💕Positive Vibes ONLY💕 We’re Thomas Zeumer & Udo Spreitzenbarth, founders of Find Your Look NYC. We discovered and managed supermodels. Ask us what it really takes to make it in modeling. AMA!
Hey r/fashion!
We're Thomas Zeumer and Udo Spreitzenbarth.
Thomas founded Metropolitan Models and discovered and managed some of the world's most recognizable supermodels, including Claudia Schiffer, Heidi Klum and Eva Herzigová.
Udo is an international fashion and celebrity photographer whose work includes Tyra Banks, Catherine Zeta-Jones and the Jonas Brothers.
Between us, we've spent decades on both sides of the camera - and we've seen just about everything the fashion business has to offer.
Now we're working together on Find Your Look, sharing our experience with anyone who has ever wondered: Could I make it in modeling?
SHOW US WHO YOU ARE. WE'LL SHOW YOU WHAT'S POSSIBLE.
But right now, we're here to answer YOUR questions.
Why do some faces sell and others don't?
Why does one woman get the call and another doesn't?
Why do you look great in the mirror but not always in photographs?
Ask us about agencies, castings, photography, posing, rejection, personal image - or the stories behind the scenes.
We'll tell you what we've learned. And we won't sugarcoat it.
Thomas & Udo

Feedback Wanted! Trying to stylize the new dress my grandma gave me
My room's lite is really bad... and my cellphone camera makes everything a bit gray. I tried to make it the closest to the real dress color, putting more light an saturation... but still, in rl it's more green and the details are more orange.
I don't like going out with too much skin showing, so a bit of my goal was finding way to make it less showing... also, to hide a bit my high weight.
Does it looks good?
Does someone have more ideas?
Does the belt in the waist work? I'm thinking abou wearing in with the other outfits too.

Advice Wanted Please! How to style this dress for colder weather?
I wore this dress all summer and am so sad to put it away for fall and winter now. Is there a way I can style it for colder weather? Or should I say goodbye to it until the spring? Here is how I styled it on a beach vacation earlier this year. Any advice appreciated, thank you!
It is the Amelia dress from Peppermayo

Advice Wanted Please! Tired of looking like a box
I’m writing as I’d like to get some styling advice. I feel like when I wear my jeans, I look like a box. Most of the time, I am frustrated with my closet because I just don’t know what to wear.
I would like to dress in a more feminine way that accentuates my curves but also makes me feel more confident. These are the most recent outfits I’ve put together. One of them is what I wore when I went to the museum, which is the blue cocktail dress, and the other is from a birthday dinner where I wanted to dress up because I felt good about myself. Recently, I purchased some new items and have put pictures of them below, but I have no idea how to style them.
I looked into torso sizes and realised that I have a short torso, so I need to figure out what fits me well. I’ve noticed that in certain pants, I do look like a box. Sometimes I am bloated, and my stomach makes me look even bigger than I actually am. When I wear T-shirts and jeans, this is even more noticeable.
I haven’t dressed sexy in a very long time, and I don’t even know what that looks like for me, as I have been very conservative with my style. I only dress up really nicely if I am going on a solo date or if I’m going to a friend’s party or dinner. I don’t often remember to take pictures of my outfits, but here are a few from when I did remember to take pictures.
The green jacket I didn’t buy but I thought it looked cute on me. I also defined the colors that look best on me.
Those are:
Crimson
Petrol teal/evergreen
Navy
Black cherry/burgundy
Terracotta
Camel
Tangerine
Aubergine
Olive
Coral
Black
Kindly suggest anything that could help me spice things up a bit.

Advice Wanted Please! How could I add color to this?
It's not as shapeless when I'm not holding a phone up.
I tried a brooch but I still looked like I was in deep mourning

Advice Wanted Please! I went shopping at lunch and changed the funeral outfit
Here's the outfit without the jacket. I switched to gold bangles and waist chain thingy I made with a pair of earrings and a necklace set
I want some kind of layer over the skirt and top since I'm not loving the place where the skirt and top meet.
Cardigans aren't right, the blazer/cape jacket earlier wasn't right, vests weren't quite right, any other ideas of things to try?
(For those of you who don't like the ankle boots, I'm sorry, the one pair of tall boots I found came over my knee and that felt super weird)

Outfit of The Day It's spring in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the last days of this year for overcoat weather.
A 10°C day meant breaking out a British Warm Crombie coat with a fur collar and suede dress gloves, worn over a Gieves & Hawkes suit, Hawes & Curtis shirt. The jewellery includes Swarovski cufflinks.
The footwear are Thomas Cook Chelsea boots.
