothes here in Copenhagen?

Again, I don’t want to spend thousands on a overcoat, so I am looking for something in budget.

I've been living in Copenhagen for the last 11 months and now I am bringing my rescued dog (and GF) and I would like some advice on some good vets, especially if someone has an English Bulldog, since it is a breed that needs some care and understanding.

I am considering AniCura Copenhagen Animal Hospital, in Valby, but if someone has some advices / Opinions, etc., I would appreciate.

Hi all. I am coming over for a weekend in December from the UK. I Land about 4pm and have booked tickets for FC kobenhavn Europa conference game that kicks off at 5.45pm. I am staying near Tivoli. Do you think it is achievable to get through airport, into Copenhagen, checked in and dump bag and then get to the stadium for the start? What is the best way to get to the stadium and where do all the fans go for the after party 🍻🍻

Hi All. Anybody know the security situation in the airport, is it still enhanced checks? My wife and 1 year old baby have a 10am flight tomorrow and worried they will be queuing for hours.

I see a specific homeless man almost every day at the Elmagade bus stop and have been wondering about him. He has kind of long curly hair, is quite skinny, and usually wears feminine clothing.
I’ve noticed recently that his face often has scars or looks like he might be getting beaten up, which is really concerning to see.
Does anyone here know anything about him or his story or where is he from?

Went through security 10:30 am Saturday 10/24. Was through in five minutes. They are still doing random bag checks, adding about 10 minutes.

We’ve 36 hours and counting.. to find a gift for my partner’s Scottish nephew, called Soren (6years old) - he’d love it. :) we already have a photo outside Søren Geds Garage bar.. any other helpers on this mission would be muchly welcome.. there’s not many other Søren’s in Scotland!!

Vi var blandt de uheldige, der missede vores fly på grund af det massive kaos i Kastrup Lufthavn i går. Stod i kø i over to timer, og så havde lufthavnen endda ændret flyets afgangstid FREM med ti minutter, da vi ankom? Anyway— vi har naturligvis søgt om erstatning fra lufthavnen, da det, der skete var komplet ude af vores hænder, og vi fulgte alle anbefalinger.

Medierne, der skriver om sagen, tegner dog et billede af, at det ser sort ud ift. erstatning (Se DR’s liveblog eller Berlingske). Hvad gør nogle af jer andre, og er der nogle, der har gode råd?
