Black made his season debut Sunday after missing the first two games with an ankle sprain, and he looked more than ready, scoring 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting with 5 3s, 5 assists, 3 boards and 2 steals in 26 minutes. With Banchero out for an extended period and Suggs hurt, Black will play a lot of minutes and provide a much-needed versatile guard who can create, defend and help generate offense. The Magic elected not to extend him earlier in the offseason. It'll be interesting to see how his play might force their hand. He's a must-add in all formats as he'll see a big boost in usage going forward. CONGRATS IF YOU SNAGGED HIM.

J-Dub was just listed as Doubtful on Yahoo after breaking his damn leg and being out for months… or potentially longer. Do owners in keeper or dynasty leagues seriously have to wait for an official diagnosis before they can IL him and pick up a replacement? Absolutely ridiculous..

Whoever has Steph. Try your best to get rid of him now. The warriors are the worst team in the league and Steve Kerr already has plans to sit him to preserve his knees. He is a ticking time bomb, I would ship him for any star that could be relatively healthy down the road. Use whatever games that he does well in to ship him off.

Just want to ask fellow fantasy managers opinions who are the players underperforming and will be better after week1.

How are we feeling about this guy? It’s been a lackluster week 1 for the big fella in Brooklyn. Some of that could be chalked up to foul trouble. But eye-test wise are we still seeing the breakout season everybody was hyped for? Are the Nets to blame for playing Dubious Handle PG ball? And more importantly, are we holding in shallow formats like 10/12 teamers? Personally, I’ll probably hold for a week or more since Josh Lloyds doing it.

Is he finally starting to see real minutes or is this just a fluke until Nurkic returns? So far he’s looked very controlled, can play within the offense, and is efficient.

Should he be rostered if he’s available in your league and is it time to buy into his stock

I mean what’s going on here. We know the back injury detailed his season last year. But he actually played pretty well the finals 6 weeks of the season. So far usage is an issue sure but Jakob looks washed as f right now. I was hoping for a bounce back here, maybe 10/8 with 1.5 blocks. Good thing is the sample size is very small. (3 games). How long are owners giving him ? I mean I can’t drop a starting center 3 games into a season.

I know it's only been three games, but this guy is already looking like a potential league winner. He's putting up insane numbers, and his ridiculously high usage rate makes me think he can sustain a lot of this production. Even if he cools off a bit, he should still be a really valuable fantasy player. I managed to snag him in the 8th round, and at this rate, he could genuinely end up being one of my top three players this season.

Hey all I'm playing fantasy basketball for the first time, and after 1 week, I have a question.

Playing Cat 9 head to head, and I did 4 add/drops on the margins to win my first match. Is there supposed to be this much churn and burn?

I would order the priority as follows in standard category leagues:

1. Anthony Black

2. Ajay Mitchell

3. Jay Huff

4. Alex Caruso

5. Mccain/Da Silva

I picked him up late into the draft and am not expecting much but wondering what everyone’s else’s thoughts are? Last year he was off and on the waivers all throughout the season and this year I finally scooped him up.

He's off to a heater. Do you guys think this is sustainable even with Brandon Ingram and Bradley Beal back? I feel like he has found his role to be a valuable fantasy asset going forward. He is also averaging 3.3 STLS right now. Is he the best fantasy pickup right now?

Is it normal for leagues to have a season limit on adds? This is the first time I’m playing in a league like this and it’s 50 adds limit for the entire season.

Personally not a fan because staying active in add/dropping and streaming is what makes fantasy fun for me
